You are so amazing for using cruelty free brushes. Sometimes I feel like everyone prefers real animal hair and I don’t buy those. You show me that you can be an amazing artist and not use real hair. I appreciate your channel so much for everything I learn from you and all the inspiration. Thank you!
I have a full set of silver black velvet brushes I love them and a bunch of Chinese calligraphy brushes, they hold so much paint and or water they’re incredible, real hairs, wolf, pony tail , and squirell
If I had it to do again, I would have just the full set of silver black velvet and a couple of dagger brushes and call it good for watercolor! Do you use the Chinese calligraphy brushes for watercolor or something else (like acrylic)?
Oh MY! a lot of great supplies! I have the same brush holder with the spring. I will say acrylics are even harder on brushes than oils! I recommend that you buy some Masters Brush Soap. It cleans and conditions your brushes and it will keep them working for many years if you stay consistent in your cleaning regimen, and if you don't you can rescue some mistreated brushes that otherwise might just go in the trash! good luck and I hope the swatching session goes great!

I purchase from favourite artists on Redbubble fairly often, including mugs and other breakables but have never had an issue with anything. It all comes very well packaged. Dare I imply your mail system may be broken? Very curious to see you swatch (edited that word) the Blick Matt acrylics- what an incredible price! Sadly, Blicks do not exist in the UK or Europe for that matter. I haven’t seen anything similar here (excluding the super expensive brands you mentioned). I’m tempted to hunt around, but NO! I must learn some restraint - a bit late, but it’s the thought that counts. What delights will your sister indulge in for her identical birthday you managed to derail as a kid? I am a member of the SAA (Society for All Artists), and as well as getting free delivery, they have a price match in place. I love it, but it’s a little too easy. As well as having every art supply you can imagine, they also have professional artist tutorials, competitions, a bi-monthly magazine called Paint, as well as regular offers. There own brand of paints are as good as the likes of Sennelier and similar bing names. The cost of this? £45 per annum! Also when you initially join, you get art supplies (it changes regularly) as a free gift, basically the cost of the supplies has a value just short of the joining fee. The ship internationally too. There are many high profile international members. If you want to take a look, I can send you a link, giving you an extra gift on top of the usual, and me too 🥰 Seriously, this is why I could open my shop art supply shop with my addiction.

I enjoy your videos very much and this haul was great. But I must say the music is very distracting for me. You are talking all the time (which I like) so there is no need for music. Just my opinion.

I think it was quite a bit louder in the upload than it was in my editing software-I had it on volume level 5/100 so I thought it would be just enough to cover up low level mouth noises (audible swallowing etc), but instead it’s like a main character in this!!
