Glad this is top comment. Always wondered how their relationship was cuz I always see him in videos for a while, but he never got too much camera time so I figured they weren’t too close. Dope to hear Adam acknowledge Navo’s help, and then help him out in return. Real genuine guys n a genuine video. Anybody know where he’s from? A friend of mine has one, I am a hair under 6' and with it adjusted as far out as I could get it my knees hit the dashboard and my head was just grazing the headliner. Sweet car but made for tiny frenchmen.
that and the renault 5 gordini best Renaults made, I did fancy a renault williams clio but Williams had nothing to do with it at all.
A remember back in the early 2000s you could pic up a r5 turbo for less the a £1000 for the normal peasant model no the maxi style one lol. now there wanting 14 to 25k 🤣
@@mclarenjohnf1 My friend had an absolute death shed of a clio Williams, still looked cool but no way I would get in it, the seats would move as the floor was so rusty. Hindsight is great think of all the 90's cars that could've been bought for pennies and sold for 5 figures
@@rsturba my mate had a dimma kitted phase 1 clio 16v. (1 step down from the Williams) Was a rapid thing would keep up with ma other mates ep82 starlet that was 210bhp. It Had set of cams with ported and polished head and gsxr carbs. Was dyno'd at 187bhp Back in 2010. Swapped it for a classic wrx with a knocking bottom end And never seen it again.

Pro tip: When removing corks with drill bits allow it to run into the cork instead of drilling out the material. A large deck screw will also work
Nothing like a bunch of cork material in your wine!
pro tip: use a coffee filter to get your cork peices out of your wine. Had to do that one time haha.

luis_frayre21 yeah they can get sideways but that doesn’t mean they’re a good chassis for it, I appreciate the Cressida because they don’t make quality cars like this anymore. I replace door lock actuators and radio units on 2016 Toyota’s all day.. goes to show how much better they were designed back in the 80-90s. I’m predicting that most of the shit Cressida chassis are going to be drift missiles in a few years and the rest that are left will be clean af or in the junk yard which shud raise the value regardless

A little tip we do over in Australia, I've done it a couple of times, tape the handbrake wire to a bare metal part of the headunit

My first car was a 1992 Cressida as well. I had the baby blue with the blue interior. Toyota’s last real rear wheel drive sedan before they had FWD everything . I love these cars.
How I open wine. Drill a wood screw about halfway into the cork and pull it out with a pair of pliers. Always works!!

For your radio you either need to ground that wire to the case of the head unit or hook it up to a toggle switch with power going to it

If your gonna get into this LS game Adam, Holley! They have a plug and play harnesses with a dash and ECU that is self learning. As far as the e brake on the stereo. Run a toggle switch to ground, so when you flip the switch it sends a grounded signal. Than what ever procedure you have to do to turn the screen on just flip the switch instead of pulling the e brake.

Adam a little tip you can by pass the hand break earth american stereos are wired so if the earth for the hand break is there on start up they dont allow play .use the amp turn on to activate a relay to earth the handbrake cable after the stereo has started and it will work .

If you want the screen to work without the hand brake look up alpine micro bypass and that will wire up to the brake wiring off the headunit to bypass the park brake. I have one on my alpine. Works flawlessly.

Adam I have my parking break wired to a switch in my mr2. Super convenient because I have to engage, disengage, and engage handbrake to access some settings, and to watch dvd's. I have an older pioneer and I did some splicing on the ebrake wire to its always pulled and its fine.
ADAM you can get a parking brake bypass for the Alpine head units. It's a PAC Audio Tr1. Its 3 wires that you splice into the head unit wiring harness and makes it super simple.

Hey Adam if you have a wine bottle again and no bottle opener use a torch under where the wrap is on the top of the bottle the heat will expand the top of the bottle and expell the cork.

You can still bypass the parking brake switch on the alpine but its a little more difficult. Theres a small relay type thing you can get to bypass it or use a simple 3 prong switch. Theres a few videos on how to do it
For the Apline head unit you can bypass the hand brake with a bypass from amazon it worked on mine and its the exact same headunit
