Here is my story: I got severe side effect (muscle pain all over my body) just a few hours after taking the first pill of 1mg fin. But i persisted on the same dose (1mg daily) to see if i could get any results or my body could adjust. Surprisingly, after a month, i had seen great results where new hair popped out from the complete bald spots on my crown, but my body only got worse with pains everywhere. I convinced myself to endure the side effect bc of the unbelievable outcomes up to the 3rd month. Then i found out the customized dose which is 3mg per week. I switched to that and the side effect got a little bit better but still didnt go away. After 6 months of taking the drug, my joints became weak and i guess i have arthritis, pains were still there. So i decided to quit it. Now after 2 months not taking fin, my body gets much better (still minor side effect notice) but my hair starts falling like crazy. This really stresses me out. Seems like i am a great responder to fin both in results and side effect. Honestly, over the past 8 months with finas (6 on and 2 off), my body has never been "normal" as it used to be. I did gain my confidence back when going out but at the cost of my health. I am now trying other less strong ways like natural dht blockers or topical fin (I can only get 0.1% topical fin and it seems a bit too high concentration so I made myself 0.01% topical one to see how my body reacts, maybe i will increase the concentration in the future). Hopefully they can work for me without side effects. If you are taking the drug and see good results without side effect, you are blessed. Anyone who experiences the same with me or any advice? :(
Took my first pill last night and feel like crap. Dizzy, tired spaced out. Not sure if I will continue. I had a hair transplant on Monday and will try Minoxidil and PRP. Hopefully Stem cell therapy becomes an option in the future because I don't want to do a second transplant
Hey I am not a doctor or your doctor. Just my opinion on what I will do if I were in your situation. Why not start EVEN LOWER till tolerable dose. Maybe start 0.5mg (half tablet) once weekly... titrate up. Maybe 0.5mg once weekly for 2-3 weeks. Then 0.5mg twice weekly for 2-3 weeks. Keep titrating higher till lowest tolerable dose. Some finasteride is better than none. Now if I reacted to even 0.5mg once weekly then I'll just accept the truth unfortunately. However, in the mean time, hopefully the topical formulation works!
Update: I stuck with the Finasteride. After a lot of research I realized that without blocking the mechanicism that is causing us to go bald everything else is pointless. So far so good
I was 23 when I noticed my temples were getting thinner, got on finasteride and have been on it for 15 months. I am 24 almost 25 and my hair has maintained perfectly, very few side effects. Hopefully it stays close to how it is right now for a while.

@@Ascorbicon I've been consistent with 0.5mg daily for 2 years until all of sudden out of nowhere I got sides. Complete ED and libido completely tanked. I knew since the start that my erections had gotten a little weak and i was willing to live with that but not this. I quit immediately. A little over a month now and I feel like I'm 70% cured. Not sure what I'm supposed to do now. I never even notice any changes to my hair while I was on finasteride so that makes me feel like I might need a stronger dose but at the same time I feel like I need to lower my dosage to minimize sides but the lower dosage ain't doing anything for my hair.
@@brokenbutterfly3178 Talk to your doctor about topical finasteride. As long finasteride has held your hair where it is now, it shows it’s at least maintaining. Your side effects sound serious I’d probably try 0.25 mg finasteride 3 times a week to see if I can even tolerate that otherwise topical fin or just do minoxidil/ketoconozale and slow it down but keep in mind you’d still be losing hair
I'm 79 and I have been taking finasteride for several years for an enlarged prostate. 5mg was prescribed but I cut the pills in half and took 2.5mg daily. It reduced the size of my prostate to some extent, from 270 cc to 190 cc which reduced the urinary symptoms enough that I could urinate when needed. My hair has continually slowly gotten thinner. Whether it kept hair from falling out is questionable to me. I'm considering surgery to hopefully eliminate the urinary and defecation issues (the enlarged prostate is causing me to go back and wipe my butt many times after defecating.)with the enlarged prostate and to get off finasteride. The finasteride definitely caused some lowering of libido, some erectile dysfunction, and dried up the ejaculate.
It's possible that by the time you started finasteride (elderly age), the quality of the hair is too poor for finasteride to make any difference. Instead, you just received the side effects from the drug. Just my opinion, but I hope things get better for you regarding your urinary issue.
After delivery, I observed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I chose a wellness-focused strategy. I prioritized my nutrition, eating nutrient-rich foods, specially those high in Protein, Biotin. I exercised daily and practiced meditation for stress management. I avoided styles that pull on my hair and quit using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage. I also started using LittleExtrra Coconion hair oil and shampoo along with a neem wood comb. The result was hair fall control and the return of my confidence.
Can you do a video on finasteride effect on the liver? Particular liver enzymes ALT? This is something that a lot of people don’t reside is raised as you have to have a specific enzyme blood test
Thank you for this video. I found a video that claimed I could grow hair using the juice of a red onion. I tried it because I wanted to see if I could avoid shedding after quitting Finasteride and/or Minoxidil. Without me asking, my barber noted that my hair was growing again and my grey hair regained its color. Another video claimed rosemary oil was superior to onion juice. I got better results from the onion, but I didn't stimulate blood flow to my scalp when using rosemary oil, which could be a factor. Whichever method you use, I wish you good fortune.

