The Mustang "used to be" for everyone. I knew a guy in the 90s who was a manager at two bell who bought a brand new GT. He made like $18 an hour and he could get a brand new GT. You can't do that now. GT 5.0s are 50 - 60k now. They're 30k used. No... they aren't for everyone anymore.
That's because jobs haven't kept up with inflation. I don't know what year you knew this guy or exactly which year Mustang he had, but let's assume it's 1995. MSRP for a Mustang GT back then was $20,710. That's equivalent to $42,410.58 today. The MSRP for a brand new Mustang GT is $43,090, barely more than the old Mustang would be in today's money. The guy you knew made $18 hr which is equivalent to $36.86 hr. That's the equivalent of $76,668.80 a year today. This guy you new made more than enough money to do whatever he really wanted to do within reason, and Mustang GT was easily attainable for him. Taco Bell managers today make like $21 hr which is way less than what this guy makes. Back then they would be making the equivalent of $10.25 hr, $21,320 compared to his $37,440. Ford has stayed pretty consistent with their pricing, but jobs have fallen behind with their pay.

Would be a top seller if you priced it so people can actually afford it. That's it that's all.
True but this isn’t just a mustang GT500. Ford made a mustang Supercar. With that your have to expect a Supercar price.

Why does he say Porsche in Ashton Martin?
Shouldn't he be saying Ferrari?
Big names and if you didn’t know, already, Ford has already beat Ferrari in the Le Mans. So there’s a bit of rivalry there that’s probably why he didn’t mention them.
@@Woahxofficial who doesn't know that😄
GM with its C8 Corvette has already put European sports cars on notice.. Especially with the C8 Z06.. It has been like what? 2 yrs now? I want to see this car go head to head with C8 Z06 and the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS. Even both of those cars have less powerful naturally aspirated engines..
The C8 isn’t is GT3 racing. Correct me if I’m wrong
@@Woahxofficial I don't understand your comment. Are you saying "The C8 isn't 'for' GT3 racing"?
I'll take one in ruby red please.
Ohhh that would be a nice color on the gtd.
How did Daytona workout for you ?
The Mustang Won one of the GT3 Series. Who is your favorite?
If it costs over $100,000, it's not for everyone.
Lemans next year 😊
