HI Jenna! As a Professional Organizer, I would recommend getting some clear square stacking bins to add your yarn into so you could completely remove one layer quickly to see what is behind without having to touch each skein. You could also get those under the sink clear bins that stack and pull out like drawers. Basically you want everything to be as close to "one touch" as possible. This will help you maintain it! Beautiful transformation!
“not Pinterest worthy, because all my yarn took over” as a knitwear designer this definitely hit hard 😅 Love how you changed the yarn shelf to a closed door shelf, it looks so chic!
Great room makeover, I just wanted to tell you and anyone, if your not pleased with the color of your peg board to put contact paper over it. I purchased a huge peg board from home Depot and covered it in the white marble contact paper so it matched my Ikea tables also covered in white marble contact paper. $6 a roll from Target or Walmart and it elevates and adds more cohesion to the room
Some clear containers to hold your yarn, kept inside the cabinets might help keep things more organised in the long term. I know myself that I would eventually just start shoving stuff back wherever there is a space, and the cabinet would overflow and it would eventually not even be able to close 😂 I also wondered if painting the peg boards a different colour might make them more likeable and bring in a bit more groove without taking up space or looking cluttered?
I watched your Feb 2021 video and this video back to back on YT auto play without anticipating the back to back saga. I must say that this video is so much more ADULT RELATABLE. Last video was a bit optimistic kid vibes and like you are definitely hitting a note with me and I'm sure many others so thanks for showing your mess and being honest! Inspires me to maybe clear a path through my office/craft room and start puttin shite away!
it turned out so cute!! I love all the pieces and how all the colors tie in perfectly! Also having a table as a desk that u can walk around and work on almost all sides is BRILLIANT
Tip, if you're using a closet to organize fabric, hang your fabric. It makes the world of a difference, and when you need to look for something, it's very easy to find what you want
Lets talk about how welcomed Jenna makes us feel in her vlogs! I truly feel like I'm catching up and spending a good time with a long time friend. And it also helps me keep growing in my art. Jenna's vlogs has no down points
Jenna, it looks fantastic😍😍 and about you doubting those pegboards - maybe you could try to paint them white so the base literally camouflages into the wall (or paint them green to make them pop 👌)
❤❤❤ I really like your color scheme. I was a little hesitant when you chose that final rug but the muted colors let the green pop out without competition and the natural wood color of the table compliments it perfectly. You did a very very nice job.
Love the redesign of the room! Love that old shelving unit too, and think it would be great to hold some of your plants in front of the window. I have a baker's rack, but yours would be great installed in front of that window to hold your plants. Especially the little starts, and younger plants. Enjoy your new room.
B-E-A-U-teeful !!!! Very calming. Very organized. I would think you will so very much enjoy working in this great workspace you have created for yourself!
Very inspiring update, Jenna, getting up the courage here to tidy and update my own space. Girl you gotta do a refresh on Manny soon, maybe paint her with fabric paint to cover all her lil blotches and give her a new topper, or at least a bigger lampshade. Turn her into a real lamp!
Came across Jenna's videos recently through TH-cam suggestions and now I'm addicted. So enjoyable to watch and I love her catchphrase "bam, bam, turkey, chicken."
finally someone who paints the inside of their cabinets, its soooo much better than literally everyone else who leave the original color inside because "no one's gonna see it" but them everyone sees them and its so ugly
This turned out sooo cute! One idea for the peg board is to paint the board and the accessories all one color so it looks more decor-y? Or the peg board white or neutral and the accessories all one accent color like the same green on your cabinets. Side note: I'm sooo jealous of your brows! Mine are sparse from living thru the 00s lol. Also side note that horse is a wine bottle holder so the horse is drinking lolol
Loved this video so much - so incredibly wholesome (with your husband in this) and fun to watch! Absolutely love the carpet rug that you got; so dang rad and I too wasn't feeling the initial purchase. All in all, this was a groovy vid and appreciate that it was 30 minutes; love the outcome Jenna and love you! Side note - my 2 favorite colors are green and blue (like you) and 3rd would be shades of brown; loved that beige/creme Patagonia pullover you had on and that green and brown sweater is so incredibly beautiful! ^_^
Love the new rug and table/desk, your husband is so very handsome! I forgot what he looked like cause I haven't seen him since the wedding! The room looks great!!
Loved everything except the Renoir print! I was totally expecting an art flip, while keeping the gold frame. Maybe some wall art using your yarn, like a weaving or punch needle for another video? Love you & thanks for the continuous inspiration! You've motivated me to try and sew my own clothes!! ❤️
Love your videos. Saw your wedding dress and just had to watch a ton of your videos. I mostly watched the stuff from 8+ months ago. You sound way different now than you did back then 😅
Such a cute room!!! I recently found your channel and LOVE thrifting!! Is it just me or when she kept making the clipping sound affect i burst out laughing! 😂
The exchange of the rug was great as it definitely says Jenna :) Newish here and love the channel. I thought I subbed back before you got married - anyhow I have now . Love the room makeover it feels more spacious and a more working friendly environment . - Liz
I just finished my craft room makeover on my channel but mine went from dumping ground to craft room so a little more extreme than yours but I love how you have it set up I envy your table! My room isn't big enough for a table that size so I saved a side of a wardrobe to lay over my table when I need a bigger cutting area. YOU have inspired me to get going with my handmade wardrobe so I can't wait to start using my room for it's true purpose :) ps LOVE THE SOCKS!! were they a gift or did you source them yourself? so cute😍
i dont know if you will ever see this message now because it has been months, but i wonder where you got that sweater. i love it so much. did you make it?

