I am a North Indian, but I have been learning Tamil and I'm able to read Tamil scripts as I deeply respect the language and the Tamil culture. I love listening to the Thevarams. My Sadhguru is a resident of Tamil Nadu as well. Hope we all Indians unite as the common sutra of Dharma binds us all together as one.

We Hindus have to realize that our dharma bi ds is all together to one irrespective of whichever part of the subcontinent we come from... Fighting on the basis of language and region among ourselves is simply walking into the trap laid out by the anti Hindu brigade.. Every INDEGENOUS Indian language has to be equally respected... Just like how we worship every form of Parvati and every avatar of Vishnu with same devotion.. Every indigenous Indian language is different forms of expression of our Ancestors.. 🙏🙏🙏

14:55 there are people like that everywhere in India, I would say the reason is British, that planted this.
As a Malayali, I used to be a person who thought Malayalam and all other Indian languages are not great. But after I learnt more about history of my culture and my country, now I am a proud Malayali, more than that a proud Bharathiyan. Now I am learning other Indian languages.

Dravida ideology want to divide Tamil Nadu people from India, mentally and geographically.. so they and missionaries doing Lord Muruga as Tamil deity..
But no God can bless devotees based on language..
And major temple in Tamil Nadu buld telugu Kshatriya and nayudu.. but dravida ideology trying to hide that for political purposes.. chola , chalukya chola built major temple in North Tamil Nadu.. they are Telugu varmas..
Later vijayanagar built and renovated lot of temples who were nayuds..
There is no dravida ideology.. DMK brainwashing people for political purposes..

Do you know Skanda Purana? Skanda is the name for Murugan in Sanskrit... Now, either name could be older but is there any Murugan Purana? No. Any evidence Murugan gave Tamil? No... So keep your hatred to yourself. Spread love, Tamil and Sanskrit are beautiful... It's the people who's making it look bad for Tamil.

Thank you for presenting this wonderful video. The story of Bharata and everything related to it, has very deep philosophical and scientific meanings. I would like to add the following: We celebrate Navaratra, a dedication of our respect for Nari Shakti. Here is the scientific as well as the philosophical reason why we have such a reverence for Nari Shakti. According to Saivat philosophy Shiva is the creator and is represented by a bindu that is formless or has no attributes. In the philosophy of Gita, he is GUNATIT! Shiva is an unexpressed form or Purusha, and Shakti, the divine feminine principle is his other half, a dynamic presentation of the universe. For those not familiar with the Eastern philosophy, Shakti is also called Maya.
Shakti literally means ENERGY. According to biochemical science we know that we human beings derive energy by metabolizing food through cellular processes. The end stages of this energy formation takes place in subcellular organelles called MITOCHONDRIA. These organelles in human beings are derived from mother only. Father does not contribute mitochondria at the beginning of life. Hence, no matter what we do, it is the feminine Shakti, in the dynamic form in the universe that allows us to enjoy and appreciate the world! This emphasizes our understanding of Shakti which is so ancient! It also tells us that every day is Mother’s Day!
    TED TALK on Mitochondria
    www.ted.com/.../devin_shuman_the_genes.../transcript
Celebrate the power of females and males through the anthropomorphic figure of Shiva with Shankara’s text Soundarya Lahari:
    O Bhagwati
Only if Shiva is conjoined with You can He create,
Without You, O Shakti, He cannot even move
O Mother, Hari, Hara and Brahma worship You
Only because of my virtuous deeds in the past
    Can I salute You 🕉🕉🕉🙏🙏🙏

To all the fellow Tamilians, we people from North respect Tamil and every other language from southern part of India as it has kept the Sanatan culture alive. The hate towards northern language has been due to politics for 60 / 70 years but our bond over our Dharm is much older than anything. Our bond should be stronger and should not fall victims to some petty politics to divide us

Anna, What you've talked about Language is absolutely right. Many Telugu people now a days are showing off in public spaces by speaking English and feeling like they are top of the world. We should learn English as a tool of communication with people of other languages who can't understand Telugu, but not to feel degraded because we speak in Telugu.
Coming to Tamil, it is a decades long brainwashing of Tamilians by Dravidian politicians to earn votes and serve people outside of Bhārat. I hope Tamilians awake to this thread and save their rich heritage.

    POLITE SUGGESTION!!!
Firstly let me make myself clear that I really appreciate your effort and research. I watch almost all Project Shivoham videos as they are really insightful.
But the moment I heard the recitation of the very first verse of Shiva Tandavam I could hear mispronunciation of 5 shabda (if not more) in the single verse only. So I had to rewind and observe carefully if I heard it right.
As I have a decent understanding and love for The Sanskritam, not only this but I have noticed other mispronunciations in this video and other videos too.
So, as a supporter of this channel I firmly believe that these nuances may lead to raise question over the authenticity of the person behind the mic, especially from the audience coming with some pre-cooked anti-thoughts. If not now then going forward, as the channel grows, authenticity will be a big question mark.
So, try to work on pronunciation if possible that will make a positive impact.
Thank you, Love and Peace :)

I really don't under why most Telugu speaking People feel ashamed of speaking their own mother tongue. This needs to be changed. Telugu literature is very Rich. We need to Preserve it.

Thank you so much for the video. My daughter is learning BharataNatyam and this is really useful. By the way I am proud to say that I made her to learn to read and write Telugu even though we are not staying in India. But I feel so sad when I saw children who are not at all learning Telugu in the Telugu states. These so called celebrities act in all Telugu movies and short films but shamelessly say "Oh we can't read Telugu". Very unfortunate. Even politicians are removing Telugu from the government schools. We are at least teaching Telugu to children abroad through the organizations like Manabadi but don't know what the future of Telugu would be after 20 years in the Telugu states.

Love the Video! And to those "Tamilan - da" chest beating, moustache bending Tamilans, shame on you. Sanskrit and Tamil are from India. If you love India you should love both languages! I'm a Tamil speaking Malaysian Indian and I just love Sanskrit, it is more beautiful, complex and complete! Sanskrit is the language of Gods and it should be praised for what it has done to both Sanata and the world! Love Tamil, Love Sanskrit! Hara Hara Mahadeva!

Thanks brother, atleast you pointed out the unneccessary hate that's existing among our culture. "Hate on Samskrutham". Some people should really understand "By degrading something or someone you ain't gonna win a thing" That's not even Dharma. Just like that this "some" people (mostly are half cooked netizens) should understand that whether you claim either Sanskrit or Thamizh is the first, it ain't gonna change the fact that both are from the same God.
The reason why Thamizh ppl are claiming Murugan as "Thamizh Kadavul" because as per Siddha manuscripts and Sangam Literature, we know that Murugan was the Adi Guru of Agasthiyar and Tholkapiyar was a disciple of Agasthiyar Maharishi(Agattiyam) who wrote Tholkapiyam(oldest Thamizh literature). Therefore the claim is nothing much wrong till people claims the God himself as their own based on their biased opinions. I believe this ppl will do some research on their own roots by being more objective. Sarvam Sivamayam.🙏😊
