I would like to see the main spawn turn into a teleporter to valhala when you beat the "final" boss, then you can teleport to valhala whenever you want battle other warriors and creatures to get your skills up enough to fight odin himself and get some final endgame god teir armor and weapons, and you can come back to your base whenever you want. that would make me happy
Well the idea with the portal opening where the spawn is is not entirely out of the question it could be a portal to valhala of some sorts like a proper ending.
What they devs said was that the game would be 1.0 after Deep North and have a proper ending. But I don't think they closed the door on future updates or DLC. If I had to guess, I would say they don't have a clear sense of their plans post Deep North. Probably PS5 and Switch ports, then...who knows?
I did forget to say but i did write it somewhere in the video that that is is for Valheim base game but that they could have more plans for valheim its just that the base game ends here with the deep north.
yggdrasil is the Worldtree which connects the 9 Worlds (Valheim is the 10th) So future Dlcs could use that tree as a portal to visit worlds like nidawellir or even Midgard (maybe to recruit some Vikings to live in those settlements😅😅) . It would be a realy cool way to add new stuff to the Game without forcing us to recreate a new World over and over.
Valheim has always been stable and operated smoothly. The game has recently developed mysterious random lock ups. It appears to hang randomly. Maybe, the developers can fix that issue as game lock ups destroy playability.
Mby in ur case it has been a smooth gameplay experience but meany builder's and regular players are complaining about the games stability declining the more you stay in one world and the more you load it an build in it. So that is what i was referring to when i said that they plan to work on the optimization more
I have been saying to my friend since the release of valheim, how cool it would be if the final dungeon is in the tree that hangs across the map. I mean you need to go too the north and south poles of the game tot get your end game gear, and then you need to make one last journey to the east or west to enter the final dungeon.
Yeah it would be awesome to have a final boss fight up there on the world tree. Or as someone in my comments section suggested that when you get the final boss trophy you place it back at the spawn and you get a portal to valhala or final boss.
@ProfessionalMage The obsession is indeed Valheim. It's hard to hear about these smaller updates that flesh out the world and make it feel like there's more to find and more life without hopping back in. I started my new world when the update hit open beta. My goal is level 100 in all homesteading skills. It'll definitely be a journey. Unrelated but do you have any tips with finding sea serpents? I want to try their gear this time around but have only ever encountered one.
@@nehoymenoy3845 For the serpent just make sure its raining or that there is a storm when you are looking for them an they are gonna be there. They usually attack you when you are sailing.
honestly I would be happy to pay for game like that even 70 dollars becasue after all its better game than dragon age veilguard or any new game of ubisoft.i Hope the people who make valheim get huge profit
O yeah i can say it with no doubt in my mind that Valheim is better than anything that ubisoft released recently. And i also hope that hey profit from this game bcs its done well!
They said you will still be able to roam your world after the end, so no you won't lose your save. They said : "we don't want you to lose the base you've spent thousands of hours on" Makes sense. I'd be so mad 😅
Well ofc that they did but this time we know when and how the ending is gonna look like. When i say we know how its gonna look like whe know that there are gonna be choices to be made and we know that one of them is to stay and work on ur base but the other one we don't know. But ty for letting me know about that thing 3y ago i did not know about that up until now.
Yeah, but obviously, none of us believed it would be in the same century, seeing how long they took to make something as simple as hearth & home. I can name at least 30 modders who worked one afternoon and made more content. JS
Hey i remember you from that Genshin video i am glad you are still here. I would not say that i am popping off bcs i had videos like this before but still nice to have some videos that do well from time to time i just wish my other content would do the same bcs that stuff is harder to make but i enjoy it more.
Why wouldn't they have a similar difficulty scaling as before? Each biome should be harder than the last to a point, in my opinion the Ashlands should have been the last biome to be made and have it have been the hardest as it is basically hell for the land
I don't know but they said that its gonna be difficult in another way and that they wanna make the last biome more cozy for the player and not hell on earth. That said in terms of difficulty its gonna be like ashlands but difficult in another (idk why i wrote it twice) way, that is what they said. And yeah i kinda agree with you ashlands looks like something that would be the biome for the last battle and on the other side i still want my last experience in valheim to be little bit more pleasant then hell's of ashlands. But hey we each have different tasted and wishes so they cant give us all what we want.
Tbh idk the songs are renamed in my files so idk what are they called i found them all in yt studio library that is all i know lol. You can find tons free to use music there provided by yt.
Hhahahahha i see another brother who got fisted in mistlands welcome! Yeah it would be nice to see some improvements to mistlands i hear that that is the point at which meany people quit the game especially solo player's.
What i wanna know is, will valheim get achievements/trophies and will world modifiers lock you out from them? same with using console commands and will achievments be locked to worlds that has had console commands turned on but not anymore, and i do hope with those small updates they'll add more tameble mountble beasts like horses, more critters and such
I didn't say it in the video but they said that its gonna get achievements, we don't know how are they gonna work wit console but its gonna get them in the deep north.