Hey Guys ... another great video, as usual. Please respond with your professional opinions on "low dose minoxidil pills" and "nanoxidil tablets." Thanking you in advance for your anticipated reply.
I was taking Finasteride for 9 month (10/10/2022) , great result , no sexual side effects but after 5th month of using fin getting breast sides . when I notice my breast pain and white dot (nipple discharge) front of my nipple I instantly off fin and consult my endocrinologist . he diagnose my breast through ultrasound and found nothing in my breast . My T level , TSH, Prolactin all normal but estrogen little bit higher than normal so he told me maintain your diet , don't worry your high estrogen fixed into the several month . I am still on finasteride. I stop fin for 3 month and start again now my breast pain completely gone but still nipple discharge I think it's due hormonal imbalance .
@@vivekk7854 it depends in many factors, a sedentary guy with weight problems probably will be on the 40s, an active guy with low fat (the most important factor for producing testosterone) could be up to 60 or more, but also his good lifestyle could be saving him more hair than the sedentary guy, just like identical twins losing hair at different rates, hairloss is such a tricky thing.
I think I am mostly bald now on top of my head. I got on Finasteride a year or two ago. I couldn't tell that it was helping and so I stopped. I've been back on it now for a few months. I've really lost most of my hair. I have some Kirkland minoxidil coming tommorow. I've been using Rosemary oil for a couple of weeks on my scalp. First I used olive oil as a carrier oil and then I bought some pumpkin seed oil. I also have some pumpkin seed capsules. I am taking zine, Vit B, Biotin, Saw Palmetto, D3, tamuric, vit C, etc. I'm going to try dermarolling. When Knudsen says it is game over at a point does that mean dermarolling will accomplish nothing? Doesn't the dermarolling regenerate the scalp? Are the hair folicles, or whatever, lost forever? If they are dead and the hair is dead then how could dermarolling work? I've seen a bald guy getting his hair back, maybe not "great" hair, but he was very bald and got some hair back. I have very full hair everywhere but on top of my head. This is a very depressing topic, lots of dread, maybe a cortisol creating topic.
@@madben5042 still taking it, started noticing less hair loss probably around month 4 for me. No side effects in terms of libido, but for me I have noticed that it's a bit easier to lose weight and it feels like I am maybe 5% weaker in the gym.
I completely understand that you guys are the doctors and absolutely know your stuff but one comment made in this video isn't 100% accurate. I took finasteride without minoxidil and it didn't only stop my hairloss, a very significant amount grew back also. So this can vary from person too person as in my case it prevented further hairloss and I regained a decent amount of hair that I'd lost before starting finasteride and still have that hair after 10 years of use at 0.5 mg per day. Everyone is different and further research needs doing as it can cause hair regrowth and not just act too maintain what's left.
Hello Docs, thanks for your valuable advices and clarification, i Have a question in our country we can only find 5 mg finasteride, and i get 1 medecin per week is that effecient . thank you Docs.
Have been on finastride for almost 4 years without any real side effects but the libido issues are there occasionally but it would resolves when u gave a break for a month....all good libido comes to normal....
I know this is not the right video for this comment but it’s the most recent. I have currently been using finasteride for 3 months and some change haven’t noticed any change in my hairline since. However, I am only a Norwood 2.5 so shedding and recession are already minimal to begin with. I haven’t had any problems with it. The question that I had was I take it the same time every day about 70% of the time. The other days I don’t skip it just take it late cause i am unable sometimes. I know everywhere it says take at the same time everyday. But How much of an effect does that really have on the drugs effectiveness. Any other guys here in the same boat?
Hey, i've been on Fin for about 2 years and had some solid results. Still some sign of thinning at the crown, currently using Toppik to cover it up. - I have currently not had any sides with just fin, should I try it with minoxidil? Will there be a slim chance of getting my full set of hair back?
@@Prediculous Have you ever taken a picture of your head after you use Toppik? On the photos I take I can clearly see thinning (if I don't use enough), but from people I've asked IRL, they say the picture and how it looks besides the photo looks nothing alike.

