Nice to see another video of your trip. Curious why you choose hwy 54 to go south instead of I-25? Was it charger availability or other reason?
Rob 25, I 25 currently does not have good charging on it on the south part of the route. It should be fixed soon as there are more CCS chargers being added every day on that route. Having said that on this day, there were two other problems on I25 there were very high winds and quite a bit of smoke from a large wildfire in NM. On Hwy 54 we should have been able to go directly to El Paso with just the one stop in Carrizozo, but Carol's range anxiety and the wind caused us to do the extra stop Santa Rosa. I actually like deserted 2 lane highways better than the busier 4 lane highways. Thanks for watching.

That's a good idea, I'll see if I can identify the towns from the video. Not all towns and cities have signs saying entering Timbuktu, population 67, but I'll do my best on the next one. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.
Hi Cam, from minute 25:12 to the end, those are all shots of El Paso. Have lived here since 1979.
Focus on the percentage with EVs it helps lesson the range anxiety, anyway another nice video of your journey!
We personally no longer suffer from any kind of real range anxiety.

When you guys are charging in a hot climate, do you first initiate charge and then turn on the car completely to have air conditioning on? Or can you just click the start button to get the AC going without brake + start. Thank you!
We start the charging first.
No high speed chargers 30-70 amp. If Tesla ever opens to everyone, there are 6 in Entiat.
Which package do u have, rear wheel dr or all wheel drive ?
