- I hope you enjoy this recording of Georg Friedrich Händel's wonderful Hallelujah Chorus from 'Messiah', played on the huge 129-rank Möller Organ of National City Christian Church in Washington DC - one of the largest instruments I got to play on this concert tour to the US. This organ features Chamdes/Spanish Trumpets as well as a 64' stop!

This guy had me cheering, wonderfully done
I belonged to this church when I lived in Washington. I never heard this organ played better than this. Thanks.
So wonderful to see a young person so accomplished at playing this amazing instrument!
Thank you so much!!
Played with passion and ease, Fantastic. 👋👌👍🙏🙏
I got to sing this when i was in my teens in church choir. It has always been my favorite song. I am 83 now and could never sing this again but i sure so enjoy listening to it.
Send me your WhatsApp contact..so that I will share you more of these songs
Beautiful! I love watching the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing it🎵🎶
yay Moller and Paul!! This is a killer track. Saving to "Good" folder! (I'll be listening off and on for quite a while)
Young genius plays priceless pipe organ. What could go wrong. Bravo!
Forgive me for overreacting and commenting again but this combination of Händel, Paul Fey and the Möller organ is excellent, I love it 👌 ❤
I‘m so happy to hear that! Thank you so much for re-watching! 😀😀
Re-watching is an understatement. I've already watched it four times in one night 🤭
@@elnanaude5694Ich auch!😉😉😉
My Kind of person.

Absolutely beautiful! It brings tears to my eyes and gives me chills!
Hey, lieber Paul. Klasse Orgel, klasse Musik!
Paul, you’re a master of the pipe organ! I love to indulge in your super talents!
Absolutely perfect! I admire your evenness of playing and choice of resignation. Who needs a choir when you have Mr Frey at the keys? From Nova Scotia Canada
This is one amazing pipe organ, to be sure!
Thank you Handel and Paul
Sounds like somebody's having a lot of fun! This is the BEST!
Dear Paul- all my life people have laughed at me for playing in my socks - and then i find that you too! You are absolutely awesome!!!!!!

Ich bin so erfreut. Danke Paul Fry.👍🏻👏
I love this music. It moves me so much.
Alas, I know that this recording cannot compare to being there and experiencing it live. 😦😁
This gonna be great Paul! I'm so looking forward to this!😁👍👍
Always nice to hear different arrangements of the Hallelujah Chorus for organ. Great performance on a powerful Möller organ!
Thank you very much! 😀
Paul - bravo!! One of the greatest performances I have ever listened to of this piece - your style / interpretation is phenomenal! I am an organist in my mid 20s from Northern USA - this was really fun to watch. My first time hearing / seeing you perform. Continue doing great things :)
Ohh, thank you so much, Jens! I'm so happy to hear that 😀
Es ist jedesmal ein riesiges Vergnügen, dir beim Spielen zuzuhören und zuzusehen, einfach erstklassig, ganz speziell dieses Stück. Herzliche Gratulation.

@@PaulFey I can't wait! Thank you!
Amen and Amen,Hallelujah Amen.
Dear Paul, thank you very much for this wonderful piece of music! A masterpiece of the genius G.F. Händel, very well performed by a real master of the queen of instruments.
This video was the first one of yours that I watched, recommended to me by the algorithm of TH-cam, it really gives me inspiration.
About a year ago, I've begun to learn to play the piano by myself. Now I'm thinking about buying an organ for my home and to learn to play this wonderful instrument.
Ich wünsche Dir frohe Weihnachten und einen guten Rutsch ins Jahr 2024!
Ooooh, das freut mich sehr!! Vielen Dank fürs Zuschauen und frohe Weihnachten!! 😀😀
My favortite music. As always your great playing and fantastic organ sound. Brilliant combination. Thank you for great musical moment.
Thank you so much!! 😀
Paul fey is the best organist I ever heard ❤😊
He’s obviously good but Richard Elliott is the best since Virgil Fox
*Amazing*

Wow!! The most beautiful, majestic piece of music ever written gloriously performed on that huge, magnificent pipe organ! Splendid indeed! Spectacular!
I can't wait to hear this, Paul!

