The best thing about Tifa isn't even just that she's hot as hell (holy shit she is), it's that she is loyal to the people she loves above everything. She doesn't get enough credit for the fact that she stayed to watch over Cloud while the world was literally on the verge of destruction. She chose to stay with the person she loved, even though the likelihood of them even waking up to acknowledge her was slim to none. Crazy loyalty.

this is precisely why Tifa and Cloud are right for each other. They have their problems, traumas, and other issues, but they rely on each other and are always there for each other when it matters most. Tifa is loyal to cloud and stays by his side, even after sephiroth's messing with his head and tossing her in that lifestream, cloud was so horrified he couldn't even look at her yet tifa doesn't hold it against him knowing cloud would never do such a thing. even more in this kiss moment, which I was shocked they actually had the guts to put something like that in here, Cloud is the one who makes the first move. Cloud may not have all his head together, but part of the real cloud was in that moment.
@@moomanchu608 honestly, I got a headache. it's so confusing with the ending, if aerith is dead, an illusion, or an alternate one. this whole alternate universe stuff is weird.
I know this is going to sound like a nitpick but I don't think rely is the right word I think they're there for each other but they give each other the space they need and our patient with each other overcoming their trauma at their own pace. Rely is kind of codependent language and I don't think that's what the relationship is.
The relationship between Tifa and Cloud is simply much more natural and intense than that between Cloud and Aerith. It's not that forced. My problem with Aerith is that she always forces herself on Cloud and I hate that. Tifa and Cloud just fit better together and I like how the developers portrayed their relationship and romance. I hope for the developers that they didn't just introduce this thing for one game, but that they can take this relationship with them into the sequel and expand it even further. Maybe something more will happen than just a kiss. 😊 But it would suck if you were able to earn this relationship in Rebirth but then neither Tifa nor Cloud knew anything about it in the sequel.🤨
Cloud and Tifa are very clearly each other's lifelines, and it's so sweet. On the other hand, one can argue that they have a codependent relationship, the whole "your partner should not be your therapist" argument. Yet, with these two, given their circumstances of dealing with existential threats together, and how much they lift each other up, it feels like a healthy relationship.
Romantic relationships are not a beautiful thing. Romance causes a lot of problems in this world. Life is a lot better without romance than it is with it. Romantic love is not special at all. Over half of all women today are single, by choice. Statistics indicate that single women tend to have the highest life expectancy on average.
@@WrenchLord Not just remake, but a large majority of fans have favored Tifa since the OG. Most of us realize that even if Cloud had equal feelings for them, that Aerith is no longer a choice once she's dead. Now if Rebirth, they've made it obvious that Cloud's feelings for them aren't even close to equal and his only true romantic interest is with Tifa. Aerith can never get out of the friend zone no matter how hard she, or the player, tries.

The Cloud x Tifa kiss is a moment I've been waiting for since technically 1997. I was born two months after the game was released. Obviously, I didn't play the game until sometime later in life, but I've waited for this moment like everyone else 😢😄

Tifa has always been able to bring out a side of Cloud that no one else can. That vulnerable, sweet side. He shows concern for her that he doesn't show for anyone else. But more importantly, Tifa can tell which parts of Cloud post-SOLDIER program are him and which are not. Aerith loved Zack Fair, not Cloud Strife. Yes, the new Cloud has parts of Zack in him, but he isn't Zack.
Definitely agree that Cloud x Tifa makes the most sense and is the most natural, but if this were a one-for-one remake with Zack still being totally dead then I’d accept Cloud x Aerith as being canon too. I’d let Cloud view Tifa as like a last remaining family member or close friend since they’ve known each other since childhood (which is why he’s so protective of her), and Aerith being this beautiful bubbly unfamiliar girl who takes Cloud by surprise and makes him fall in love for the first time, and Cloud in turn helps Aerith learn how to love again after losing Zack.
Rebirth at first had me thinking that it was going to be a game where they wanted to flesh out the characters and their relationship with Aerith. What I didn't expect was this game to give us what Cloti fans have been wanting for almost 30 years. A very explicit implication that Cloud & Tifa were meant for each other.
@@aeoligarlic4024 Two and half hours of optional side quests and Aerith shipping Cloud and Tifa. They didn't edit these videos down to the actual romantic moments. They would both be FAR shorter if they did because there are really only a handful of explicit romantic moments, if that many, and all of those are with Tifa. These videos are simply all the times the characters interacted in any way. The only non-optional Aerith scene that is even close to romantic is the dream date part and that A. still ends with Cloud never reciprocating her feelings and putting her in the friend zone and B. Doesn't even happen if you turn off Zack content in the menu.
I was thinking the same too. Aerith is always the one who mentions 'love' but then this scene happened, Cloud was the one who mentioned it. Although he never specifically point out who this 'those we love' mean, ( he could be referring to everyone he cherished in his life or just one person), it is clear that Tifa isn't someone he hated nor Fear. 😉

