As to why foreigners are attracted or drawn to Filipina, you are correct for many. However, your reference to foreign women reveals that you have been perhaps swayed by the opinions of those foreigners you have been exposed to. There is a growing number of expats, drawn to Filipina becasue of a perception that she is submissive, naive, incapable of independent thought. Those expats perhaps have contrasted that to western women, who they consider to be too independent, and insufficiently under control of the man in the relationship. Perception of western women as harridans, gold diggers and overweight usurpers of a man's authority, are largely a reflection of the failure of the man, and the need for control to validate his own inability to raise his own self-esteem, while still nurturing and loving his partner. Add to this a sad economic view that he is the custodian of all he earns, and she is just a burden, or out to take "his" wealth, and you can see the psychological basis for some of those drawn to someone they believe will be subservient. My wish is for all Filipina to find loyal caring partners, that recognise and support equal relationships, whether Pinoy or foreigner, where both nurture and inspire each other, avoiding these power hungry inadequates. I appreciate how Filipina are socialized to be both loving and caring. I also acknowledge that there is an economic reality in many relationships. I rarely have heard what Filipina women need on an emotional scale. I am not talking about obvious things like their men not cheating, being drunkards, and spending too much time with their friends. People like to receive affection in individual ways. Some like to see it in worlds - receiving compliments on appearance. Some prefer to see it in actions - having someone hold the door open for them. Some prefer to see it in gifts (does it need explanation?). Some might prefer the sense of security that a man might offer - they might be satisfied with food on the table and a roof overhead. In my case, I used to prefer a person investing time with me. It didn't matter what we would do as long as we did it together. What can men do to make their ladies life better?

Great video as always! This is off topic but have you ever considered doing a video on STI/STDs in the PH? What are the most common ones, attitudes, how to bring up a discussion with your (future) partner and avoid stigmas, where a couple could get tested, costs involved, and how to handle a situation where it turns out a test returns positive. What people consider an STD. For example here in the US a lot of people are in denial that HSV is an STI ( I think it's likely that those people may have it and want to dismiss it as an issue). Even medical professionals down play it (HSV). The older I get the more I run into this issue. It's a hard issue to deal with when one person has it and the other does not. It's a hard decision to step back. I have tried to think about how my partner would handle the situation if the roles were reversed and base my decision to proceed on that. This topic gets very little attention on the PH vlogs I watch so I am suggesting it to vloggers I watch. Thanks!

I've always stayed away from women who I find extremely attractive to me, who could wrap me around my little finger. That would not be good for me. I like good solid women who want to be with me. And yeah I found Filipinas very exotic but after 18 months of watching Filipinas in videos they seem less exotic to me now. And I started to understand some of the downsides. This has been good for me...reduced the fantasy world I'd created. I feel better able to come to PH and keep my wits. My main reason for going to PH is for the adventure. Not 100% sure I even want to date. I like being on my own. More freedom to do as I please.

Great video as always! This is off topic but have you ever considered doing a video on STI/STDs in the PH? What are the most common ones, attitudes, how to bring up a discussion with your (future) partner and avoid stigmas, where a couple could get tested, costs involved, and how to handle a situation where it turns out a test returns positive. What people consider an STD. For example here in the US a lot of people are in denial that HSV is an STI ( I think it's likely that those people may have it and want to dismiss it as an issue). Even medical professionals down play it (HSV). The older I get the more I run into this issue. It's a hard issue to deal with when one person has it and the other does not. It's a hard decision to step back. I have tried to think about how my partner would handle the situation if the roles were reversed and base my decision to proceed on that. This topic gets very little attention on the PH vlogs I watch so I am suggesting it to vloggers I watch. Thanks!

You will find faithful and unfaithful women and men in every country in the world the Philippines doesn't hold any record of faithful women. Remember there is two sides to every bad relationship. Don't listen to just one side! I can tell you a nightmare story of how Filipina treated her husband .
I know many Pinays, who are not faithful. Pinay's from small villages tend to be more faithful, than the city girls.
I've always stayed away from women who I find extremely attractive to me, who could wrap me around my little finger. That would not be good for me. I like good solid women who want to be with me.
And yeah I found Filipinas very exotic but after 18 months of watching Filipinas in videos they seem less exotic to me now. And I started to understand some of the downsides. This has been good for me...reduced the fantasy world I'd created. I feel better able to come to PH and keep my wits. My main reason for going to PH is for the adventure. Not 100% sure I even want to date. I like being on my own. More freedom to do as I please.

Very very well-said. I noticed that as well lol. A good portion of negative stories that foreign men spread about women from their country often appear to stem from rejection-related anger. Not all of course, but I've definitely noticed that as well.
Western women are great. I am attracted to Pinays because they are exotic, but I love Western women also. I noticed a lot of creepy Western men, over there. They hate Western women because they were losers who could never get a date in the West. It is much easier for them to flash around a few bills, in a poor country, and get dates that way. Not to put down all expats, many are great guys.