I became a Norwood II around age 25, however I've had no significant progression in my hair loss for the last 12 years. I just got on finasteride. My question is, if I stop finasteride will I go back to the same stabilized hair loss I've had for decades, or will there be a rebound effect and my hair lost will be worse than my hair was when it stabilized?
It doesn't matter what happens since if you don't stop finasteride, you'll keep all your progress... But if you need an answer for your question, when you stop finasteride you become as bald as you should be genetically, so if the hair loss has stalled in the last 12 years then you shouldn't lose much ground. However, if you're going into finasteride with the plan of stopping it, just don't take it. You have to understand it's a commitment

Hi doctor! I am using minoxidil 5% without alcohol 1ml once 24hrs at night and for almost 7 months. I see hair shedding (around 20 hairs everytime) even now as soon as I apply minoxidil on scalp. I have been on finasteride for 3 full years now and stopped taking it cold turkey 1 week ago. It has helped me to maintain my hair, but my body hair and beard hair have been dramatically compromised, as has my muscle mass and erections. I have not had a single case of morning wood since I started finasteride and my semen has been like water and there is less of it. All of these changes, of which I could live with, in order to preserve the hair on my head, doesn't feel worth it anymore to me. I feel like I am less of a man on finasteride. I hate to say goodbye to my hair on my head, but I am not sure it is worth the compromise any longer.
I quit too about 2 weeks ago cause of ed and low libido after being consistent for 2 years. I wonder how long before I start shedding like crazy now that I'm off finasteride
Do you really want that body hair other than the beard? I see that as a total positive. Sure, I wouldn't really want to be completely bare of body hair, but the fact that there are not thick black bushes everywhere is really good.
@@brokenbutterfly3178 This is a HUGE relief to read. I'm 3-4 months into my 1mg oral minox+0.4 oral fines dosage and I have recently (past 1-2 weeks) completely lost all spontaneous erections/morning wood plus I'm now struggling to get or maintain ANY erection at all. I would be very great full to know what could be the effect of stopling finasteride for 3 months, as this video emphasis in consequences only if stopped for about 6 months.
You still get sheds when on finasteride, but the hair will grow back, as long as your taking it you will be fine. What has your side effects been like on your break schedule? I took a 2 week break after my first year amd then skipped it for my 2nd and 3 months later, so 15 months since my last break, I got bad ED so have taken a 3 week break and are pretty much back to normal and will go back on fin again. I was taking 1mg every day though. Will do every other day now. This seems like a constant battle between a high enough dosage to save hair and not too much that it reduces your erecrions and libido.