I always thought I was just seeing things during the 2020 remake and was making hastly conclusions because afaik their relationship was never that strong during the midgar section now here it's taken up another notch with an actual Kiss compared to the og when Tifa wanted to confess but got cut short. Happy to be proven wrong tbh
14:20 What is amusing about this scene, you can see Cloud very subtly relaxing his shoulders as Tifa mentions that Emilio had a girlfriend. You could tell that he was tense out of jealousy for a second based on his very blunt "Yeah?" before she talks about the girlfriend.
Yeah same with the scene at Aeriths house when Barret tells him about the flower dude 😂 Always found this story weird though. I mean the whole idea was that they both are the only ones alive/in eachothers lives from Nibelheim. Now suddenly this Emilio guy gets mentioned and he all of a sudden was af Seventh Heaven. Also why even mention him having a girlfriend and her being stunning? I get that it was a test but you’d have to wonder how much of that story was truthfull.

@@mikev8746 Emilio and her other two chidhood friends left Nebelheim about the same time as Cloud, when he first joined Shinra. This is writtten in Traces of two pasts. So they were already gone, when Niebelheim incident happened. So Emilio living in Midgar is quite possible.

@@TonyKanameKuran I can never decide, sometimes it seems like she's shipping them, or like she's trying to goad Tifa into making a move. And sometimes it seems like she's genuinely interested in Cloud herself. I believe she herself is pretty confused. It's easy to forget that Zack only died about 2 weeks ago and she's still feeling that loss and likely not in the best head space herself. Not to mention all the other crap they have all been through by this point. I think I could argue that none of our characters are doing great in the trauma department. The jumbled mess of her line about different kinds of like at the end sorta bears this out too. As if even she has no idea what her feelings are.

I've seen so many Clerith shippers try making up arguments for why Aerith and Cloud are canon when it's just not the case. Cloud literally wanted to join SOLDIER to be recognized by Tifa and to be there for her, setting in motion the entirety of FF7.
It's possible to have more than one soul mate though..... I agree Tifa was Cloud's first and likely true love, but people are capable of having feelings for more than one person. I think Cloud and Aerith shared a very deep connection and she was very important to his personal development. Obviously in AC Cloud and Tifa end up together but the fact he was so devastated and guilty about Aeriths death also speaks volumes. People act like Cloud is so black and white about his feelings but people are complicated. Real life isn't a Disney movie, I think he loved both of them.

However, something being possible is not proof that the thing is actually happening. It's not proof of anything at all. Speaking of things people need to realize are possible though. There's more than one kind of love. I'd argue Cloud does love Aerith, like a sister.

There is no love triangle in this story, there never was and never will be. Aerith/Outer/Planet and Tifa/Inner/Cloud. There are 2 heroines in this story.
Some people put way too much weight on these songs to be honest, like there's a hidden truth in them. They're intentionally vague in my opinion, the lyrics can apply to multiple people and you're not supposed to read to much into it
Your rehashing have failed miserably, Francine. The song "Loveless" is based solely on Aerith's boyfriend Zack. Cloud made his promise to Tifa and rescue her whenever she's in danger. At the conclusion, it's Tifa's turn to save Cloud from mako poisoning as they dip together in the lifestream.
It's kind of funny that Tifa never noticed that the unnamed grunt was poking his nose into everything, climbing the tower and going into her room. A SINGLE memory of the grunt acting suspicious or weird and the whole illusion would have fallen apart. Mind you, Cloud was only 15 or 16 when he went back to Nibelheim. He wasn't exactly the most social or composed guy, especially back then.
Why you left out Yuffie teasing Cloud about cloning Tifa. Thats kinda crutial scene that Cloud has hots for Tfa, he never shows any such inclination towards Aerith.
Cleriths keep saying Cloud only loves Tifa because Aerith's dead. No, I say the other way round, Cloud can't fully express his love to Tifa because Aerith's dead. Imagine your sister just died, which one do you think makes more sense, banging your gf the day after or shut yourself and mourn? Right, suprise Cloud still has a heart, he learnt compassion after spending time with eveyone, everyone not just Aerith or Tifa.
For two things-- 1) Cloud has mako poisioning in his blood stream, and 2) Sephiroth is using Cloud as his very own puppet. Cloud couldn't accept the reality that his comrade Aerith is killed by his puppetmaster Sephiroth.
Anyone notice that Cloud doesn’t seem to have his past memories of Tifa forgotten? He even remembered the color of the dress👗she wore during their water tower moment.
Oh yea. This is something that is obvious even in the OG game from the very first moment Tifa finds him at the train station. In the scene Cloud doesn't even remember his own name until Tifa says it, but he remembers hers immediately even in the state he is in.

