The main reason for me buying Studio is that I have a Fuji XT3 and was not able to edit or play the HVEC 10 bit files. I had no idea how good 10 bit was until I got the Studio version. Working in Fusion definitely seems smoother now too. Can´t say for sure, but I am enjoying editing again thanks to the upgrade so no regrets here.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah 10bit makes so much difference! And studio makes it way easier to handle haha

I thought the difference with the GPU difference was the Studio version supported MULTIPLE Gpu's.... Free Supports only one... Was that ever the case?

As far as I can see, the studio version will offload more tasks to the GPU resulting in better performance

@@ThatModernDude OK.. was getting to me, as it allows the GPU choice in the free ver... Guess it'd be for things like Fusion ect.. VR content...
But Def know the Studio version Also does support Multiple GPU's
BTW.. I recommend your ch to all mmm mates...
(Audio Guy here... Talking my Mate &business partner .. Yes , you can be both. lol) to sub to your channel

    720p
    1080p
    2K

I am deciding to build new computer for editing, if I am not using studio, should I invest more $ into cpu instead GPU? like Ryzen AMD i9 and Nvida let's say 1080. Thank you for very helpful overview!

Depending on what you use more often.
Simple editing, cutting, masking and 2D stuff then CPU is better.
If you're using Fusion and 3D stuff then GPU.
I would say RAM is more important, 16GB at least to run it smoothly.

@@gqn2 Thanks, RAM is not a big deal, I have 32 GB already. I am trying to balance between Ryzen i7 or i9 and if I have i7 I can have more money for better GPU

Personally if you have the Studio version go the GPU as it will make a world of difference. But if not like you said then cpu

Does anyone know how to export one of the pre-produced lower third graphics for use by another editor? We’ve produced a video on our system and another editor wants to use the same exact graphic for a related video on his system. Thanks~
