Given that most vehicles are now built with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), I would like to know your take on how the EBD adapts to the increase in brake bias given only one side of the car was upgraded to the bigger rotors, e.g. larger front brake force, stock brake force rear? Will it tend to balance out by easing out brake pressure on the stronger brakes and adding more towards the weaker ones? Thank you!
Not really. Brake bias deals with pressure in the calipers, which still remains the same because were not touching those. And for 99.9% of you out there, all braking is done in a straight line, not at high speed curves in a race track, so everything you read about left right brake force distribution while cornering isn’t applicable
You are just explaining the torque applied, not the true brake power(friction), torque does not affect the friction. The real adavantages from big brake kit usually are, bigger brake increases the torque(better feeling), more mass to dissipate heat so you dont run into overheating or brake fade, usually calipers and rotors with way more braking surface area(so you get more friction).

It makes no difference in the stopping distance if you fit larger discs when you are using the same tyre width🙄. It’s the contact patch between tyre and road that makes the difference in stopping distance.
Bigger rotors with same pistons and pads is stupid unless if you are tracking it for heat dissipation. I don’t think so with that parking lot queen truck. That’s just dumb.

Sir Sid my fortuner 2009V front rotor disc have same diameter with 2015 fortuner but the brake caliper of 2015 model was bigger and brake pads by approx 3/4" Length on each end, now I am planning to upgrade my front caliper assembly with 2015 for a better braking grip..need some tweaking on back plate to install the bigger brake caliper assembly...need your inputs..thanks Sir Sid

Brake dust is caused by the brake pads, not the rotors. I don’t know what the big deal is with brake dust worries in a country where the car wash is a very cheap p50. It’s not as if the owners themselves clean their own cars.
