- Sorry... been out of action for a while with a damaged back and once again my main Gopro leaked underwater and craped out resulting in a lot less footage and putting into question the continuation of this channel...
Anyway this is the better moments from numerous trips towards the end of winter for 2023, fishing multiple spots within the greater Auckland region of New Zealand. Hope all is well...

Yes that is correct , it was at Tara and I really enjoyed having a chat with you . I think you do the best videos and like you said on the beach you do the hard yards and put in the hours and that is why you get the results you do . Fingers crossed more inspirational videos still to come 🙂

Yeah 2nd one to leak after a prolonged time in the water. Would recommend the dive housing for future use. Got 2 years out of it but wasn't impressed when it died....lol

That's no good mate. That's why your always seated at the back of the boat aye. Let the bow man take the pounding 🤣. Back pain sux alright. Mine recently hit that next level. Crippled me for several weeks. Degenerative... so can only manage it well. Hope alls good down there... water will be warming....
@@DarkmoonAngler yeah man. I would lay down until I got a bite most of the time. I havnt been in the boat for ages because of my back. Yeah waters warming up but it's just ruthless wind here for over a month now. I know how it feels. I find relief in walking alot but it's really hard going. Hoping all this walking pays off. Hopefully things take a turn for the better for both of us. 🤞
@@dwhatsfishing 🤞 yeah walking helps.... just not over rocks. Wellington Spring winds. That is one thing I'm glad not to have to deal with....lol.

Any idea what the corpse was? Looks like a dorsal fin at least..
Idea was that it was a Great white that had fins and head cut off... But who knows... Smell was that of 100 rotten corpses.. Lol
whatever it was had the tail, fins, and head removed with an edged blade. the body looked to have been discarded and later feed upon. Seemed to have been a large dorsal fin removed so I'd guess a very big shark or even a whale shark. maybe even an Orca.
