far out i can't believe the west coast is still restricted. despite some wind, at least the lack of swell made it a mint day for fishing. that pipe cutter did a good job cutting up the frozen bait haha

He swiftly gold told to Fuck off and not in a nice way lol... Wtf was he thinking. that part of the manukau is no joke..

Regret getting a PEN slammer.... but only cause now I'll never be happy with anything less....lol. I'm running 50lb braid as thats what it came spooled with, but have also used rovex 30lb mono which isn't bad. Reel smooth...
We use a range of gear and I often mix and match to adapt to different locations. 8-14 foot with a reel that suits depending on target species and method.

was at whatipu light house on Saturday night fishing... tides comes right in ,sand dropped lower after the storm..
The sand movement out there never ceases to amaze me. Some good fish being taken out there too I've heard.