I hope they don't add anything after Deep North. Many games suffer from the same mistake - constantly adding content to keep the game "fresh" but every single update keeps shifting the balance of the game and making it easier and easier and less unique. Your example with magic is perfect. It's great that there is no magic in early game, it makes it so that each biome introduces something entirely new. Every single survival game I know struggles with this exact same issue, the game was good when it started but ended up being bloated. I am looking at you Minecraft, I am looking at you Terraria, I am looking at you Starbound. It is fine for a game to end.
Yeah i guess i see ur point and kinda agree. And my point about early game magic is just what i would like if the game had it from the beginning, i know that adding magic now to the early game would ruin the game and balancing.
I'm sad to think about the ending of Valheim lol I think the thing that'll keep me from actually doing that is the dread of grinding my stats to 100 again lol That's such a pain in the ass.
Uf tell me about it i didn't grin all of my stats to 100 but i did it with my magic an that was soooo annoying and every time i died i knew that i was looking at few hours of grinding to get those levels back!
@@ProfessionalMage omg you can ask Samus, every time I die i go "gotta work on my stats again" lol Shes started calling me out for being addicted to leveling stats.

I hope they make a valheim 2 with a new engine more graphics and combat, and you can make caves and stuff. I love this game but the terrain is one of its biggest flaws
I hope for the same thing, i would love to see the second game after this one and yeah the ability to make caves. You can sometimes make a cave in valheim but it depends on ur luck and if the game glitches out.
Same friend same it is an amazing game and to think that its coming to an end is sad but as some people here said for 20$ we got our moneys worth and more. I just hope that there is gonna Valheim 2 or something like that.
@@ProfessionalMage I'm totaly agree, for 20$ it's amazing to have this huge amazing game. I've never played a video game for this long. Valheim 2 will be great !
I'm against the idea of this kind of game having an "ending" I didn't like what the Ender Dragon did to people's mentality when Mojang added it to Minecraft. It doesn't feel like it belongs in survival games. It is too linear of an idea for what should be a progression driven but mostly open sandbox experience To clarify, I'm talking about an "ending" mechanic. Development should end at some point, since this is not a game with live service monetization and we've already gotten more than enough value for the money we paid
I understand ur point and softly agree with it but i still think that you are gonna run out of things to do sooner or later so having that an ending to it all to tie it all together is a nice thing. This ending that they plan on adding is an good survival game ending, you get 2 choices stay or go which is fine by me. If you stay you get that sandbox experience of continuing to build and survive which you would do without ending and if you done it all you can leave and go play something else. I know that feeling when you enjoy the game and you have you reach its ending but it all must end at some point. But hey that is just a theory, a game theory! We all have different tastes and expectations so what you and i said doesn't matter much on a grand scale. And yeah i totally get ur point i hope you get mine too.
So they’ve bailed on the ocean ‘biome’? What a disappointment, strung along for 5 years. At least they bought a horse and made a board game, and a half released port for Xbox. What a ride.
Well i played at release of ashlands and it was hell on earth now its a bit easier but i hear its still hell. And mistlands is hard too bcs of the fog and all the thing that want to fist you in the fog. So yeah i would say that they are bad haha.
Idk i know its not everyone's taste but i do like Valheim's combat but i can see why some people would not like it. And i can already see some people coming under ur comment to attack u for that opinion already but everyone calm down its his opinion you don't need to attack the guy if he does not like the combat in the game.
@@ProfessionalMage I'm not worried about people being grumpy, we all have different opinions. I criticize because I want an awesome game to be even better. I would just like to see a bit more depth in the combat system because other systems, especially building, is really good. The knockback on parry is a real bummer for me because parrying is meant to give you an opening. On the other hand, they could enhance knockback and add collision with other enemies, dealing damage or even staggering them as well. Also another attack or two for each weapon would go a very long way and maybe a shield charge or bash.
@@garver5833and sledge overhaul would be really nice. Also buffing the tank wielding two-handed weapon is a long needed change. Like add more combat related content! Well, this is Valheim we're talking about. And its dev team is mostly known for.... Not doing anything. Especially not thinking. nice rage bait. they're a small team making a big game. i'd say they're doing a lot better than other studios. personally i like that they're tackling updates the way they are, because rushing it isn't going to make it good. i'd rather they be mindful of their health and take their time to make a game they can all be proud of than to act like big budget studios that work people half to death and release half-assed products that don't match up to expectation. valheim at the very least doesn't feel as derivative and flat as other games in its genre, and if they worked harder and faster i feel like that would change. tldr: ultimately, if you want to prove it can be done quicker, go make one yourself.

@@sspeek I just hope that we get something like that.
I've fallen back into my obsession.
That obsession is Valheim? Or did i get something wrong lol?
Honestly, with them wrapping up the game, seems to me they wish to move onto Valheim II ;)
I hope that you are right about that, imagine what we could see and do in Valheim 2 uff i hope it comes out at some point.
They said you will still be able to roam your world after the end, so no you won't lose your save.
