    Both very nice sound. With the Klipsch the sound stage seemed more muddy and the highs more muted. With the Monitor Audio, the highs sounded clearer and refined, and the sound stage wider, the instruments seemed to have more separation. Nicely done review, well matched comparison.

    even tough I just bought myself MA bronze 2 I feel that Klipsch had a richer, more natural and wide range of sound compared to Bronze 2. Bronze 2 depending on the style of the music felt bit closed to my hearing. I didn't hear it from the headphones, using my MacBook Pro now. If price isn't an issue definitely Klipsch however where I live, Spain, monitor audio bronze 2 go for half price of Klipsch at the moment so I would go for MA Bronze 2 if its on sale.

    Just saw another video about the Klipsch saying it needs about 50 to 100 hours burn in and also does better with around 200 W for amplification. I found it hard to tell much of a difference between these two speakers in this demo.

      Anyone who tells you that the Klipsch need 200W should be ignored and shunned by polite society.

    Klipsch sound: richer, warmer, but more closed, smaller. Better bass. More emotional.
    Audio bronse sound: thinner, flatter, but clearer, more open, wider. Weaker bass. More analytic.

    The Klipsch definitely have more of a v-shaped response curve. They also time better. Both speakers are pretty similar in balance. The Monitors have that slightly clicky, metallic house-sound tweeter. Prefer the Klipsch sound.

      Thanks. It's placed at the exact same spot I'm sitting. It's basically a 1.85m from speakers which are around 1.9m among each other. Almost perfect triangle. The whole room is 3.6m x 5m. (sorry if you're from the US , I can only do metric system off the top of my head). The recorder itself is OK but can't truly capture the scale and dynamics of the real thing.

    The Klipsch are a lot easier to listen to, but I don't like how the mids blend in with the lows at times. I wouldn't go so far as to call them muddy, but they definitely are far from articulate at times. I find the MA more precise, but overall quite harsh with their trademark brightness. I own MA GR60s and S2s, and this is precisely why I didn't buy MA Bronze. Now I remember how unrefined the bronze speakers sound in comparison. That said, they are far more affordable. Also, MA is really known for its sound stage, something that is demonstrably different between the two, especially evident on track 5.

      Bas je precizan ali pomalo tanak. Verovatno je dobar ko mora da ih stavi u ugao, u manju prostoriju i sl. pa da se tu malo napravi basa od prostorije. U suprotnom visoki malo dominiraju.

    Monitor Audio sounds sterile, somehow. The Klipsch does not have the same balance, maybe, but has an openness, lush, or shimmer to it. The Klipsch may be too lively and bright for some people ,and less clinical, but they are way more engaging.

      Haven't had a chance to compare them directly... but from what I can recall - technically they're both capable for very decent detailing and layering. Q350 is warmer sounding with fuller vocals. Bronze 2 is lean and precise, somewhat more analytical.

  • @gtk_NO
    @gtk_NO 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Ive had both, both speakers are quite horrible in their own ways. The monitor audio is less horrible, and at half or less than half the price, but its no longer available when stock runs out. Klipsch has a missing midrange which measurements also show, the monitor audio has something seriously odd going on with the treble. Easily beaten by Dynaudio Emit M20, ELAC Debut Reference - DBR62 and probably Triangle and B&W in similar price range.

    • @Mihai092
      @Mihai092 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Their top refined, english speakers, Dynaudio maybe, Elac just lows and Triangle just highs lol, M Audio flat with refined top.

    • @gtk_NO
      @gtk_NO 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Mihai092 For me the bronze 2 treble is not refined but sounds like it abruptly cuts off or something compared to a lot of other speakers tested. Or/in addition the treble has some kind of weird ring/nasal quality to it. Different preferences I guess.

    • @Mihai092
      @Mihai092 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@gtk_NO i forgot to mention i never auditioned Bronze 2 ( i own Silver 100 ), but M Audio in general they got slightly rolled of highs to compensate the harshness and sibilance some amps can cause at high volumes or to compensate some really bad recordings. It breaks down to a matter of tastes yes, i agree with u that Dynaudio or B&W may be better choice in the same price range, for example b&w got a very sweet midrange bloom, that kinda makes everything more melodic due to harmonics in that area but doesnt got the rhytm and muscles, tight correct and eforthless bass an M Audio has, most speakers that emphasis a certain area of harmonics tend to get congested on a high tempo or 5+ instruments wich is kinda sad lol for such pricey speakers with their capability of imaging. I also owned Wharfedale Diam. 10.2. I think it all breaks down to the pairing of the speakers, the room harmonics and ur position in it, do justice to this and any hi fi speaker will sound sweet, yet in this price range they all have their ups and downs, some are energetic but losses decay that helps voices and harmonics sound melodic, some got a lot of decay so voices are sweet and instruments got meat with holographic *sonic blanket* feeling but they congest on high tempo and lose phase on more instruments, some are flat, some roll off like hell the highs and lets low-to-mid melodic cristal clarity enjoyment, no fatigue lissening, some got them all but costs u like buying a car xD

    • @gtk_NO
      @gtk_NO 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Mihai092 Its very tough yes, just gotta choose a pair that has attributes that a person likes, but not at the same time a speaker that has an attribute thats a dealbreaker for a particular person. I suspect whatever I hear with the bronze is an artifact of that speaker being very affordable tbh, I havent heard speakers up the range of monitor audio but I would suspect whatever i hear to be gone then, I bought the bronzes as a gift because the price was too good :) Could be the bronzes are tuned to more brighter amps at the same pricerange. Dynaudio and Dali is maybe the most lightfooted fast speakers of those mentioned, I want to test ATC but thats also 2x price of those minimum.

    wait RP600M is one of the top of the line bookshelf speakers Klipsch have to offer while Bronze 2 is an entry lvl speakers that cost half the price that of 600M. A more accurate comparison would be Bronze 100 or silver range which actually is of the same grade as 600M, you will see a lot of things missing in the klipsch

    Didn't hear the RPM600s ever, except on YT. I've heard MA Bronze 2s with my 40 years old (re-capped) Pioneer SA608 amp and didn't like the treble. Wound up with the Cantons 502.2 at the end. In this video, I couldn't hear any significant difference between Klipsches and MAs (maybe it's my hearing, maybe it's the headphones I'm using...)

    • @nc3419

    • @vladimirjovanovic2803
      @vladimirjovanovic2803 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nc3419 I like Cantons very much, so I kept them. They have enough bass extension for such a small dimension speaker, the sound is very balanced and the stereo image is nice and stable. There's not too much depth, I would say everything is more/less in the plane of the speakers. Frankly, I forgot how MAs sounded, except for being a bit rolled-off at the top end, which tipped me to the Cantons

    Focal Chora 806 destroys both. The Klipsch is maybe good on an expensive flea powered SET tube amp but on the end of a cheap solid state or class D....no thanks! Monitor Audio nice fit n finish.... but nothing else. Soulless boring hifi try-hard sound, crappy tweeters until you get to their amt designs. Focal chora has huge soundstage, warmth AND detail, much better bespoke drivers, still an easy load for a 20w tube amp. Not even a competition to my ears.