I doubt that quitting finasteride will, in six months, put you in a position as bad as if you had never even started taking the drug. I took it for 15 years and it worked great. I stopped taking it like six months ago and while I think I've lost a little bit of hair it's nowhere as bad as it would have been if I had never even started in the first place. Where is the proof for such a statement? What studies and hypothesis support such a claim?
As a non-expert, I find Dr. Knudsen's estimate for how quickly you lose hair after stopping fin pretty intriguing! My very first reaction is how can blocking 5ar be the primary method of slowing hairloss if someone after 20 years of blocking dht goes to their genetic baseline after 6 months of quitting fin? Surely it would have serious implications for the actual mechanism of hairloss and imply that a lot of hairloss boils down to age-related follicle sensitivity to androgens as opposed to androgen follicle sensitivity?
Similarly, using Dr. Knudsen's analogy of brushing teeth, I have a hard time believing the mouth of someone who brushes their teeth for 20years and stops for 1 year is the same as someone who doesn't brush their teeth for 21 years.
@@martinthegiraffe7924 The brushing teeth analogy was not linked to the loosing of hair. He just illustrated that if hair is imporant to you, you need to protect it regularly like brushing your teeth.
You are skeptical because you are right. You don’t go to genetic baseline after 6 months or a year. Whatever hair you grow you slowly lose again, but depending on how much thicker and denser your hair got and how sensitive your hair is to dht will determine how long it takes to return to baseline. Could be 6 months, could be 6 years. 14 months after stopping fin my hair has not returned to baseline I’m waaayyyyy above it and my beard fell out too
I agree. I took fin for 15 years. Stopped taking it like 6 months ago. Have I noticed more hair loss than usual? I'm pretty sure I have but it's hard to say. One thing that I'm sure about is that my hairline is still much better than it would have been if I never had started taking fin in the first place. I'm not ruling out going back to propecia but wanted to see if my sex drive improved by quitting. The first months I thought it did, but it was summer and I quit a very stressful job. Now I really can't say I feel much of a difference. My doctor doesn't want me to get back on fin again, but I'm quite sure I will, given the fact that I've really not much to lose except my hair. I don't have any ED either.
Tks very much for your videos and expert opinion. I have recently gone on TRT programme with positive results and been scripted Finasteride 1mg a day as a matter of precaution (eg I have full hair but starting to see some minor hair loss ATM). Any chance of doing a video taking this medication with TRT and how this works or how they effect each other? I'm hearing so many different versions and I really trust you guys. Dave from WA
I don't think you should be worried. TRT is about 80-100mg a week and you'll still be within the normal range. If you were prescribed TRT you're definitely in the normal range, even with TRT

Hello Doctors and thanks for the info. One question: how likely is to experience side effects on finasteride after taking it for 20 years without sides at all? Thanks

Bro I would stay off it, you’re lucky you never developed sides the first time. With repeated use gojng on and off the more likely you are to have the endocrine “crash” into PFS. If you don’t already know how important the role of DHT is in your genitals and brain, you should look it up. And if you do, that’s Russian roulette js. In the case of chemical damage, the hair follicle was destroyed not from DHT but from environmental factors.

