Truth! He didn't have to go that hard, but he did and we are all better for it! He nailed the Monday Night Football vibe completely with this epic opening!
Agreed. It makes me so sad, to think how much hard rock'n roll he could have done. He has the perfect voice for it. We are really missing out, on what he could have made.
I saw this in theaters when I was in the 11 grade... the theater was clapping and screaming in the opening credits... the movie had barely started LOL - I miss the old school theatrical experience!!!
Gonna miss Bruce Willis Sanchez retired from acting but he has played some the coolest high-quality action films, he is the most underrated action stars there ever was. THANK YOU BRUCE WILLIS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT AND CHILDHOOD
@@BubbaDank eh, not Wokeywood... It's more like Corrupt-a-fornia. Bipartisan viewer here. And Speaking of this film's distributor, Warner Brothers... They need to get David Zaslav out of office.
Even though there was a lot of behind the scenes drama to the point that Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans weren't even on set together because they didn't get along and stand-ins and doubles were used, this movie was a hilarious action comedy thriller. It looks like Bruce just rolled out of bed every day and just went to the set.
True to that my friend. The humor was great as well. Fit Bruce Willis an Damon Wynes how they both had struggling issues but came out almost clean on the other side.
Well yeah, In Australia, the Nine Network and the National Rugby League did Friday Night Football back in the mid to late 90s, the intro, promos and graphics are similar to MNF's, but, Billy Thorpe performs a really amazing cover of this song as the Friday Night Football theme.
this song captures the atmosphere of a friday evening with with friends watching football in the late 80s so perfectly. I wish I was american when hearing this :D
"Why is there a fuckin' injury report in pro football, huh? Nobody else has one. I'll tell you why, it's the gamblers will have a fuckin' accurate spread! Can't you see those fuckin' hypocrites took away my fuckin' life?!" "When you're done feelin' sorry for yourself, the front door's that way." Such a great script.
You know what? Had Just the Ten of Us gone on a couple more seasons, this could've been played as Coach Lubbock witnesses a game in action. After all, Medley sang their theme music.

Amazon should revive this song and change the lyrics to Thursday night for it's NFL package. I mean, I can picture Kenny Chesney or George Strait singing this.
The movie is unhinged. everyone suffers from always on the same page syndrome unless the script calls for misunderstanding the acting swings as wide as it can from roles made for these actors to cast disaster and the plot is constantly trying to buck you from staying engaged, hell Damon throws out a line like "it's weird you're avenging your friend who cucked you for money you won't see anymore" long after you've already given into the fact the rest of the movie is great enough to cover for any nitpicks. My favourate line is "I wanna meet the bitch that fucked you up."
@@BMovieMadnessRadio can you even loop this for an hour? I would rather this for MNF rather than Hank Williams, Jr.
Super hard, man. Lol I appreciate it and I can't stand sports.
80’s and 90’s were definitely the time for movie songs and music.

When this song start you just Know you are in for a fun time. This is a great movie. This is the good Die Hard 5 🙂
It's more Lethal Weapon than Die Hard i'd say, something a fusion of the 2.

One of the best action movies of all time, even better than die hard.
This and die hard 3 are quintessential 90s buddy cop action movies for sure. Wouldn’t say this one is better, but it sure is damn good!
The jokes were great. But most funny, the Name of the heros. Josef Cornelius Hellenbeck and James Alexander Dix.
Sounds like something straight out of a late-80s sitcom.
It was from an early-90s movie ... hence why Bruce Willis has hair in the picture
This was inspired by Hank Williams Jr.'s MNF theme.
