    Looks good! For those who don't know why the sugar is added, it cuts the acidity of the tomatoes. I've done a similar sauce using ground turkey with the sweet Italian sausage and added Montreal steak seasoning and a little bit of chicken stock. VERY RICH! Thanks for sharing.

    My friend, i am italiano and this has absolutely nothing to do with a meat sauce for spaghetti. The sauce has to be cooked before the pasta, onion has to be fried before the meat with some oil and you don't need all that sugar.
    If you like it, anyway, enjoy.

      First of all Spaghetti is not the name of the dish it’s only the type of pasta used in the dish. 2nd what many call meat sauce is supposed to be Bolognese Sauce and it’s not served over spaghetti pasta because spaghetti is too thin. 3rd Bolognese sauce is very rich and takes 4-5 hrs to slowly simmer and it’s served over a thick pasta like Parpadelle. 4rth the process in this video is no where near how to cook Bolognese sauce. This what you call Sghetti which can be tasty on its own but no this guy has no idea how to prepare real Italian Food.

    This man can cook!

    • @RichInMedford
      @RichInMedford 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Neeraj I've based my comment on many of the videos he's posted--not this one alone. Besides, how many people do you know who make their own spaghetti sauce? I live in a remote area where I have a large garden. I make my own sauce and it is an all day process--not practical for an online demonstration.
      This man is doing a good job. Why so negative? I guess that's just some people's style.

    The same way I fix mine's, For the hater's they don't no how to cook, sugar give it a very good taste, keep it from being so tangy tasting.

      Gwendolyn Forest i agree i put just a little bit of sugar in my sauce too makes it even better and balances out the acidity too

  • @inzaiyne
    @inzaiyne 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    instead of sugar you can also use a condensed milk to let it taste a little bit sweet and creamy

    Ive never been one to like my spaghetti mixed with the sauce. To soup like for me. I like my spaghetti firm and aldente. And i place it ina tupperware mixed with basil and sprinkle parmesean cheese. When i fry the meat i use minced garlic and crushed pepper and oregano. And for the sauce i use cilantro and sugar. Sugar cuts the salty taste and cilantro give it a lil spanish flavorrr :-). U can also add a bag of california blend veggies to make it more of a meal which consist of carrots, brocc, califlower

    You have big hands like me and the best way to break spaghetti in half is to turn one palm down and the other palm up when grasping the pasta. Much easier. Love your videos.

    I found a new trick, When I make a homemade pasta sauce, I found out by adding a little Pizza sauce makes all the difference in the world, small jars of Pizza sauce can be found at mostly all food stores.