He blames him for the accident and such. The other boys called him dangerous and a menace. In the book there's this interesting line where she gets scared of him for a split second as he approaches her to tell her to meet him at the water tower. I also got the feeling that in that chapter of the book she got a rush out of sneaking behind her father that night to meet a boy at the water tower and that "it was Cloud Strife of all people" as she said. It's definitely the case that her father didn't like him, blamed him for the fall, and tried to keep her away from him. I would assume they both were aware of it, yes. I had never thought of it in the context of that driving her towards him, but you have a point. I feel for her dad though, despite the fact he's unfairly an asshole towards Cloud. Poor man already lost his wife and his baby girl just spent a week in a coma and all the other kids are telling him it's the fault of this distant, aloof boy from next door who doesn't even argue the point. Of course he wanted to keep her away from him. Probably wanted to keep her from leaving the house until she was 25 lol. That man had a hard life. No wonder he snapped when Sephiroth burned the village down.

Usually I'm against reading into things when it comes to the whole FF7 romance angle and whats what, but here maybe just maybe. She's also written to like Chocobo races etc, so that means she likes a rush. Wouldn't be that out of character for her to get a rush out of Cloud and that's one of the reasons she gravitates towards him. 1:41:27 I loved this whole scene and moments. Honestly I’m more of an Aerith and Cloud ship myself but I do admit I love seeing moments between Cloud and Tifa. It might be the voice acting but there’s just this nice vulnerability and softness that seems to come out because like Cloud Tifa also had extreme hardships but they can still find moments to just be in the moment. Also Aeriths voice actor totally killed the song! 😯 holy moly that gave me goosebumps!! That was a moment for sure! I just love what these games have done for so many. I didn’t grow up loving them or playing them but I love being able to connect to them now in my adulthood and find that video games can still tell such amazing touching stories. Video games are just outstanding. Kudos to the entire team seriously. I definitely can’t wait to see more but I’ll always have a bittersweet moment that cloud and Aerith won’t have something. It’s fine 😭
If their arc of what's implied in the Under the Highwind scene was sped up to happen on the mako shores in Mideel after the lifestream memory sequence, then what happened under the Highwind could be something even deeper, like Cloud opening up on his feelings about never knowing his dad but believing his mom the whole time that he was a great man and loved them, leading him to believe that something dreadful had to have happened. Cloud could make a promise not to leave her, and that were he to disappear, it would only be because something happened that he didn't want.
@@aeoligarlic4024 Blantant lie number 1. It's 2 hour to 2.5 hours, if you want to round the numbers off. Trying to round 1 hour and 57 min down to 1 hour is something only a clerith would do. It's also just all their scenes together, not specific romance. I mean, half the Aerith and Cloud scenes are about Tifa, lol. If you boiled it down to just romantic scenes the Tifa video would be about 10 min long and the Aerith video would be 0 minutes long because there is nothing non platonic between Cloud and Aerith in this game, or any other FF7 game.
Honestly the potential romance is the LEAST interesting thing about Cloud, Tifa and Aerith. They bond so god damn well and have such great chemistry and dynamic, they support and build eachother up in different ways. Cloud and Tifa are eachothers "rock". When she saw the dead man at the exact same spot as her father had been found dead by her, she went into chock and hyperventilated and the moment Cloud put his hand on her she, she stopped. When he completly opens up about his mental issues, she doesn't jugde, she doesn't comment, she just encourages him to speak his mind and supports him, even encourages him and tells him he's doing better, when he is freaking out about how he now remembers Zack and had forgotten him. Tifa and Aerith are just so fantastic together, they just get BFF vibes so hard, they click, they love every moment they're together and they get to have their little supportive talks. Aerith invites cloud on the "date" in Kalm and what does she do, she gives him shit for hurting Tifa, eventhough she didn't know what they had been fighting over. And Tifa is so supportive to Aerith, she knew what she was doing in Gongaga, gave her space and the moment she saw she came out of Zacks house, she came running for her to support her. Even joining in on giving Cloud shit for being an ass about Zack. And Aerith and Cloud are great together, she forces him to be social, he always wanted to, but he's so introverted, yet Aerith keeps pushing him into being more social and open to bonding with all the people around him, who clearly care for him. And he is constantly reasuring her whenever she is in doubt and lets her vent, like on the beach when she talks about how she can get scared by her own "evil" thoughts about what she'd imagine she would do to Hojo if she ever got the chance and he just tells her they're just thoughts and she isn't evil. Or how he says he doesn't mind if she want's to take out her anger on him over how she was robbed a "normal" childhood in Nibelheim etc. They're all just fantastic, the potential romance is litterally the least important and least interesting aspect of their relationship with eachother.

