Great information! I have had not ready issues a few times with no alarms... it really leaves you with no direction to diagnose unless you have this knowledge. On top of everything when my machine hit the hard limit switch the switch remained stuck in after being released and really through me for a loop.
Glad it was helpful! The first few times I got tunnel vision on the hard limit switch itself. All off them require disassembly. Now I know it's much easier to just move the ballscrews by hand vs trying to get the switch itself to move off the hard.

@@namvi2857 I don't have any experience with the Fuji spindle drive. Looking at the manual it appears to have extensive diagnostic functions you may want to review and check.
Check your E stops first, watched your video, due the same issue, though ours is a wood panel cutting router, called our tech cause I didn’t want to clear all of our coordinates, thanks for your video

Had our 1996 version of you're machine now for one week, so far I can Home it and manually change a tool, can you manually turn on the spindle or is that a MDI g-code? BTW thanks for all the info, this is really great!!!!! Ok, I see you are addressing this question in the next video!! Thanks again!
The spindle is a MDI g-code. It take a while to get a work flow setup but it works great once you have it in place. If you have the exact same machine be sure to fix any air cylinder leaks. The tool changer can quickly wipe out some expensive tool/tool holders if you have a bad air cylinder.

I won't be doing very complex parts so I don't think I'll need 3d modeling, but would like to generate code from 2D, any suggestions on software?
Hi 👋 I have a Fanuc OM on an old cnc milling machine when I try to send the program it doesn't load it and shows LSK on the screen . I thought it might be the cable but I tried it on another machine it's working . The parameters seem to be ok according to the manual .
If it has tool pocket for the ATC I would check to see if it's hung in the middle. If you have your machine's ladder you can check the state. if it's not hung you may have a bad sensor. In my case mine is air actuated so when that cylinder goes back for the pocket slider it fails to fully extend or retract causing a similar error.

Does your control have the Spiral Interpolation option? If not G13 will not work.
