Yes, people actually do listen to Eurovision songs on music streaming platforms, so we do have quite reliable numbers when it comes to song’s success as an audio format only. However, Eurovision is a performance and song writing competition, being that the songs must be original compositions and they must be performed live. Luka composed and performed this spectacularly, and people genuinely love it as a song but also for embracing this unique Eurovision’s perspective of walking the fine line between madness and genius that we all love and are drawn to since our childhoods. If the competition is based on the original song and performance, why do some performers on Eurovision lip sync their songs?

@@JenniferTakes in the 65+ years long history of Eurovision there hasn’t been a single lipsync performance. Please have enough respect and decency to get a basic education on the fundamentals of Eurovision before filming your opinions.
I don't know it to be a fact. It is my opinion. Some performance sound exactly like what you hear on music streaming platforms. Plus, sometimes the face and voice don't match up with what we her. So in my opinion, some artists sing over their recorded track.
