INGREDIENTS:
4 cups cooked long-grain rice, preferably day-old from the fridge
2 tablespoon oil
8-10 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon soy sauce or seasoning, adjust as needed
salt, to taste

Luto ng lola ko asin lang at garlic. Tapos un rice eh un tutong na kanin. Tapos nilalagyan lang ng lola ko ng kaunting tubig at himay himayin mo. Tuwing minsan sa umaga yan niluluto ng lola ko. Bahaw ba un tawag

i lived in phillippines since 2002~2006, and i remember eating garlic rice in a restaurant with a lake and floating dining rooms on it.

Kailangan po ba na dapat 1day old ang rice pag ginagawang sinangag? Anong klase po yong rice na nag hiwala-hiwalay po?
much better po pag day old rice na naka-fridge. Use long grain rice para mabuhaghag po if newly cooked gagamiting niyo. :)
basmati rice is best for fried rice.