Thx this helped me!

As a crochet designer, I felt that in my soul

The new room is so much more open and clean looking!! It looks so gorgeous and still definitely screams “Jenna,” I love the vibes so much 💚💚
I always use a flat screw driver to open paint cans, it works amazing :)
You are a genius, i used a kitchen knife but that would have been waaaaay smarter
Me too.. 😂😂
My favorite part is how you brought everything together in your room, great design. :)
Omg this new room just screams Jenna!! It's soo aesthetic great job!

Love the table/desk and the size. Perfect! Also, love the art grouping over the desk. Very nice.
It's nice to have a handy husband (or partner) that will help you with projects! It's also nice to see him make an appearance in a video ❤️!
I love the green cabinet. I like my supplies hidden behind doors. It all works together so well. The feeling is open and clean. Good job, Jenna!
A piece of wall art made of yarn would be amazing in this room. Also, I love the rug you ended up going with
❤❤❤ I really like your color scheme. I was a little hesitant when you chose that final rug but the muted colors let the green pop out without competition and the natural wood color of the table compliments it perfectly. You did a very very nice job.
You can just use regular s-hooks for your pegboard. I do that with mine ☺️ get white ones or spraypaint to match 😍
The second rug was so much better! Excellent choice!
love when beauty and function collide! great job jenna 😍

B-E-A-U-teeful !!!! Very calming. Very organized. I would think you will so very much enjoy working in this great workspace you have created for yourself!

You could also paint your peg boards for more color!

Hi, Jenna maybe you could paint the peg board white to blend into the wall or paint them cool funky colors ;) I like how you hung the swatches!
Absolutely positively love the new room
It looks amazing Jenna!!!!!!! The benson picture works so so good with the other art work 🤩
I use the same fabric zip up bags for my fabric and yarn stash. They work great!
Looks great! Love the rug, a big desk is essential, and good layout.
It really all came together in the end. Nice job.
You can buy those "S" hooks for your peg boards at a hardware store too. Just so you don't have to wait for ikea. I got mine from princess auto :).

You did an amazing job! I love everything about this room. My favorite section are the green cabinets, such a smart idea.
You did an amazing job. I love the table.
The funny looking HORSE decor was for holding wine or liquor. It makes it look like the horse is drinking from the bottle 😂
I *knew* you needed that other rug!
I just finished my craft room makeover on my channel but mine went from dumping ground to craft room so a little more extreme than yours but I love how you have it set up I envy your table!