I like Aerith since she sacrifice herself for saving the planet and ngl she's fuggin visually attractive. However, someone like Cloud, I suppose, is more of an act-of-service person rather than words, his gestures and expressions are much more honest. Hence, when I watch his interactions with Aerith, honestly she just loves forcing her sweet words on others, and Cloud being an apathic individul he just avoided any emotion conflict. He does care about her ofc since she seems weak and he has crazy hero complex 😂. Even with Tifa who is sooo strong he insists to protect her, moreover a weak one.... Before this, the flower scene also was strong indication how He felt about Tifa. Like I said, he's more of an act-of-service person, ofcourse it's easier to give flower to whom he cares than directly telling her... And lastly here, we see him went for a hug and a kiss before saying out loud he loves her
When I started this game. I was thinking okay I choose Aerith because I prefer their relationship in remake. But in rebirth I think Tifa is really interesting. I’m not Cloti or Clerith. I think Cloud really like both, and it’s depend on us who he will love more. I hope Aerith will be with Zack, because they are alive in different timeline. We know Aerith still have feelings for Zack. You know five years later .. Cloud mind is not in good condition. I think this is not okay for Zack and Tifa. My Heart is broken when Zack know about Aerith feelings. He doesn’t deserve this. My choose for Cloud is definitely Tifa. But next time I choose Aerith for fun. She is not bad person. She just love Zack, and Cloud remind her lover obviously. And she feel Zack is dead. It’s my opinion, I understand someone can choose Aerith, because she is lovely and they have chemistry. But Cloud and Tifa have strong, deep, interesting, hard sometimes relationship. She is like a diamond and deserve happiness (personality)
Re: 'It's up to us who he loves more'; FF7 isn't a pick-your-flavour Persona game where the player chooses the love interest, I think a lot of newcomers have this misconception and are disappointed. It doesn't matter who you choose to be nice to, or not nice to, the story only goes in one direction
Aerith is evidently Zack's number one priority to save the planet now that she's an immortal spirit. She will share the alt timeline with her boy Zack in the conclusion.

I know this is going to sound like a nitpick but I don't think rely is the right word I think they're there for each other but they give each other the space they need and our patient with each other overcoming their trauma at their own pace. Rely is kind of codependent language and I don't think that's what the relationship is.

The relationship between Tifa and Cloud is simply much more natural and intense than that between Cloud and Aerith. It's not that forced. My problem with Aerith is that she always forces herself on Cloud and I hate that.
Tifa and Cloud just fit better together and I like how the developers portrayed their relationship and romance. I hope for the developers that they didn't just introduce this thing for one game, but that they can take this relationship with them into the sequel and expand it even further. Maybe something more will happen than just a kiss. 😊
But it would suck if you were able to earn this relationship in Rebirth but then neither Tifa nor Cloud knew anything about it in the sequel.🤨
Forcing Aerith's feelings at the end of Rebirth made me feel angry. I feel like she betrayed Zack. That makes her death not sad at all.

