@@PhillyBeatzGames yeah man, I can’t put this game down. 18 hours in and I’m only in junon lol story seriously is taking a backseat, all these side activities feed into each other while being fun at the same time 😭 seriously didn’t think the game would be this good, Hamaguchi was right with his quote about being confident in this entry haha sorry I scoffed at it originally
Those who explore a lot will probably find everything, but lots of ppl don't play like that unfortunately. These guides are more for those ppl. I am definitely the type that explores every nook & cranny of every area, so I probably won't need these guides either. But it's nice to have to make sure you didn't miss anything!
@TrvisXXIII That is indeed how it is with most open world games. I end up focusing on side content more than the actual story. Open World games that let you do ALL side content from the jump end up being overwhelming for me. I kind of like it when certain content is blocked off til some story progression is done
Underrated channel. So much information in one video. No unnecessary blah blah blah and gets to the point right away. You just earned a sub. Keep grinding man.
More of a heads up, but you do NOT need to have completed the Under Junon story to access MOST of the east side of Junon. You still cannot get into the Crows Nest but you can get to the abandoned lighthouse area as well as the third Pheonix location before even stepping foot inside Under Junon. The way to do it is follow the East-side peninsula on the west side all the way to the end. You will come across a bunch of stairs that leads to a cache area. From there go into the water and head towards the leaning tanker. On the west side of the tanker, there is a bridge that leads to wellspring. From here, you can take a road that leads to the abandoned lighthouse and eventually a bridge that takes you towards the back-side of the Crows Nest, a hunt, and Pheonix's third location.
Ohh man I thought that entire area was locked until I finish the Junon stories. Welp I'm almost done with it anyway and the boss batles have been fun, a bit difficult but not unbeatable after a few tries (specially the biker guy)
I did all the junon quest before I went to under junon then when had to do the quest from there just has to fast travel there apart from the follow the dog quest because u had to run by foot
You actually can 100% everything for World Intel before unlocking the Crow's Nest. I've done it, you just need to go from the south side of the map and work your way up. I haven't done the boss fight in Junon yet(happy I watched this video to know I need to do that to get into the Crow's Nest so I can finish the QB stuff there!), but I have 100% world intel already. Otherwise, super informative and great video! Thanks for the info!
Thank you so much for the info. It’s great to know that you can explore the entire map. I guess me as a player wouldn’t have thought to approach that from the South. I’m sure a lot of players will be grateful for this comment.
Definitely. I actually ended up heading that way accidentally trying to focus down the Fort Condor stuff. So, I honestly stumbled upon it by accident! Thanks for replying!@@PhillyBeatzGames
Yesss! This is how I plan to play the entire game. It's tough trying to avoid spoilers, but I like doing everything I can before moving on XD@@shadowflare_5797
Coming at it from the south was one of the first things I did lol. I saw that water and thought there had to be something secret over there. 100%ed the area before even headed into Junon
I randomly clicked this video to listen to while I explored Junon. The whole time I was thinking, this dude sounds JUST LIKE PhillyBeatzU. Went to pause the video and sure enough, it's Philly. 😂 Great to see you branching out with other gaming content! Your guides are the best in the business. Subscribed! 👍🏻
Couple questions. Can I eventually get extra copies of the fire and ice materia/lightning and wind materia? Are there other combo materias? Is there one with all four elements?
You can get the final phoenix mission without the crows nest being open. There's a ship with a picture side quest for Snaps the photographer, you can get there with your chocobo and cross the ship, climb some walls and get to it from there. Not an issue because it's worth going through the crows nest region, including the first piano side quest, but if anyone intended missing it you can still complete that.
Come back to this video later. Good luck complete Grasslands! There is a lot to do so take your time. My videos are not going anywhere and there are not going to be any spoilers :)
Holding R1+ the attack option square or triangle also count as synergy attacks and the one with tifa and cloud absolutely melts mindflayers, I realized this while doing the mindflayer in the combat simulator
Literally just left Junon before watching this video. Guess will have to wait until chapter 7 to come back to get certain things. Missed 1 card game since it looked like it was in Upper Junon but it wasn't and could not go back. Did all quests and Intel but missed the Level Up Materia.
I just simply do EVERYTHING. Oh, and you can get every bit of world Intel without unlocking crows nest. But you should still do that side quest anyway because it will give you access to a few more side quests, a few more queen's blood players, and your first piece of sheet music.
I'm afraid to play through this game without knowing any tips like this video was so helpful luckily I'm still at the beginning of the open world section 😂😂
Actually you can do everything around Crows nest without unlocking it. They’re alternate routes to get the phoenix and everything else outside crows nest.
I actually prefer the more structured and non/small open world way of the the Remake. We waste loads of time in Rebirth just looking for stuff in this massive open world areas
Did you already get the answer for the enfeeblement ring? If not, at a certain point in the game everyone is going to be wayyyy too powerful for average enemies, so farming enemy skills, thieving, mugging, and turning them into items becomes such a pain... Well, unless they're all frogs and you have some self control!😂
Queens blood is the most annoying bs about this game dude I love it but I’m hard stuck on chapter 5 because the end of it is gate kept behind a freaking yu gi oh tournament so not fun ……
This game sucks so bad. If you like stupid endless mini games then maybe this game is your jam. Combat is meh, story is meh, open world is meh , you spend 99% of your experience playing this game being slightly annoyed and frustrated..
The thing i do t like is the og you progress with all your stuff the whole time, they just split it up you cant bring your stuff over with a save and you start from scratch again and the changes from remake to rebirth are just annoyingly unnecessary
This might be the first time I don’t need guides or videos like this lol literally exploring everything and found these myself
Honestly the better way to play

