Those who wants to pick him up as the main Thor...what you can do is paint the eyes white or light blue to give it a glowing effect....simple modification
I know he is a cyborg clone ''Thor'', But to me, I still might get him and use him as regular Thor in my main Avengers display along with 20th anniversary Captain America, 2oth anniversary Hulk, vintage collection Falcon, vintage collection West Coast Avengers White Vision, and Scarlet Witch. It looks like the right hand was also modified to hold the hammer better. I was hoping you would do parts swap to show how Ragnarok looks with the other Thor’s head and fisted left hand.
I’m actually very tempted by this release Dan, I always liked the idea of Ragnarok from the Civil War comics as being designed by Mr Fantastic to completely take down the heroes who had sided with Captain America
It's a good looking figure. Thanks for giving us a close up look at him. It's subtle, but you can almost see a color gradation on his cyborg head in the left/damaged eye that looks like it's lit up. I like that.
What's crazy is that this same swirling hammer effect that was originally with a Marvel/Diamond Select Thor also couldn't grip the swirling hammer tightly either.
I've got 3 ordered...I want one to display, 1 for my kids, and i want one to try and cut out the 8 twirling hammers. Does it seem like that will be possible or does the the rest of the effects prevent me from doing so? We have every version of Thor and some I bought on ebay and the hammers weren't included
Hey dan did this figure release in The UK early ? Cause in United States it’s just barely trickling in our stores. Don’t know why people want to make him a regular thor, i for one adore his evil cyborg look. Was thinking of making an evil avengers team with cosmic hulk with the cyborg head too.

I actually really like Civil War, one of my favorite crossover stories even though it's not well received today. This was an easy pass for me - barely got a cape replacement for my 80th Thor and I'll be getting the hammer effect elsewhere *cough* Mafex Cap *cough* Great review and happy to see they changed at least a couple things on this version. Great re-use. Only thing is of he's a clone of Thor, why change his costume colour? I suppose as another way to differentiate it. I never understood if they cloned Thor, then why does he need to be a cyborg as well? Would've been cool if they changed the cape sculpt and gave him more cybernetics showing on his arm.
If you have an extra Hercules, you change out the hands and he should be able to grip the hammer much better to spin. However I will giving Ragnarok a movie Thor hammer because that POS of a robot is not worthy to carry Mjolnir.
What happened to the right robotic hand? I've seen images of the figure with it, and in the box too, why didn't Hasbro include it with the final product?

He looks awsome is he worth 90$ on Amazon? Im never going to find him at target. Also the red on cyborg Thor cape looks nice the color scheme with the new cap looks great

Everyone in my toy group on Facebook was complaining that the fact that hey changed the hands from the pictures that were originally released.
Nice review, I like the figure. But you didn't mention the fact Hasbro removed an extra hand they had previously shown us

They left out mr.fantastic having a hand in it and the body the clone dropped

BTW - I just got the figure, you can cut the middle of the handle or grip and it becomes a real strap and you can put his fingers thru it!!!