Cloud and Tifa are very clearly each other's lifelines, and it's so sweet. On the other hand, one can argue that they have a codependent relationship, the whole "your partner should not be your therapist" argument. Yet, with these two, given their circumstances of dealing with existential threats together, and how much they lift each other up, it feels like a healthy relationship.
Romantic relationships are not a beautiful thing. Romance causes a lot of problems in this world. Life is a lot better without romance than it is with it. Romantic love is not special at all.

I know you can technically choose Aerith in both games, but canonically this makes _so_ much more sense. Tifa has always been able to bring out a side of Cloud that no one else can. That vulnerable, sweet side. He shows concern for her that he doesn't show for anyone else.
But more importantly, Tifa can tell which parts of Cloud post-SOLDIER program are him and which are not. Aerith loved Zack Fair, not Cloud Strife. Yes, the new Cloud has parts of Zack in him, but he isn't Zack.
Definitely agree that Cloud x Tifa makes the most sense and is the most natural, but if this were a one-for-one remake with Zack still being totally dead then I’d accept Cloud x Aerith as being canon too. I’d let Cloud view Tifa as like a last remaining family member or close friend since they’ve known each other since childhood (which is why he’s so protective of her), and Aerith being this beautiful bubbly unfamiliar girl who takes Cloud by surprise and makes him fall in love for the first time, and Cloud in turn helps Aerith learn how to love again after losing Zack.
Rebirth at first had me thinking that it was going to be a game where they wanted to flesh out the characters and their relationship with Aerith.
What I didn't expect was this game to give us what Cloti fans have been wanting for almost 30 years. A very explicit implication that Cloud & Tifa were meant for each other.

They would both be FAR shorter if they did because there are really only a handful of explicit romantic moments, if that many, and all of those are with Tifa. These videos are simply all the times the characters interacted in any way. The only non-optional Aerith scene that is even close to romantic is the dream date part and that A. still ends with Cloud never reciprocating her feelings and putting her in the friend zone and B. Doesn't even happen if you turn off Zack content in the menu.

And sometimes it seems like she's genuinely interested in Cloud herself. I believe she herself is pretty confused. It's easy to forget that Zack only died about 2 weeks ago and she's still feeling that loss and likely not in the best head space herself. Not to mention all the other crap they have all been through by this point. I think I could argue that none of our characters are doing great in the trauma department. The jumbled mess of her line about different kinds of like at the end sorta bears this out too. As if even she has no idea what her feelings are.

I agree Tifa was Cloud's first and likely true love, but people are capable of having feelings for more than one person. I think Cloud and Aerith shared a very deep connection and she was very important to his personal development.

Am I reading into it here or is this basically her acknowledging her dad didn't like Cloud and that she/he both knew this? I know in the OG this is a point. He blames him for the accident and such. The other boys called him dangerous and a menace. In the book there's this interesting line where she gets scared of him for a split second as he approaches her to tell her to meet him at the water tower. I also got the feeling that in that chapter of the book she got a rush out of sneaking behind her father that night to meet a boy at the water tower and that "it was Cloud Strife of all people" as she said.

It's definitely the case that her father didn't like him, blamed him for the fall, and tried to keep her away from him. I would assume they both were aware of it, yes. I had never thought of it in the context of that driving her towards him, but you have a point.
I feel for her dad though, despite the fact he's unfairly an asshole towards Cloud. Poor man already lost his wife and his baby girl just spent a week in a coma and all the other kids are telling him it's the fault of this distant, aloof boy from next door who doesn't even argue the point. She's also written to like Chocobo races etc, so that means she likes a rush. Wouldn't be that out of character for her to get a rush out of Cloud and that's one of the reasons she gravitates towards him. One of them atleast, we know there are a couple.

She probably leaned on that too subconsciously. Which segways nicely in how protective Cloud is of her later on. In a way they both encapsulate their early life in Nibelheim towards eachother. Like how Tifa wants to cook for him etc like how his mom did.

