After reviewing the first class cabin I got several comments about doing the economy cabin so here it is. Like many of you I do most of my travel in economy, unless the upgrade gods smile down upon me. Reviewing the economy seat is tricky as I don't like to show peoples faces, the space is smaller, and the features of the seat are limited. Still, I think its good to see what is available.
I just discovered your channel and I love it! Any chance of another walking tour? This time to show your viewers Plumeria Farms 😊......? I would love to see that and I think lots of other people will too.
Great questions, I always carry a light jacket, you never know when they will charge you for blankets nowadays. It wasn't too chilly though and the seats were noticeably firm, I guess since the plane is fairly new. The lower cabin pressure really helps minimize the jetlag for me.
Great review of the new jet unfortunately for me, I fly out of Ontario, ( more convenient for me and avoid LAX ) so I will be on the neo, the first class seat isn't as nice but still comfortable. BTW, can you recommend a nice restaurant for my 40th wedding anniversary in Waikiki next month?
In Waikiki I would recommend Michel's at the Colony Surf, ocean front views, a bit more formal, excellent service. For more casual than House Without A Key at the Halekulani, see if they have live music the night you are planning to go. Happy 40th Anniversary!
I know for the Boston and JFK routes they still do, they are testing/starting this aircraft with the west coast cities before going long haul. I hope they add the full meal as you mention.
To be truthful, Hawaiian Airlines has the most cramped economy seats in the airline. industry. I won’t fly with them again. Maybe after Alaska Airlines takes over their operations it will be better. But I’m not holding my breath.
Not too impressed with the 787-9 I flew extra comfort row 15G …… the 3-3-3 layout is just too tight. I will not fly this 787-9 again. The A330 2-4-2 layout is much more comfortable plane to fly on.

Thank You for the economy class review
Your welcome!
SFO is a great airport

Oh Plumeria Farms on O'ahu? I have read about that place a couple of times and would love to visit. Will keep it in mind for sure!
@@suitesandlobbies Yes, Little Plumeria Farms on O'ahu, that's the one 😊! I hope you get the chance to visit.
What did you think about the cabin temperature and the seats? Heading out PHX-HNL next month and this is the scheduled aircraft! Thank you!

They used to serve a full meal in economy.