Can I just say how absolutely amazing the parade section is now? They REALLY did that scene superbly well from the original

You really ought to make a full guide video for every region, with just a list of all the various stuff you should do and find!

No problem. I was determined to try to do everything before that side quest I don't even know why.

thank you so much !!!, i ask myself how i will get into the village 17:35
You can reach the right side of the map before unlocking the crows nest camp, just swim round and there is a beach
I missed that lvl up materia SMH Thanks for the tip!
Glad I could help!
Great timing, I just reached Junon 😭
Ayeee

Thanks my brother helps a lot.
You can complete the whole Junon area before you can get to town the first time.
Awesome video! Thanks for not spoiling anything either
Always! Spoiler free is my policy
I forked my save after leaving under junon, so now i gotta use my other save to get that level boost materia, and rewatch a couple cutscenes 🙄
“Do not hit yes, you will not be able to return until chapter 7”
WHOOPS
Use the frog ring on both allies with you and fight with cloud to more easily use morph on enemies without teammates killing them
This is a really awesome tip!
Frogs are for players that wants to play with one character, or the closest thing to it
I really cant find the things for the chocobo ranch farmer quest i dont know where the f... The material were....😅

You can power up Phoenix without doing the side quest. Just go to the side.

use the frog ring if you want to fight bosses with 2 or 1 character/s. it's just to increase difficulty like in the first remake
I never actually knew that. Thank you so much for educating me.
You can fight the Mindflayer and access the Phoenix monument without Crow’s Nest…

I think it’s a perfect balance. When the game wants to do main story it gets perfectly linear
Wish I saw I did this just got on the ship
I hate a lot of stuff in this game. That means i love it because i love so much more than i hate. It is a MONSTER OF A GAME. 120 HOURS SO FAR
one dissapointment i had was that the elemental materia doesnt show on the sword outside of battle like it did in remake
Wait what!? It did in the remake??
ye…that was one if my favorite parts
Yeah... You don't need the crows nest to finish phoenix. You can go around.
Sadly u cannot 100% areas after reaching costa del sol, game prevents that and next area form doing everything
