    I’ve had mine for 2 years now and just found out that you are supposed to start it with the lid open and leaving the temp on default (smoke) 180F. Doh!

    Mr. jazz I noticed you did not keep the lid / door open on the start up for the smoke 💨 to disappear . I hear and seen on TH-cam it could explode 🤯! Glad your back ! I got my grandson the lock hart ! He loves it! Thanks

      Hey brother Alex I apologized for the late really ts been a long busy week. Yes sir you should always open the lid during the start up process on any pellet smoker then you can close the lid after your see a rolling smoke. Otherwise the combustion can explode and can cause damage to you or anyone close to your smoker. Man the Lockhart is a beast it self and the unit saved me from using more then 1 smoker at a time. Also thank you for your kind words and for your continuous support. Salute!!!

    Do you have to hold the auger button to feed the pellets every time you use it? Or once it’s been feed does it just need to be pressed again once the pellets run out?

    Do you think that you could fit two whole briskets in there?

    • @SmokinJazzBbq
      @SmokinJazzBbq  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well depending on the size of the full packard briskets. If it’s 10 pounds or more i would say no. However you might be able to stack one on top of another with the warming shelf and rotate the briskets as needed. Thanks for watching and for your support. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

    Hey bro I know you're the guy to get me the answer, why is the Lockhart out of stock, is it being discontinued let me know champ

    • @SmokinJazzBbq
      @SmokinJazzBbq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey bro sorry for the late reply. I dd some research first before I answer your question correctly and found out that most pit boss grill product line ups such as the lockhart are only in production for about 4 to 5 years and they come out with a new version. This smoker is a beast so if you see it on clearance grab it bro unless you already have one. Not sure what new version they have to replace this smoker but I am sure its going to be a good one, Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and for your continuous support. Salute!!!

    You don't have to turn the grill off before you spray your oil ? You don't get no flash fire when you spray with oil in a aerosol can?

    • @zephyrus7258
      @zephyrus7258 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can do it before or during. As long as your not spraying into direct flame it's fine.

    U gotta hold the Prime button for 3-5 min?

    • @SmokinJazzBbq
      @SmokinJazzBbq  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes sir unfortunately it’s a pain in the butt holding that darn button for 3 to 5 minutes straight but it’s only when you do the first burn or if you do a deep clean or if you really wanna completely change out the flavor pellets. (Which means you would have to completely vacuum out the entire batch of pellets that you want to change out.) Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for watching and for your support. Salute!!!

    Why every time I watch BBQ video, there is a guy always calling things " bad boy", I guess Freud would have a lot to say about that.
