If you just put the needle in the tire valve, the pressure will equalize with the outside air to the perfect inflation, then you remove the needle. You should never use any pump.

The level of detail is amazing, complete with a landing light and position light! Inflatable tires? That makes the low price even a better deal! 👍👍

A couple days later I recieved email out of stock I asked when new stock would arrive they replied 3 weeks 4 weeks later recieved email order on the way A week later recieve email sending refund for plane no stock no restock timeline Spare prop for a plane i cant get arrived today LOL This is a very unprofesional poorly run company Buyer Beware!
Good news! As an RC Plane enthusiast with a popular TH-cam channel i’ve gotten to know the marketing team at FMS. In Canada they ship a container of planes to BC approx 4 times per year. If the container is delayed… no stock. There are hundreds of Canadians all waiting for the latest container and all with orders…. I’m one of them 😀

Why don't you put cameras on these RC airplanes more often... because they look so cool 😎 flying...put the camera facing forward not backwards... it's like driving in reverse....the ending of this video was pretty cool looking 👍
When you point a camera forward, the prop ruins the view. Best place for a camera to be looking forward would be on the tail section, but that will through many planes out of balance unless they are super large.
Snow already in Canada , we got deep frost here in the UK but it's absolutely freezing, some northern parts have had snow but it's only a matter of time before the hole country gets blanketed, nice airplane .
I have this plane and it will land in 10 ft and take off in three feet. Mods required are replacing the tail wheel assembly with a Klett unit and change the main gear tires to DuBro inflatables. One last item to change is the propeller with a E wood prop made by Vess.
In Canada, you can only buy the FMS planes from one of the following stores: - Great Hobbies - Fair RC - FMS CANADA (you can only select planes listed as SHIPS TO CANADA ONLY) Also, the FMS stock in Canada goes fast, so when this video was made (long ago) the Canadian stock was high, but when gone… it’s gone.
That thing is awesome Cap! I never saw the bigger version so this thing is huge to me. I love the bush pilot look with the balloon tires. Looks like an easy stable bird to fly too. Would this be a good choice for a new flyer? Looks very stable at low speeds.
It also comes in a “ready to fly” version, with receiver, battery and transmitter/everything a true beginner would need to get right up in the air for a great price too!
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 The RTF comes with a very down market mostly non-programmable Flysky radio and receiver. It works but even for a first timer it might pay to get the PNP and the Flysky FS-i6X/iA6B combo or something better in line with the purchaser's finances. 🙂 As to FMS, our SuperEZ v4 purchased several years ago with Stabilizer and floats during a sale has been (and still is) a lovely gentle trainer.
Yes. I’ve been in the RC hobby for over 10 years so setting up a radio and binding to a receiver is simple for me as well as buying batteries and knowing how to set a charger to charge them. If you are a newbie to the RC world then you should begin with a READY TO FLY (RTF) RC plane like the ones I reviewed in my CAPTAIN DRONE BEGINNER RC PLANES video.
Do you ever notice that you get less flight time on your batteries on cold days? I live in MN so wondering if i will need to adjust my flight times in the winter compared to summer. FMS just lowered the price on this plane so now im eyeing it lol.
This is what it says on the FMS WEBSITE: RTF (Ready to Fly) airplanes come with everything you need to fly in the box. A transmitter, receiver, battery, charger, and all other required electronics are included and pre-installed from the factory.

Do not fly this on 4S, the motor can only handle 350W. On 4S it is at 520W. You will burn the motor at some point. The ESC is also very close to the limit on 4S at 38A. And as we know with most foam planes, cooling is not very good. And there fore the ESC will give in at some point if flown on 4S. FMS also states 3S only... It has plenty power on 3S, it is a very nice flyer...
These planes with 40 amp ESCs fly on 4s with no issue (lots of videos of the plane on 4s). But like with all RC cubs, don’t fly on full power for 5 straight minutes on a super hot day.

I do indeed flying RC planes. Something very relaxing about that.
As with big aircraft, use Nitrogen to inflate your tires to combat the cold.

NO, Airplane has only *ONE* wing but not two, only biplane has two wings, also horizontal stabilizer is one, and it's not a tailwing at all!

Yup, that was the dude on RC SAILORS. He crashes often due to simply being in a hurry and not setting up his gear correctly.

In the RC plane hobby you can change the ESC on any RC plane. In addition you can use any receiver you wish.

There was no receiver in my plane… this is why I put my receiver in it.

Yes, simple to fly for a beginner. The only difficulty a beginner would have is figuring out a radio and binding to a receiver.
It also comes in a “ready to fly” version, with receiver, battery and transmitter/everything a true beginner would need to get right up in the air for a great price too!

I use IC3 and the XT60 together without an adapter they fit
You'd have to push really hard & bend plastic slightly to make a Spektrum connector fit in an XT60

What do you use to stick the camera ?
Double sided tape. Surprisingly it holds really well, and removes off the plane nicely, as long as you don't stick the tape on the paint on the plane.

My father had a piper cub. stick controls. Was a fun aircraft to fly.