1:41:27 I loved this whole scene and moments. Honestly I’m more of an Aerith and Cloud ship myself but I do admit I love seeing moments between Cloud and Tifa. It might be the voice acting but there’s just this nice vulnerability and softness that seems to come out because like Cloud Tifa also had extreme hardships but they can still find moments to just be in the moment. Also Aeriths voice actor totally killed the song! 😯 holy moly that gave me goosebumps!! That was a moment for sure! I just love what these games have done for so many. I didn’t grow up loving them or playing them but I love being able to connect to them now in my adulthood and find that video games can still tell such amazing touching stories. Video games are just outstanding. Kudos to the entire team seriously. I definitely can’t wait to see more but I’ll always have a bittersweet moment that cloud and Aerith won’t have something. If their arc of what's implied in the Under the Highwind scene was sped up to happen on the mako shores in Mideel after the lifestream memory sequence, then what happened under the Highwind could be something even deeper, like Cloud opening up on his feelings about never knowing his dad but believing his mom the whole time that he was a great man and loved them, leading him to believe that something dreadful had to have happened. Cloud could make a promise not to leave her, and that were he to disappear, it would only be because something happened that he didn't want.
The little smile could has on his face when he and tifa held hands while aerith was singing 🥹

@@aeoligarlic4024 Blantant lie number 1. It's 2 hour to 2.5 hours, if you want to round the numbers off. Trying to round 1 hour and 57 min down to 1 hour is something only a clerith would do. It's also just all their scenes together, not specific romance. I mean, half the Aerith and Cloud scenes are about Tifa, lol. If you boiled it down to just romantic scenes the Tifa video would be about 10 min long and the Aerith video would be 0 minutes long because there is nothing non platonic between Cloud and Aerith in this game, or any other FF7 game.
Honestly the potential romance is the LEAST interesting thing about Cloud, Tifa and Aerith. They bond so god damn well and have such great chemistry and dynamic, they support and build eachother up in different ways.
Cloud and Tifa are eachothers "rock". When she saw the dead man at the exact same spot as her father had been found dead by her, she went into chock and hyperventilated and the moment Cloud put his hand on her she, she stopped. When he completly opens up about his mental issues, she doesn't jugde, she doesn't comment, she just encourages him to speak his mind and supports him, even encourages him and tells him he's doing better, when he is freaking out about how he now remembers Zack and had forgotten him.
Tifa and Aerith are just so fantastic together, they just get BFF vibes so hard, they click, they love every moment they're together and they get to have their little supportive talks. Aerith invites cloud on the "date" in Kalm and what does she do, she gives him shit for hurting Tifa, eventhough she didn't know what they had been fighting over. And Tifa is so supportive to Aerith, she knew what she was doing in Gongaga, gave her space and the moment she saw she came out of Zacks house, she came running for her to support her. Even joining in on giving Cloud shit for being an ass about Zack.
And Aerith and Cloud are great together, she forces him to be social, he always wanted to, but he's so introverted, yet Aerith keeps pushing him into being more social and open to bonding with all the people around him, who clearly care for him. And he is constantly reasuring her whenever she is in doubt and lets her vent, like on the beach when she talks about how she can get scared by her own "evil" thoughts about what she'd imagine she would do to Hojo if she ever got the chance and he just tells her they're just thoughts and she isn't evil. Hence, when I watch his interactions with Aerith, honestly she just loves forcing her sweet words on others, and Cloud being an apathic individul he just avoided any emotion conflict. He does care about her ofc since she seems weak and he has crazy hero complex 😂. Even with Tifa who is sooo strong he insists to protect her, moreover a weak one....
Before this, the flower scene also was strong indication how He felt about Tifa. Like I said, he's more of an act-of-service person, ofcourse it's easier to give flower to whom he cares than directly telling her... When I started this game. I was thinking okay I choose Aerith because I prefer their relationship in remake. But in rebirth I think Tifa is really interesting. I’m not Cloti or Clerith. I think Cloud really like both, and it’s depend on us who he will love more. I hope Aerith will be with Zack, because they are alive in different timeline. We know Aerith still have feelings for Zack. You know five years later .. Cloud mind is not in good condition. I think this is not okay for Zack and Tifa. My Heart is broken when Zack know about Aerith feelings. He doesn’t deserve this. My choose for Cloud is definitely Tifa. But next time I choose Aerith for fun. She is not bad person. She just love Zack, and Cloud remind her lover obviously. And she feel Zack is dead. It’s my opinion, I understand someone can choose Aerith, because she is lovely and they have chemistry. But Cloud and Tifa have strong, deep, interesting, hard sometimes relationship. She is like a diamond and deserve happiness (personality)
Re: 'It's up to us who he loves more'; FF7 isn't a pick-your-flavour Persona game where the player chooses the love interest, I think a lot of newcomers have this misconception and are disappointed. It doesn't matter who you choose to be nice to, or not nice to, the story only goes in one direction