Is it possible to wean down on minoxodil every other day for say 1 month then 2 times weekly for a month then 1 weekly then stop, while using fin or dutasteride, and then just keep on using dutasteride and keep the min gains?
It does I was only on fin for 5 months and my body hair and beard hair thinned out quite a bit but once I stopped, my facial hair and body hair started growing like normal again
I started fin when I was 19. I stopped taking it after 15 years or so and I've definitely noticed an increase in chest hair since then. However, even on finasteride that happened, just very, very slowly.
What dosage? Sticking with it or off it? I think I will do 1 mg a week or even 1 mg per two weeks; as I have seen some report results/ or lack of further decline in hair.. Which is really all I want. Keep what I have another year or 2, then off with it. I am almost 32.
I have been on it a couple of weeks and I am experiencing some itching and hives. Is this a mild allergic response and can I push through to develop insensitivity?
I feel that the graph that they drew and the dramatic 6 month escalation of loss to be a bit alarmist- unless it is highly aggressive MPB. If you blocked 5AR for 10 years between 30 and 40, by the time you are 40, it is reasonable to suppose the body's production of DHT will not be the same as it was at 20 or 25 or 30 or 35. The lower rate of DHT production, even though higher than where the person was whilst on Finasteride, along with the amount of hair present just makes that- respectfully- absurd to me. So suppose someone starts Finasteride at 30 whilst at Norwood 2, he comes off at 40, his Free test levels are lower than at 30, but now hes going to jump in 6 months to Norwood 7?
Here is my story:
I got severe side effect (muscle pain all over my body) just a few hours after taking the first pill of 1mg fin.
So far so good
Same here. I got these side effects. Just muscle pain everywhere especially in the legs. I also got the low libido effects too.
Just go bald.
I was 23 when I noticed my temples were getting thinner, got on finasteride and have been on it for 15 months. I am 24 almost 25 and my hair has maintained perfectly, very few side effects. Hopefully it stays close to how it is right now for a while.

Sir, does finasteride affects beard density and growth?

It doesn't matter what happens since if you don't stop finasteride, you'll keep all your progress...

33 year old here. I've started finasteride 4 years ago with the hair transplant I got near my hairline, to help my newly planted grafts. I've actually ended up seeing a lot of improvement in my crown area where I received no hair transplant. I still shed a lot but there's also a lot of regrowth. I have not seen any side effects from finasteride, not including fertility which is not something I am currently monitoring.
I'm 54 and only have very slight receding hairline! I've been on fanasteride for 2 and a half years and it's been brilliant! Good regrowth. But how long should I come off fanasteride in order to have psa test for a prostate check? Great video by the way.
Good question
Bro you are 54

Hello doctor i ask again , i have a question
today i went to lab to test my hormones my (SHBG ,estradiol ,LH ,prolactin were very normal
and my Testosterone was 3.3 ng/ ml and free T was 0.242 nmol/L ) but my ( FSH was 1.22 which is low ) and i am worried about my FSH , could Finasteride and dutesteride make FSH low ? ive been using Fin And Dutesteride for almost 2 years daily
Has it helped you? Did u get thin hair after using fin?
What about PRP and mesotherapy instead of medications?
So, basically when someone asks "are you on steroids?" You say, "No Im on minoxidil & finasteride", right?
No return, unless we decide to face baldness boldly. Correct? 😑
I’ve been taking finasteride for a couple months and my energy levels are horribly low, does anyone else have this issue?
you are lucky if thats your only side
I've been using Finasteride (Proscar) for 10 months and my hair is still falling like crazy and some spots are starting to appear😢😢😢
I'm 19 and after shifting to another city i have experienced severe hair loss i know about finasteride from TH-cam start taking it as 1 mg on alternative days and my hair is being really great in just 3 weeks results are clear i have a plan to shift to natural dht blockers when it will come to planning of marriage and yeah there are some effecta like a slight decrease in libido but i have heard body will eventually adapt to it
Took Finasteride for 8 years. Mild side effects almost unnoticeable but still were there. Now i'm off it and feel much better and more normal. Taking any chemical long term is not good.
Which Norwood now
Any noticeable hairloss? I took fin for years and also dut the past few years. Feel like it completely wiped out my energy, sex drive, gym performance so i recently stopped. Got to the point of not worrying about hairloss and wanting my manhood back
To get an idea of his current hair.. Have you ever played pool? Or went bowling?
I was on finasteride for 14 Months didn’t stop my hair loss completely I added Dutasteride and my hair within 3 months is like day with night ( for better of course )
Where did you get it
Hey guys, I’m 25 and I started taking finasteride about 2 months ago and the results have been great. But I have noticed that I have started to get some hormonal acne which I never had when I was going through puberty. Do you have any advice for me?
do you work out? if not, i would start to work out and combine it with a healthy diet. it could be that your testosteron and estrogen get to close to each other. physical training will increase your testosteron.
I didnt understand the sentence "if you wanna get your wife pregnant, you could stop it" why, whould i want to stop it then?
you'll still get her pregnant, you will just have a son with severely deformed genitals
Have you guys talked about oxygen therapy yet ? The results seem promising but i dont quite understand the science behind it.
Hello Gentlemen, I am taking Finasteride 1mg three times a week. Would increasing the dose to 1mg on alternate days be of benefit?.
I m taking same dose whats your age??

