I appreciate a guy that doesn't make a project out of nothing. Your no nonsense approach to things is refreshing in a sea of content creators who seem to believe that you need to take 8 hours to sharpen chain to a mirror finish only to hit an old fence staple halfway through the first tree and ruin it. Seeing someone who knows that good enough is in fact good enough for the situation is refreshing. Keep up the great work.

  • @Ukelove

I really like that gas can strap. It’s beautiful. Thanks for the chain sharpening explainer. Keep it up Feller.

Great workshop video. Love the simple ideas that work. Can't wait till the next video

Thanks for sharing feller. The 8 pin sprocket is that way to go. All i use in my felling saws. I took the time to watch your vid this morning. Now i'm heading out to trim the butts of a few logs that my co-worker felled. He flat cut em and never trimmed em. Cant not trim em. Have a great weekend and keep it safe out there.

Cool that you kept it real with the do-over on the starter cover swap - happens to us all but very few will show it in their vids.

Up graded to the 8 pin on the 592 and 572 , definitely a positive up grade , still raining here , matts are mandatory , its either dust or mud , its part of the game , its play or be played, gotta love it !

I like the fact that you show the way stuff really happens!

I was rockin my og 394 for many years. Definetly needed to re tighten shit on the regular. Bought a 372 shortly after and its been my favorite go to saw for firewood and cutting trees ever since. I have to admit I've had a stihl 661c for couple years and ive been rather impressed. Not a husqvarna dealer for miles. Not that they ever have issues but Ace is the place around here. I run full skip just to cut back on sharpening. Watching you backchain like a madman makes me rethink my options. I only cut for firewood at this point so its not do or die like it used to be. Couldnt agree more about finding guys that wanna work. I miss trees. Im built for it just like you.

  • @KillingerUSA

Great video! I saw that gas can sling on WCS websites and tought how much cooler it would be in leather. Im planning on making one soon. Thanks for sharing.

I have to Say, that you are so true about people that do not want to Work. I sure would work for you and definitely show you even at 71yrs I still can do it with 3 Heart Stents installed. I was down for almost 3Weeks and went nuts almost because I could not do anything. I am doing much better now as every other day doing about 1hour a Day. I still get tired but refuse to give up. I cut Firewood for myself, and nobody wants to Help out as it's to hard a job, for them. New Saw before long the 572 Husky. Getting there Slow, but your Videos are very informative and Helpful. I am on my way to your area to start Skidding out those Walnut, and White Oak Logs. You Cut and I will Trim up, all Team Work. You stay Safe my Friend and looking out for your next great Video.

  • @kaceesavage

Great info all the way through! I would like to see how you got that loop out of your chain a little better.

  • @jonsalvehakedal2988

Old logger from Norway….I wish I had your mindset 40years ago, Thanks for bringing some effectiveness inn😂

  • @Zackronym

Man that leather gas can sling is slick, only thing it’s missing is something to hold a six pack.

  • @jacobdavis1752

I had the rope issue last week with the 592 .My saw is all blue lock tight yet the two small screws that hold the spring housing to the outer cover backed out enough for the hook on the spring to come off it’s post. I re wrapped the rope 3 times and pre set it. After a few pulls it wasn’t pulling the rope back in. The tension on the main center bolt has to be just right . To tight and that won’t wind up. I was also warned the plastic gear will strip but I haven’t had that issue. Bar nuts are sex one of my favorite parts of the saw . I top with a 61 and I’m constantly still eye balling the old style nuts while I cut 😂.

  • @peterfiske6701

You left a piece of plastic on the flywheel. Should have blown out before installing the new starter. Great video. Enjoy your content.
