@@jeremygriggs1333 well it’s just like when they came out with electronic logs us old guys had to adjust to those and before long the cameras will be the same way

@SanDmaNTheFreakTrucker i was at a company who installed them like 2yrs after I was there, boss said it's for safety not to invade your privacy, we can't hear if your on a call, 🤔 i get called in the office to go over a few incidents caught on the cam, it said I was on the phone with the phone to my ear, driving to close, and texting, I was on the phone but started my call before I pulled out of the yard, the text part i never had the phone in my hands 🤦♂️ and the driving close the video showed nothing was on front of me, i also heard part of my conversion, yet they said they can't hear the audio 🤦♂️ in glad where I'm at now I don't have that issue
When you are a good, professional driver like you seem to be, the driver facing camera makes you the star of your own reality show. They prove what a professional you really are.
Depends on how sensitive the camera is set to. I've had ones that wouldn't go off for anything short of a hard brake, and I've had ones beep at you for just yawning/drinking
I kept asking myself why the trucking industry sucks, and now I know why. When you have people with the years of experience willing to be spied on, these companies know they can get away with anything.
He said you don't notice them in there after driving a week lmao bs. You just getting comfortable with it. Me I never will be ok with driver facing camera.
@@SikCedd you know they are in there but you just get used to it. Didn’t say I liked it.. I been out here almost 30 years and thru all the technology changes and haven’t liked most of them
Even with only the outward facing camera they could still see your reflection in the windshield
When it comes to a point where I have a AI camera watching me i will leave trucking.

He gets paid to make these videos.
Lytx camera system is in the vehicles i drive... (city bus) but they do stay on when we shut the bus off
I think my 31 year perfect safety record should prove that I don’t need an AI camera to help protect my CDL.
@@TruckingInABlueDream and I agree I will have 30 years in February with no tickets/ Accidents so I get where you are coming from
I don't like them at all that thing does not go off it is a constant loop record... I've been driving since 2000 .
its all good til someone says u shoulda looked right instead of left even tho nothing happened excpt a little too much brake applied ,
Every company is doing this remember when the outward facing camera first came out everybody was crying and whining the same thing
if u gotta hit the brakes and that dip spit bottle is in your hand they will call u in to talk about it
Im Sure
The camera is on 24-7 guarantee
