The 90s had all of the great singers at the same time, it was a little nuts. Vanessa Amorosi, Christina Aguilera, and Beyonce were probably the last great great singers of that generation and that was 99. Mariah, Whitney, Celine, the whole 9 yards. No offense to anyone but todays line up of singers have NOTHING on the 90s girls.
I think this video perfectly shows the massive difference in her technique between the first and second half of the year. Whilst her live singing in the Christmas tour was minimal, she was truly singing for a change. In the first half of the year, even the low to mid vocals were shouty and her voice was incredibly dry in literally all the performances. Now she sounds a bit more relaxed. Hope she keeps this up at least and wishing her the best.
Obviously we can only speculate, but it really feels like Mimi is actually taking steps to improve her voice. Obviously I wish she could gain confidence, but that will probably come when her voice becomes more consistent.
I personally loved the Paris hero performance the most during the whole year, she sounded so delicate yet she was improving alot of great musical choices with great tone quality She cretainly regained The diaphragm support, Fluidity, vibrato, tone quality and confidence back for the most part. She just need her falsetto and upper chest back but Our Queen has been working for new music since the quarantine so i’m just excited for the uncoming album. Thank you for the video beloved lamb ❤️
