One of the few airports in the world that always brings a smile right to my face. Thanks for sharing these! As a frequent traveler, it's often nice to know ahead of time what you can expect to see at an airport before actually going there.
Thanks for the video! I’m trying to help a student on his first international trip and it was very helpful to demonstrate the stages and where to go next after landing. thank you very much!
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the only commercial airport serving Metro Vancouver and is located in Richmond, BC, a satellite city just south of Vancouver, but in Sea Island where one of the mouths of the Fraser River flows into. Unlike NAIA (MNL), YVR have access to more rail transports and it gets busy during rush hour like MNL. However, this not the only airport serving Vancouver. There are more airports in the Lower Mainland.
Went through this airport back in June 2022 to catch a cruise but came in from the other side of the international terminal (where those escalators at 4:06 lead to). Stayed at the airport hotel for the night. Overall it was a pretty decent airport all things considered.
Next time you need currency, your best bet is to go to the ATM. Currency exchange kiosks are notoriously expensive whereas at the ATM you'll get the bank rate.
if im arriving in Canada( Vancouver )on an international flight, ( from Turkey), and after that I’m flying to Calgary, should I collect my luggage? Where should I check in them again?/ drop to the domestic flight. Thanks
