Hi, this is the inverter: www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Datasheet-MultiPlus-500-1200VA-120V-EN.pdf A victron 1200VA Happy NY, 2025 full of (green) energy.
Thanks, happy new year to you too! I ment the while integration, the inverter, the bluetooth module, battery, etc. Would be great to have an episode on that, going from battery to small scale ess for a van
They are using two 8AWG wires for the negative terminal? That's a recommended ampacity of 110A. What's the point of a 200A continuous BMS if the cables aren't rated for it? Also, I noticed you put the main negative lug above the balancing wire lug. Lugs carrying the most current should be closest to the power source.
Good remark. I mentioned it for the positive pole but didn't apply for the negative pole. Will add "errata" under the video and on the EASYPOWERWALL FB page. About the power, it's always good to have some headroom. 80AMP/1KW is no issue after 15min. Had no 2KW inverter at hand to test this load....But I agree 2x 8AWG is not designed for +100A for to long.
@@easypowerwall Thats a general problem with chinese cables. too thin. I use for such cells and the JK 200A AWG3 two times (25mm² x2), AWG5 two times would be the minimum (16mm² x 2)
Hey Hannes, it is. You can try to negotiate with the company to ship the box without BMS. This way box + shipping will be below 150 and there will be no import tax. Feel free to contact me via my facebook channel, if I want I can try to convince the company if people are intrested. Franky - EASYPOWERWALL
It would be good to add a Circuit Breaker for the 12V Battery Box version and I would also like to have two main plus and minus terminals instead of just one.
All the wishes will have an impact on the price ofcours. Price wise this box is best in class. Personally I like a fuse/breaker out of the box, but I put it on the list.
I prefer the larger JK 4.3" touchscreen, it would be good if the UBP had a user-buyer display option. For me missing mounting options for these 12V and 24V battery boxes. For newly manufactured battery boxes it would be good to add rows of 3 to 4 threaded inserts - min. M6 - down above the base and under the lid, from the outside to the back wall and into the side walls.
A real pitty to hear that. They didn't send the item to me, I paid for the box & batteries. Feel free to send me your box for honest review. Hope your innovatiow will be rewarded some day. I and the DIY community are here to support.
Nice and clear Franky congratulations !
Thanks for the comment Pascal, have a nice weekend.

Great review, thanks! Would be great to learn more about the inverter box you used

You need 2 gauge wire to connect the terminal.
hi ,is this build kit shipped from China to Europe, and so most likely to be subjected to import taxes (to belgium?)

You better mount the thermo sensor to the battery body.
Good remark. Mounted one on the battery, the other one to the BMS.

Thanks for the feedback Tibor. Will collect all feedback and send it to the factory/dealer.
It’s really infuriating. This company copied almost all of our products and even sent them to others for review. How could they be so shameless?
