Hi there, thanks for the video ... did you sit on 14 or 15th row? I am asking due to I will have a 14h flight do Tokyo and AA set me on 15th row and I do not know if there is more space for my legs as I saw in Air Canada 787-900. Air Canada 15th row is the first row after premium economy (3 row only with bigger leather seat) and I stretch your legs easily.

As I expected from Marriott, they closed the Club Lounge. I’m sure it was too expensive to operate along with no resort fee

I've flown southwest twice and enjoyed it. I didn't mind the open seating since I was traveling by myself and had early bird check in. I get that with full flights and when there are groups, it can be an issue. I'm a fan for sure.

I can't imagine why you would add an unnecessary stopover on a red-eye flight like this.

No cheeseburger or steaks. Sports bar needed there. Relax. TV

Something's off with your cover picture, the one shown before clicking on video. It's not the Hilo airport. Doesn't match up even if image is flipped. Light plane runway crossing obliquely is missing. No shoreline at right corner of runway.

I stay at both hotels, they both have their likes and dislikes but both are great hotels you can't go wrong with either hotels.

Theres a special place in hell for those who hog chairs all day while they go somewhere else. Just despicable to others

I've never flown Southwest but I know at Delta, particularly in the warmer summer months, the crew will ask passengers to pull the window shades down before deplaning/leaving their seats to help keep the plane cool. Could that be the reason the shades were down or something similar?

They only serve Water and Cran-apple juice on the Inter-island flights now, and defiantly no Alcohol service. To be honest, I prefer Southwest over Hawaiian airlines when going interisland. Such a better hard product and honestly, better gates too

I’ve been to the D and N lounges. I usually choose the Alaska lounge for morning flights due to that pancake printer (and the sausage they offer is also rather solid), and ESPECIALLY if I’m departing the N satellite. I’m a sucker for the rustic, cozy/homey atmosphere offered here.

When the hotels charge $400+ a day per room , it's likely the hotels can afford to pay their employees a living wage. Just guessing.

Hello from Alaska, we are fortunate to be heading to Hawaii again in October (9-16) to celebrate my 50th Bday (girls get-away) staying at Ka La'i...we booked a catamaran for the Friday night fireworks, anything else FUN happening in Waikiki mid October you'd recommend? Love your videos!!

IF I'm on holiday or vacation then I'm there to relax and despite them having the right to picket or protest does not mandate that I have to sacrifice something (peace of mind) for their cause.

The workers get my support. These hotel need to take better care of their employees. They’re the heart and soul of their business. We stayed at the Queen Kapiolani ever year for 12 years because we loved the employees there so much. Some of them became good friends with us and they would send $20 USD to put flowers on my moms grave every single year when she passed away. And that’s been for 20 years now. They are the #1 reason we kept going back to that hotel and believe me when I say, all of these employees work so very hard as all hotel workers do. These are very difficult and demanding jobs.

I support the workers. If I was there I would just clean my own room and go out to eat.
