@@JoeyBergles Yes, that would be so helpful. I used your tips and they helped me in my sport: tennis 🎾. Thank you for giving me the information that I couldn’t find anywhere on the internet easily. You’re the best athlete coach!
Hi Coach Bergles Can we use this with beach volleyball players? I am asking because of the surface in which beach volleyball players are in. Thank you for your amazing content
Yes - you’d probably want to make some modifications if you were doing the jumps on actual sand - but doing everything here in training would be very helpful for beach volleyball players looking to improve their jumping ability.
How Many reps and sets should you do of each exercise? Im also wondering if i should do this as an handballplayer? i also want to fit this into my workout i do push pull legs and tvo running days per week it depends
Generally I’d be doing some joint work before this, some low level upping and dynamic warm-up. I’ve posted a lot of the mobility stuff I do on here, that would be the type of joint work I’d be doing to prep
It’s more about the volumes covered which can vary based around the age and ability of the athletes. I’d say generally for an acceleration focused session 150-250 yards is a good range to be in

Yes it would be good for a handball player. The number of sets/reps performed will vary based around the specific training program and all of the other variables present - 2-5 sets would be a generic recommendation

Always straight to the point! Love it!

How do you and/or what should you do warmup wise before doing these? Also how many sets do you do? Want to prevent injury.
