My hair was to my collarbone when I met my guy. I wanted long hair but it never seemed to grow. The problem was I was going to get my hair cut in the salon and I got way too many, too short, bad haircuts. He did micro trims for me to remove my split and damaged ends to keep my hair neat and shaped. I was done with the salon. My hair did grow, and it now reaches my elbows. I get hubby to trim my ends every other month to keep my ends neat and clean up any splits. If you want long hair, the salon stylists seem to discourage you and cut more off to frustrate your efforts was my experience.
Thanks for sharing your experience, as a teacher I try hard to pass on the right information so that hairdressers can help their clients reach their goals.
I really enjoyed watching this video. You are a very skilled stylist and it was nice to see how well you sectioned off the hair to accomplish what I see as a perfectly executed cut! Thank you for posting. I’m about to go short for the first time in my life and this have me comfort in how I can do the grow out❤️👍
How do I find more of this models ongoing grow-out videos? The latest!! I really liked the video & trying to do the same but a lil wary of this cut ... Didn't get to see much of the back view when u were done. I don't want a (man's look) on back of my head.. that'd be gross! Could u turn model to see entire cut including back views next time? Excellent video 💯 U totally knew my thoughts, like u were in my head. Lol. Ur an excellent stylist, very knowledgeable 💯 and u know what ur customer wants, their views. U answered a lot of my questions I know how to explain to my NEW stylist. My old stylist didn't agree w/MY wanting to color my OWN hair ... brown/black to more of an Auburn w/hi/lowlights for a new look! YA ONLY LIVE ONCE. WHY NOT! THANKS!
Love they way u handle the short bob. It is very managable for natural wavy hair just like mine. I have a question.. Is it possible for me to send u a pic of my outgrown pixie cut? I have gone to salons to tame them during the period of their growth but it has now gone so out of the original shape . Any suggestions would be of great help
I want my hair long again but I've been trimming it every 3 months I stopped when they told me if you want your hair to grow long trim it every 6 months from a cosmetology student
This is exactly where i am with the transition from a pixie. Your video has been most helpful. Now i know exactly what to say when talking to my stylist LiZ !!! Many thanks ❤🦋
That’s exactly what I saw, she cut a lot of length, that’s wasn’t the intention on the first place but to let it grow and what about that bangs way too short and she want it to let her grow. Nope 👎 She failed what the client stated
Yeah but the hardest part is Finding a hairstylist as willing to do that in that you can trust Net just won't just kick you out of the salon due to how you dinner fire yourself.
I am growing my hair out but due to Covid lockdown my hairdresser can not cut my hair . My layers have just about grown out . I feel so ugly and my hair is dry and stringy . I am now using hair products to improve the quality of my hair . I have 4 more weeks to go and I can’t wait .
I wish you were in London. I always ended crying after a hir cut. The last time was two months ago, pay £120 in a place is suppose to know how to cut curly/wave hair and I ended with a hair looking like a nest =(. Now I am growing it.
I disagree on waiting 10 weeks between. My stylist has helped me throughout multiple grow outs and I prefer to see her every six weeks to keep my hair looking nice and styled. It makes me happy to keep having cute cuts as it grows out. Maybe that makes it slightly longer of a process but I still have gone from pixie to bob in a year with her while having cute hair the whole way vs letting it go for a while and looking bad between cuts.
Yes omg I wish I could post a picture but I have the exact same hair on the sides and in front but my back has basically grown out to a shag. I shaved my head 9 months ago now and it looks so dumb. My mom keeps telling me to just let it grow out but it looks ridiculous. Someone please tell me what I should do lol.
typical… she wants to grow her hair out and you as a stylist just want to cut a significant amount of hair off 😵💫 if you want to let your hair grow out… avoid hair stylists!!! it’s very basic.
The back of the hair looks hideous tbh. Why female barbers never care about learning how to do a proper fade. This would have elevated this haircut dramatically.
The completed layered bob suits her so well. Very modern! Very cute!
This video is definitely advice and the work of an expertise!! Take it. Stop hacking off your hair at home!!

She looks amazing with a shaved head!
Good to know when I decide to grow out my pixie there is a process to it that will look good throughout.
April Singleton absolutely! There should never be a ugly phase in growing out hair if done correctly 💕
That hairstyle is so good. I need that cut. Trying to grow out my pixie
Where was this video when I needed it a year ago! Cant believe I only just found this x

Thank you for this video and your communication of all the stages plus topics like coloring and bang trims was a really nice bonus
Thanks for watching and your kind feedback

I’m happy to hear that you’ve found this video helpful. Happy haircut growing 💫💖
You are such a talented, hair artist, and so fun to watch… Beautiful👌🏽
Thanks Jeni for taking the time to watch and comment 🙏💖💫
I’m in Australia, yet to find a hairdresser than can cut, style and actually care. I think that’s the hardest part 😆
I love this, Lydia looks so cute!!! I wish my hair would do this-- maybe if you were my stylist! Thanks for the tips!
Ugh, why did you cut so much length. I would have just cut the length off the mullet.
That’s exactly what I saw, she cut a lot of length, that’s wasn’t the intention on the first place but to let it grow and what about that bangs way too short and she want it to let her grow. Nope 👎 She failed what the client stated
Had to watch your growth pattern video again! She looks great with both hairstyles!
Miriam Christoph I know! She’s so beautiful that she doesn’t even need hair 😂

Omg it looked so much better before. Why did you set her back months by cutting her bangs short like that. The layers are the opposite of her goal!

She completely cut her hair off again! More than just a trim

I love ur haircut is that a short blunt bob currently growing hair out

Julia Catone get a pro to trim the back a little for you. Or maybe rock the mullet for a while 🤘🏻
Very good advice and nice haircut
Your advice is sound....as long as you have a stylist that knows as much as you do.
I want the stylists hair I love that bob.
your hair is so stunning
IM SO OBSESSED!

Becky Walker your very welcome, I hope you enjoyed 😊
Beautiful
Omg sooo cute
"Doesn't want a shag" 🤣 Don't say that in the UK hairdressers!
she has a very low neck hairline though...

It would be nice to see the back of her hair.