They said : "we don't want you to lose the base you've spent thousands of hours on"
Makes sense. I'd be so mad 😅
That is good to hear, i'd be mad too if i lost it all.
they confirmed it like 3 years ago after hearth and home(that valheim will get an ending)
JS
Damn, almost 8k views in less than 24 hours. You’re starting to pop off. keep up the good work bro!
They should add some ai enemies that are other Vikings like us like bandits and like bandit hideouts on the water 🤔
U you cocked there that would be fun if we had that other human enemies it would be cool!
what music did you use on the background of the video? haha
Tbh idk the songs are renamed in my files so idk what are they called i found them all in yt studio library that is all i know lol. You can find tons free to use music there provided by yt.
I don't care about an ending, just make the Mistlands enjoyable.
Hhahahahha i see another brother who got fisted in mistlands welcome! Yeah it would be nice to see some improvements to mistlands i hear that that is the point at which meany people quit the game especially solo player's.
Ice Giants, Ice Towers!
Amen 🙏
That fuck you caught me off guard lmaoooo😂😂
Hhaha some other people said the same.
@@ProfessionalMage awesome, i do hope they wont be locked out cuz of past console commands useage on xbox
@@swahini Yeah that i don't know but we will have to wait and see.
@@dragonenchantress6609 The funny thing is that i didn't know about the skill loss after death so i was just confused to see my skill level's decreasing.
@ProfessionalMage that's pain lol you've from to be a true wizard now
I hope they make a valheim 2 with a new engine more graphics and combat, and you can make caves and stuff. I love this game but the terrain is one of its biggest flaws
I hope for the same thing, i would love to see the second game after this one and yeah the ability to make caves. You can sometimes make a cave in valheim but it depends on ur luck and if the game glitches out.
I would like to put 20$ or more to have 5 more biomes. I would like the game never ends
Knew valheim was getting an ending with or just after deep north like two biomes ago update wise. 😂
I'm against the idea of this kind of game having an "ending"
I didn't like what the Ender Dragon did to people's mentality when Mojang added it to Minecraft. It doesn't feel like it belongs in survival games. It is too linear of an idea for what should be a progression driven but mostly open sandbox experience
To clarify, I'm talking about an "ending" mechanic.
@ProfessionalMage sounds like a fair compromise
Can you show your house in a video it looks so good and cozy
There is a video on my channel where i did a small tour of this particular base of mine so you can check that out.
After this latest update my Valheim has been so broken, devs please fix
Broken???? In which way what went wrong lol
@ the content that was added is fantastic, nothing wrong with that, I play Valheim on xbox and after the latest update it messed up controllers.
@@jeffm6609 Oh yeah i heard something about that, they will probably fix that soon i speculate that they are probably already working on a fix.
@I agree, Im sure they are working on it, it has made the game frustrating to play so I do hope soon
@@jeffm6609 ..... You play with a controller?
So they’ve bailed on the ocean
‘biome’? What a disappointment, strung along for 5 years. At least they bought a horse and made a board game, and a half released port for Xbox. What a ride.
Yeah i really hoped for an ocean expansion update but nothing it seems.
Wonder what there next game will be
Same here but whatever it is knowing the devs its gonna be good.
Is Ashlands and mistlands as bad as everybody says?
Well i played at release of ashlands and it was hell on earth now its a bit easier but i hear its still hell. And mistlands is hard too bcs of the fog and all the thing that want to fist you in the fog. So yeah i would say that they are bad haha.
@@ProfessionalMage Hopefully they refine them by 1.0
Check out the gaping hole that Bethesda used to be 😂 Harsh but true
Yeah sadly true and i love their games so its even harder to say it xd
Hopefully it gets a combat overhaul first
Idk i know its not everyone's taste but i do like Valheim's combat but i can see why some people would not like it.
Just look how pathetic the spear attacks are... Jees. I really hope they either do something like that or remember their old mistakes in development of the next game
Well, this is Valheim we're talking about. And its dev team is mostly known for.... Not doing anything. Especially not thinking. So we can keep speculating for at least another 2 years before the first image of the first mob is revealed, sending us all into a disillusioned state. This team makes Star Citizen's development look good. Let that sink in. Because you know Im right.
Nah. Bad take. Iron Gate takes forever but they admit why. They're a laid-back European style of development and game creation. They aren't being shady or malicious.
@@gregutz4284 Never said they were malicious or shady
nice rage bait.
they're a small team making a big game. i'd say they're doing a lot better than other studios. personally i like that they're tackling updates the way they are, because rushing it isn't going to make it good. i'd rather they be mindful of their health and take their time to make a game they can all be proud of than to act like big budget studios that work people half to death and release half-assed products that don't match up to expectation. valheim at the very least doesn't feel as derivative and flat as other games in its genre, and if they worked harder and faster i feel like that would change.
tldr: ultimately, if you want to prove it can be done quicker, go make one yourself.
@@ravenzaphara5513 No problem. Already working on the board game. Then comes the card game. And then we'll see if there are any employees left to actually work on the pc game. A proven strategy.
tldr: Look, my automatic applause function doesnt work as well as yours, don't hold it against me.
