Had to pause four minutes in and comment. Well done, love how you jump into specific detailed breakdown of the existing harness and it’s functionality. This helps so much given most vids are specific to the new mod or item installed, whereas I’m reverse engineering my own setup to do fresh rewire. Being able to confirm my ideas and understanding with your video is great. Thanks 🙏🏽

I found this video just in time I have a 90 SS454 I’m going to install a 4l80e transmission with a USShift controller and keeping the big block but using a Holley Sniper fuel injection setup for fuel and ignition this definitely gave me a direction to go excellent videos

I just finished up redoing my 1994 wiring harness with the help of this video. Thank you for posting this.
I’m down to Vehicle Speed Sensor to run my factory speedometer.
I’m not using the 4L60E wanting to use the 10L90
Or 6R80. Either way I’m not seeing a straight forward solution for keeping the factory speedometer.

The 88-94 obs main wiring bulkhead has teeth and GM monkey snot inside. I just heated it with a propane torch, pull it apart and remove all the wires. Then I die grind out all the teeth and monkey snot of bulkhead and reuse the wiring bulkhead to pass new wires from engine compartment to the cab.

I want to swap my 1190 C150 obs with a 5.3 with 4L60E trans, why don't you do a video #2 with the stand alone harness with all the connection to the obs wiring...

I have a 94 regular cab with a 4.3 v6, I want to do a gen v l83 swap. Is there any difference I should know about as far as the v6 goes? Thanks

How about all the a/c functions? Or they just need power from that big red wire?

    Hey I’m having some issues
I have the blue wire coming out of my starter loom that’s supposed to be the knock sensor harness right
And then I have a smaller grey wire with the same exact connector as the knock sensor
Any clue what that might be?
