Oh yum‼️👍🏽🇺🇸 This looks delicious and nutritious. I’d love to eat some right now. As a vegetarian for 7 years, I would also appreciate it as a substitute or accompaniment to falafels in a perfect pita wrap. Nom- Thank you Dahling‼️👸🏽🥣🍽🏆
These were our favourite snacks when we were in Crete last October. Everywhere we had a stop for a refreshment we always order - also to compare where the best ones we got them. The best ones in Maleme and in the old restaurant Zorba we had known for many years at The bay of Stavros outside Chania. I think I will make them during the Christmas for my friends❣️
Wow veggies and cheese 🧀 what a great 👍 awesome combo 😋 may wanna try these for my upcoming holiday of pesach (passover) for the 2 day for Sunday brunch 😋 or during the intermediate days of passover or for Thursday night 🌙 for the last days or even for shavout (festival of weeks) where it is customary to ear a dairy meal 😋 thanx so much for sharing 😀 your recipes sweetie 😀 and for your winning awesome amazing 👏 😀 personality cheers 🍻 👏

I love zucchini meatballs, I too ate them everyday in Greece this past summer..... is there any way we can bake these instead of deep frying them as I don't have a deep fryer?
@Aleria Dean: A sprayed or lightly oiled sheet pan in a 375*/400* oven and some tongs for rotating seems like it would work well. Lots of experimental sampling will be required to achieve perfection…👩🏽🍳😃
Hi Dimitra I follow you and tried some of your recipes and I loved them. My question is I do not fry and your zucchini meatballs looks delicious and I want to make them so can I bake or broil them instead of fry and what temp and how long? Thanks and I also watched all your videos from Crete and loved then and I hope to visit Crete some day!
TY Dimitroula mou for this kolokeftedes recipe! I had this a few months ago at a Greek festival & it was so delicious. I'll be making this soon. Can I prepare them & freeze them?
In English, this means, "don't tell the kids that it's vegetables"... When I was a kid, I thought "melanzane" was a type of chicken, because they knew that if they called it "eggplant", I would throw a fit and refuse to eat.
Dimitra's Dishes Dear Dimitra, just wanted to thank you so much for your help and wonderful recipes❣️Last Saturday I hosted my friends making a great Greek dinner. Almost everything was made following your instructions. We had eliopsomo, spanakopita, fava dip, tzatziki, kolokithokeftedes, lentil tabbouleh, Greek salad, maroulosalata and moussaka❣️Everyone enjoyed so much. You make it look so easy and precise. Just keep up with great work👌
If I was going to air fry them, I would fry the breadcrumbs in oil/butter and cool them. I would then roll the zucchini balls in the breadcrumbs. Well worth trying.
I made them in the air fryer last night and they came out really well. I put them on a high temperature so the breadcrumbs became crispier. Obviously it’s probably not the same as deep frying but overall they were fine
Dimitras- Thank you for this zucchini meatball recipe. Being of Greek background & and vegetarian. We absolutely love these. Christina

@@BeegirlsHoneyHouse thanks so much for the tip.
Looks great .. can I substitute the bread crumbs with almond flour?
Any reason you don’t use flour and prefer breadcrumbs?
Looks delicious! Can't wait to try it!
Hi Dimitra, is there any way you could store these to keep them crispy?
Yummy 😋
Hello from Florida!!
This looks delicious! Do you think that they could be baked rather than fried ? Thanks
The best way to bake them is by forming them into round patties. They are definitely best fried, though. SO tasty!!
They might be good in an air fryer too

Yassas Dimitra, is it possible to bake the patties in the oven?
They taste best fried but, a friend if mine makes them in her air fryer. @tanyavav

Can you do this in an air fryer

Looks amazing yummy 😋😋👍👍🤗🥰🍻🙋♀️
