Philly boy Jay u don't know this but u taught me everything I know when it comes to cooking 👩🍳 my family been enjoying ur recipes for years 😊thanks for everything ❤
I just spent 40 minutes looking for baked ziti recipes. They all had similar steps but i could tell that the flavor would be just ok. But after seeing your recipes!!!!! I know its what was missing. This looks amazing. Running to grocery store now to make this for dinner tonight. Been seeing your recipes for years. But this one made me a subscriber. Sorry i slept for so long.
I brought this to Christmas Eve dinner for my family and it was AMAZING!! You impressed a family full of Sicilians and made them think I know how to cook 😂
Oh man, you were not lying about this being the best. I had never made baked ziti before, but I used this video to learn how and made it for my parents and sister tonight. We all LOVED it. The leftovers were being squabbled over, it was that big a hit! My dad said it was better than Olive Garden. Thank you for an awesome recipe.
"the best! i said the best!" i watch your video for the good recepies BUT the second reason why i watch your videos is because of that statement lol #thebest
I know right . I used spicy and sweet italian sausage and I followed the rest of the recipe. My family loved it . No more Olive Garden for us.You killed it Philly Boy J!
Omggg I'm doing ground turkey & spicy turkey italian sausage as well... But wanna make it for Thanksgiving but didn't test it 1st 😩... Is it really a HIT????

it is true....Best Baked Ziti Recipe Ever! Made this twice and everyone loved it both times! I used hot Italian sausage, and fire roasted diced tomatoes the second time and it was a hit! Thanks Philly boy j!
This was so, so, so good!!! Your tip about adding sour cream to the ricotta was genius. It added a really creamy, delicious dimension that you usually don't get in regular ricotta mixtures. Loved this so much!!!
This is an excellent recipe! We made it for a very special occasion without having tried it first or ever having made baked ziti before, but I cook every day and it seemed like a good recipe. We tripled the recipe and only needed about 2 tsp salt total because the parmesan was salty enough for us. That was just our preference, and I reduce salt in almost recipe. I was concerned that there wasn't going to be enough garlic flavor, but it was good (we used jarred minced)! Everyone raved about this ziti! I'm planning on sharing the recipe with some of the guests and making it again for us at home. Thank you for posting this! Edit to add: We skipped the diced tomatoes for a couple of reasons, and it was fine. We were already time-constrained and didn't want to open to giant can we had for the small amount. The sauce we used (Aldi's Priano Tomato Basil w/green label & lid) already had tomato chunks in it, so it was good. We did make the two small changes, but nothing would have changed the flavor just the saltiness, which is a personal preference and was the right choice in our case.
That's Actually A Really Good Idea To Coat Your Noodles In The Ricotta Mixture. I Think It Evenly Dispustes It, Instead Of Clumps Of Cheese Never Thought About That.
