Im telling you this controller is amazing. The buttons are microswitches and paired with a mapping software like reWASD will allow for some really good uses. All those buttons are insanely helpful. Mine came with a case and extra thumbsticks and the USB Dongle included (and at the time of this writing I got it this past weekend). So I highly recommend this controller so far.
I am a controller collector, I own maybe 95% of premium controllers. However, Flydigi Apex 2 is my favorite controller, I use it for PC gaming, especially action games. It is perfect for fast pace action games(i.e. Devil May Cry 5). Why? The controller uses micro switch buttons on every button, including triggers. The micro switch buttons is soft to press but at the same time fast actuate.(There is membrane on top of micro switch, that is why the buttons feel so satisfying) . Also there is 8 additional buttons, that maybe useful in all kinds of situations. Some may claim the CON is no Linear triggers(suits for racing games), but I consider it as a PRO because Micro switch triggers instead of Linear triggers has faster actuation time. ****If there is a stick drift problem, one thing to take note it that by Press "Select and Start" for 5 second it allows Flydigi brand controllers to reset itself from stick drifting. **** P.S. My average ms using 2.4ghz dongle is 8ms.
I used a Flydigi Apex 2 for 2 years that Flydigi sent me to test and review. It’s a solid controller. The company actually makes solid stuff. I might be able to look through some old emails and put you in contact with the company if you are interested in getting some of their other controllers. They actually have several other controllers, some for PC specific, a half keyboard, and several mobile specific controllers. I had several they sent me I made videos for a while back. I have one of these. I bought it months ago to play stuff like Everspace 2 and Gothic 3 and V Rising - games that need more buttons than a standard controller, or were designed for M/KB. Mine DID come with the 2.4 Ghz dongle. It works like a champ, but bluetooth not so much. If you get one of these, you must get reWASD as well. They recently added support for the Apex 2 and it changes everything.
Interesting on your “binding to dpad was honorable mention” position. I’ll have to check out the video you referenced there. For me, I like rebinding the important actions to dpad in-game, and then binding back buttons to the dpad. Now you can do all your important actions via the back buttons, and less important actions are now on the face buttons so you can still reach those while moving with the left stick.
Bought the Apex 1 og controller because I wanted to play mobile games and it could map screen presses to buttons on the controller. Ended up using it mainly for games on my pc. Love the 1 version, will get the newer version when my current one dies
It seems they costed down the accessories. The controller used to come with a case, the USB dongle, and replacement thumbsticks. Also, ReWASD has added full support for this, so you don't have to touch the Flydigi software. Also, you can use the face button joystick thing as effectively 12 additional keys (X+left, X+right, etc.). People have used it to, for example, bind a dedicated button for each weapon in doom or bind crouch, prone, stand, and lean all to the B button for games like Arma. If you don't want to mess with the face joystick thing, the FlyDigi Vader 2 is basically the same controller but cheaper without that feature.
This controller is once again listed in the flydigi website, but now all the products they sell redirect directly to amazon, they don’t seem to sell replacement parts such as the spacer for the buttons or thumb sticks
Just received this three days ago. Couldn't believe AK40 Kevin hadn't reviewed it before my purchase since I knew he did the Vader 2. Took a chance. Got it. Love it (using rewasd). booted up the browser... Here's the review. Different braided cable, and mine came with the 2.4G dongle.
Did your unit come with the case and extra sticks as well? Mine did. It seems FlyDigi makes two versions of the packaging, one that comes with all the accessories and one that doesn't. Both seem to be mixed together in the Amazon US inventory. Either someone screwed up or this new costed down version is supposed to replace the existing model and the haven't updated the listing or sold all the old stock yet.
The selling points of the Apex and Apex 2 are: the onscreen mapping (which leads into macros, combos, etc) The adjustability and mapping of any buttons
@DrDaydrinker sorry for the late reply...yes you can. You can safely and effectively remap any and all buttons from the keyboard as well as controller, including macros and turbo. However, I've found that when playing on PC, using REWASD to remap buttons (for either controller) is far easier and faster than flydigi's own UI, which is a bit clunky and weird. REWASD is pricey but worth it in this case. Not 100% certain but I believe most all flydigi controllers are now able to be remapped using REWASD. I own apex 1 & 2 plus Vader 3 pro and they're all good to go

I have an Apex controller. So old it doesn't have a number after it. Is it possible for you to send me the link for the Set up software. FAlidigi Cloud was supposed to have mapped games for the user. I may have been subscription.
Flydigi is a great brand. Regarding the dongle and package. Who ever sales this to you, it's probably used/demo and either forgot to put the stick back in place, lost or else. Apex 3 and Vader 2 PRO are great controllers. Regarding the price. I think everything over 120 - 150 USD is hardly to call cheap. Let's face it - it's a gamepad and that's it. Everything else is upscaled sales and mostly cuz of the brand behind it. The new models are the same price range as the MS's Xbox controllers. I would call the seller, return and refunded if i was you. Package includes: gamepad, phone holder, really cool hard case/bag, wireless dongle, type C cable, instruction manual (really short). So if you get something different - contact your seller.
Just got this one today. Don't know what I'm gonna use it for exactly since most mobile games suck. Maybe for GamePass and Retro Arch if it's still supported for them.
Man this thing really had me interested until I saw the USB polling rate and inconsistency. All those extra buttons would be so good, but I can't deal with high input lag in FPS games. I really hope another company does the two Razer style extra buttons on top as well as the two added face buttons below ABXY on a controller with a better polling rate/lower input lag.

please do a review with apex legends game go with advance setting and try 0 deadzone and 0 responsive curve on some controllers PLEASE i think that will for sure tell you if a controller has stick drift somehow i just find it so difficult seeing so many players playing pro using those settings. How? i dont know so far all cotrollers i have bought give me stick drift but not the nacon pro, or victrix gambit but they have a input delay on thumbsticks which affect my shots. thanks your videos are great
Lack of travel distance on the triggers meant I wouldn't get these. I need deep analogue triggers for racing. I don't like how everybody ruins them. Its an analogue input, why is everybody wasting it for shooting games?
Can someone confirm me if the triggers are regular digital buttons and not analog? I was thinking of buying this but read on reddit a review where it is said they are not analog. I find this useful for racing so if they are not I don't think they suit my needs. Thanks

Should be banned for the tremendous garbage of controller this is. I bought this same one. €90 to realize not to buy Chinese controllers lacking quality control or guarantee of any kind.
That controller is a disaster for android though. Terrible hassle to pair it with their app requiring to go through wifi connection and permissions, without it, you get a basic controller. Impossible to pair with xiaomi or Huawei, only worked with my samsung note 8, it failed with my Samsung tab s2 and xiaomi Pad 4plus as well. Regret I bought this. All controllers use Bluetooth only, and can map it and download pre settled mapping without probkem

The USB dongle is only available if you purchase the combo package with also include extra 2 pair thumb stick with different height and hard case.

Yes. APEX 2 has digital triggers. In combination with reWASD super useful. Anything but racing games.