Hello Doctors and thanks for the info. One question: how likely is to experience side effects on finasteride after taking it for 20 years without sides at all? Thanks
If you’ve not experienced any sides for 20 years, I doubt you will.
@@joegoldberg5372 Thanks
I went almost 3 years with no sides and then developed totally numb genitals. Wish someone had told me that was possible. Other doctors have said they have seen a good decade before sides manifesting. 20 years is a long time though. what makes you ask that?
@@austindubois7616 I am experiencing very low semen volume... But since it could be for various reasons I was trying to understand how likely could that be cause of finasteride. I have been drinking a lot lately cause of depression so it could be Couse of this too.. I quit oral finasteride and taking the topical solution with minoxidil. So far my hair look even better and so I am trying to go on like this. My condition has improved a little bit but as I said it could also be because I am trying to quit alcohol. Thanks
@@austindubois7616 given also the fact that I am 41 ... Many things could be the couse and not only for one reason
I have one question. If I start treatment with finasteride it is highly likely to help to stop hair loss. But after using certain period of time, if I stop taking the bill, the balding again starts?
I started taking finastride in 2020. I took it for 2 years and seen some mad improvements on my hair. I haven’t taken it now for about a year and my hair is starting to thin a little again, is there much point in me going back on the drug?
Bro I would stay off it, you’re lucky you never developed sides the first time. With repeated use gojng on and off the more likely you are to have the endocrine “crash” into PFS. If you don’t already know how important the role of DHT is in your genitals and brain, you should look it up. And if you do, that’s Russian roulette js. FWIW I took it for 2.5 years and didn’t get any sides whatsoever until 18 months in. Dick went numb, never came back
I regret stopping. Starting again
I have no doubt dr vikram is very knowledgeable and i really want to hear what the e doctors have to say… but it’s so painful and slow listening to the ah ahh umm ahh. Just edit those parts out please. Not everyone is a great public speaker/video presenter I get it but it would make these videos so much easier to watch
I took finesteride for almost one year and It had no impact on me. I was still shedding and losing hair like crazy. I had a blood test to check if any of my vitamins were low but e everything came back normal. I am not sure what to do now
I'm the same and did analyzes, only I have a slight deficiency in vitamin D
after 10 months
What did you do and what happened to you
@jfkgjhxh656 the only reason it could be that dht levels are too high for finesteride to work. Currently I'm taking saw palmetto, multi vit and hair shedding is less
@@midlands8819 thanks Do you recommend me to use Avodart?
I used finasteride for 9 month and no side effects at all
Can we take finasteride with viagra like Tadalaphil ? If yes, what dosage of both will you recommend
Please reply.
What can you say about the COGNITIVE impairment from finasteride and its long term effects on neurosteroids?
Is it normal to notice hair thinning the first 2 weeks, not shedding but general thinning of almost all hair???
Is it true?
@@belu4933 it's been 9 months and still true, but I am maintaining though so I guess it's fine, I always had super thick hairs so it's not a big deal if the quality goes down a bit
I’m 30 years old with “ethnic hair”, I used expired hair bleach multiple times at 18 years old (a family members was going to cosmetology school and left the bleach around)
I got a hair transplant 2 months ago and despite am using finasteride do not believe I need it… my donor area was amazing and the results already look good
I think in the case of hair loss solely from chemical damage, one does not benefit from finasteride in the same way that someone naturally balding would. In the case of chemical damage, the hair follicle was destroyed not from DHT but from environmental factors.
