Razor Clam Digging, Early May 2023

Took me about 35 minutes to get my limit of 20 clams that day. The area I am digging is located right off the public access area and rarely has anyone digging on weekdays.
-1.5 ft tides allowed us to get out farther and catch many of the 4-5.5 inch clams. I think that these conditions an hr before the tide turns are perfect if you have children or elderly family members wanting to join. -1.5ft to -2.0 ft allow you to get farther out without being hit by a massive wave but I highly recommend still looking out for them and crabs hiding in tide pools.
