something i've noticed in watching various demos and such: the ranged fighters, Aerith and Barret, will still attack even if they aren't in the party, while the melee fighters just stand there
Oh wow! Didn’t notice that. If that is the case, it is best to use Tifa, Cloud and Red then as the first 3 fighters because Aerith and Barret still attacks even if they are not your 3 picks that way they all are doing something right? I will try this out.

A billion times better than having some contrived reason to not be there. Even if it's only for visual-fluff and doesn't impact gameplay, it fixes a huge issue with having limited parties for a narrative.
But they dont do any damage

Is it still possible to fight mid air ? In Remake they would jump in the air and you could attack even with melee character.... That boss was very frustrating for me because I still had Remake controls in mind and Cloud stayed on the ground.
idk but i spent an hour on the boss 😭
Cloud and Tifa can both fight mid air I think. Dash to the enemy by dodging and hold attack....see if that works.
@@sinbycosvi9 for cloud if you use one of his abilities (i don’t remember what it’s called) you can start attacking from the air once it’s done, but that’s the only way i could do it.
@@Kylopenguin Oh, it could be that for Cloud. I don't have the game, but I was watching Maximilian Dood play the demo and he was able to get Tifa fighting mid air a bunch of times. The animation for that was pretty cool - Cloud using the Buster sword to launch her in the air.

I don't know the combat feels too chaotic
I think they want you to play defensively with ranged attacks, magic, and pokes until you can stagger it. More than one enemies makes it chaotic.

It's nice, but tbh Idk how I feel about this being semi-open world (larger zones).
I honestly don't care at all about open world and exploring. I liked how it was in the first game. Large zones but not too big either.

How do you activate that wind slash for Cloud? How that slashing wave goes up and hits the boss while it’s in the air?

How are you able to access this demo? I downloaded this by the time the second part should've been out, but all I see is the opening chapter as an option to play. I don't see a second demo anywhere in the buying section of the game, either.

Man, got my ass handed to me multiple times with that boss.. It doesn't help that for half the fight, Cloud and Red can't hit damn thing. Let me replace Red with Barret!

@@leedouglas2295 if you use Assess ability on the Boss you will see that it is weak vs Lightening spells. Aerith has good magic attack so it is better to cast it with her, plus it can be cast twice with Arcane Ward, also in this Demo “Thundaga” is available which is much more powerful than “Thunder”
I love the gameplay. However, the graphics is worse than ff16 during battle.
i think it looks better. FF16 had so many particle effects I couldn't even see what I was doing....
does Cloud not have a bounty because Shinra doesn't want others to know one of their SOLDIERS defected?

It’s so bad compared to remake.. Camera all over the place, performance mode blurring, can’t hit enemies without many interruptions, combo and limit break cutscenes too fast, can’t see much effects when spells cast, etc.

What makes PC good? Needing 10 different game launchers? Every component of the computer having its own software? Nvidia alone has like 5 programs on my computer. The graphics card drivers shouldn't need their own launcher. Are malware and constant security threats what ps5 is missing? I know, your favorite part must be tweaking all the individual settings for each game to run as best they can on your specific rig. Keeping an eye on temps and monitoring software. The days when windows, your drivers, your launchers, and your games all need updates like wirking through the layers of an onion. PS5 are way more streamlined. So much better if your number one goal is gaming. But I also have a family and a business so I don't have time to tinker with components and customization and updating everything every day like some do just so that I can flex how the components in my Frankenstein are currently giving me x better framerate than console peasants.
Give me a rig that lines anything it ever needs into a single update and just let me play games! Games optimized specifically for my hardware! Press start to play yes please! Give me a PS5 🎉