so should I stop to use Finasteride bevore a hair transplant?
Same question
Started fin at 22 after doing PEDs lost a ton of hair 😂
Now almost 25 and my hair looks better than it did when I was 21. I recommend it if you want to stop. But I’m also on minoxidil since July of last year. Both have been great. 👍
I started finasteride two years and a half ago, i'm 26 years old and i started noticing receding hairline on my temples back when i was 19 it was a pretty slow receding but i could notice that my forehead was getting backwards. I follow you guys since i took the decision to take the pill 2 years ago, your channel is very informative!. Regarding my experience, i first noticed a little of testicule pain at the first month of taking the pill but then it went away and no big shedding on the first months, then my hair fall stopped around the 8-9 month and obviously i couldn't regrowth my temples but i have a good thick hair and no signs of alopecia in my crown area. my hair looks healthy and strong and i can cover my temples pretty well. Pls note i did use minoxidil for only the first two months but i noticed a lot of dandruff and oily hair due to the alochol incipient and i stopped using it. I take 1/4 of the pill every day. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge ❤️
Did your hair become worse before 8-9 month?
I'm your same age and in a very similar situation like yours. How much fin do you take per week?
@@manuelese8760 don't you guys have doctors lol
You may want to try minoxidil that contains propylene glycol (the liquid version). I suffer from eczema, but the liquid minoxidil version does not cause dry skin or dandruff for me.
My story. I was on fin 1year and 2 month then it made my hair more dense and i think i got a hairs back. Then i stopped it slowly 0.5mg to zero for approximately one month and because resupply. Then i started again 0.5mg up to 1mg but at january until this day i lot so much hair and shedding also now. Im askin if it is possible to get it back nearly how it was or did dht make permanent damage for that time period. Hair quality changed and loss a lot.
Is it possible to wean down on minoxodil every other day for say 1 month then 2 times weekly for a month then 1 weekly then stop, while using fin or dutasteride, and then just keep on using dutasteride and keep the min gains?
Could you guys please do a video on Fluridil? Really interested to hear your thoughts on it.
Hi Doctors. I have a question. Given DHT is important for beard growth, will taking finasteride inhibit beard growth because of the lower DHT levels?
It does I was only on fin for 5 months and my body hair and beard hair thinned out quite a bit but once I stopped, my facial hair and body hair started growing like normal again
I started fin when I was 19. I stopped taking it after 15 years or so and I've definitely noticed an increase in chest hair since then. However, even on finasteride that happened, just very, very slowly.
23rd august, took my first dose. Will try to update after 3 months if i find my comment again.
What dosage? Sticking with it or off it? I think I will do 1 mg a week or even 1 mg per two weeks; as I have seen some report results/ or lack of further decline in hair.. Which is really all I want. Keep what I have another year or 2, then off with it. I am almost 32.
Any update after a year now
I have been on it a couple of weeks and I am experiencing some itching and hives. Is this a mild allergic response and can I push through to develop insensitivity?
One question what if you miss a week of taking finasteride? I am still waiting on my prescription to come through the mail.
So basically I'm just about to kick the can down the road?! 😅
Even if there was a cure we would never know about it . There’s big money in the preservation of hair
I lost my hair hahaha that's what happened but this shit is poison. Just being honest.
I stopped for 1 day and my hair fell off completely man what have you done?!
Being 40 and on fin, I can tell you even at 40, you dont want to lose your hair!
