You’re dead right mate! We’ll be back soon 🛥️💨 Yeah the sunrise was amazing and a perfect opportunity to get the drone up 👌🏼 Thanks for watching, much appreciated 🙏🏼
Unfortunate & expensive, but hardly a disaster. Total engine failure can happen though & it could have been in rapid tidal streams, so would you not consider fitting an auxilliary outboard? Hope you get sorted & back out soon, good luck from a fellow boater, Northumberland.
Disaster in terms of the days fishing! 🤣 But you’re right, flat calm, slack water, could have been much much worse. Thankfully relatively easy to sort at sea and no danger really. I don’t really fancy an auxiliary tbh, the boat handles great without one on and I feel an aux might really affect that. But might be something to look into further. Hopefully back out in a couple of weeks. Thanks for watching and the comments, atb 🫡
@@mboutdoors_uk Fishing is full of people that have either perished or experienced the very worst of the elements and come off very badly , in thinking they dont need a back up .
Nice video, after some tips on landing my drone on a 6 metre rib as last time was a nightmare. Was you anchored with the boat static when landing please. Any tips would be appreciated (Its a mini 3 pro). TIA.
Anchoring is an absolute must for landing! I nearly found that out to my cost 😂😂 Mine is also the Mini3 Pro. Make sure you have all obstacle avoidance turned off as you come into land. Other than that it’s relatively easy once the boat is stable at anchor. Make sure there are no rods at the back of the boat and take it real easy. Good luck 🤞🏼
@@mboutdoors_uk I don’t live there but have a static caravan and have been visiting there regularly for the past 56 years! Who knows, when I retire I may even emigrate. Just wanted to say your channel has inspired me to open up my boat fishing opportunities using the straights but just need to sort out the launching permissions!
Another brilliant video, the drone footage was the best I've seen
Thanks Stuart. It’s definitely the best footage I’ve got of the boat in motion so far. Will be a bit braver now and try get it out more 😂
Days like that make the the good days even better. Great drone footage by the way.

Still had a great day with you Mark can't wait to do it again.
Thanks mate, hopefully we’ll get a few more fish next time 😂

Ouch! Thankfully there was one inside my engine cowling, otherwise it’s a Coastguard shout 🤦🏻♂️