Beautiful, awesome, stunning.........
Hallelujah! What a way to start a day. ❤ Paul, you sure convey the spirit of that most loved portion of “The Messiah “!! You brought out the magnificent beauty of the piece and that organ. Thank you ❤ Royden
Thank you so much, Royden!! 😀
Every time I see one of your videos, it makes me so happy! I love seeing that organs are still being used even in your and my generation.
I feel like you and Anna Lapwood are both showing how amazing the King of Instruments truly is!
Absolutely wonderful! ❤
So beautiful!!!!!
Thank you so much!! 😀
as a retired Lutheran organist and living in small town America...I have been asked to play this at the annual Christmas concert at the local retirement community....Oh how I wish I had your amazing talent and skill.....lacking that... at least I have this video... which I point to and tell people this is how it ought to sound....wonderful job( as I try not to be jealous...LOL)
Thank you so much!! 😀😀
Hello William. Your ability to bring your presentation to those dear folk is a great blessing to them and 'a means of grace'.
@@rolandbevan7088 not if you had heard it.....but thanks the same and at least the event is over......Handel likely would have rolled over in his grave if he heard it.....which is why I complemented Paul......PEACE
I play trumpet at church and would love the opportunity to play this again!
Beautiful soo talented
Best video editing I’ve seen in a long time. It makes for a stunning presentation.
Thank you so much, Rick!! 😀
I only live 10 minutes away from National City… I sure wish I knew you were in town… Dang! I've been following you for a while, but I just missed this somehow… Powerful rendition Paul! Thank you so much!
Oooh no worries! This was just a private recording session, so there wouldn’t have been any concert to attend 😀 I‘ll definitely be back though!
Absolutely STUNNING!!! Thankyou!!!!
Thank you for watching!! 😀
So ein gewaltiger Jubel. Herrlich. 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍
I sang at National City Christian Church a few years ago during a choir tour through First Plymouth Church in Lincoln, NE under the direction of Tom Trenney. Excellent performance!
An amazing and jubilant performance of the Hallelujah Chorus played on this really large Moller pipe organ. Thanks, Paul. Very uplifting !
Wonderful played... Congratulations! A majestic and powerful peace for Easter Sunday or Christmas!
Was soll man da noch sagen? Phänomenal! 💪🏻👏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
What a superbly played organ transcription of "Hallelujah Chorus"!!! Not easy, especially at that tempo, which most orchestras use. Excellent use of the 4th finger on moving notes while octaves sustained (King of Kings, Lord of Lords)with other fingers. Demonstrates your practiced, practiced time spent on independent finger exercises. Fantastic organ for this Handel composition. Video beautiful. Best wishes on the remainder of your US tour. Hope there are many more USA cities on more USA tours in future years.
Thank you so much, John!! I love the US so far,l and hope to be back!
And people say that organ music is sad!!
Absolutely Beautiful. Thank you for sharing such beauty and talent.

Wonderfully executed, Paul, on a magnificent organ. I listened to your transcription of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah Wednesday morning. What a marvellous sound with which to start the day. Many thanks, as always, Paul

Halleluja to this most amazing piece of music ever written (in my humble opinion), and excellently performed Paul! ❤
Thank you só much
Thank you so much!! 😊
I was so overwhelmed with the magnificent music and your expression of it, that I omitted to mention the beautiful organ 🤗
Wonderful!
Absolutely beautiful!! Paul is so young and pipe organs are so complex to play! Thank you God for giving him this talent!!! 🤲🤲
God gave him a brain with the free will to decide to learn to play the organ so beautifully. Paul made a wise choice that also brings joy to the many who are lucky enough to listen to him play.
O blessed is the Lord in the Higuest! This lovely Music makes me really feeling alive, and specially thanks to You Paul!
Thanks so much Paul for your wonderful music which I enjoy from Sri Lanka. May God's abundant blessings be with you always .
Oh, thank you so much for watching! 😊
Absolutely beautiful music. Thank you for your performance. I enjoy it so much!!!
Love this!
Absolutely amazing!!!! Loved every second of it! You play tremendously well! 🎉
Fantastic rendition! I attended a service there about 30 years ago, and during one of the hymns I heard authentic hand-bells behind and above; they were in cabinets, whose doors had opened automatically when the stop was pulled. After the service, I took a guided tour of the church, and upon returning to the sanctuary, the organist was rolling back a carved partition that hid the organist from view of the congregation, and was awestruck by the 5-manual console. I talked a short while with the organist and he offered to let me play it! I played my go-to college recital piece, Chaconne en Sol, by Louis Couperin, which gave me opportunity to utilize several of the manuals. I RUE that I lacked the chutzpah to pull some big reeds at the end! One other remark: I remember, between the last two pillars on both sides are offset chests supporting the huge 32' open diapason pipes; I could see the mitered tops. Are they behind the guilded pipes?
Unfortunately, this instrument doesn’t have a 32’ Open Diapason rank of pipes. What you might have seen would have been the 32’ Untersatz, which is one of the finest examples of that stop in DC. What would be the 32’ Open Wood stop you mentioned are Walker Digital pedal extensions.
@@WDHOOD2 Thanks for the correction. I am old, with memory like denim jeans - faded with holes.
My Favorite!!!❤
Wat een top performance en echt mij hart slaat over hier hou ik van bedankt voor deze muziek 👍🎹🎹🎹👍💚
Toutes mes félicitations pour cette très belle interprétation aux grandes orgues. 👍👍👍⚜️⚜️⚜️🇲🇫
Heard it now, marvelous!! And you used the 64" rank. I saw the grille clothes on the speakers pulsing way slower than possible to hear! Thanks, Paul.
Wonderful Paul! Thank you!!
Dear Paul. You're really a great inspiring organist and composer. When you do a world tour, please don't forget Africa... the Continent where the King of Instruments was born
Another nice one!
Riesige Orgel und Händel. Fantastisch 🙏👍👌
That must be overwelming to sit around al those pipes that are blowing the sound to your ears 😍
Paul, its a superb and sublime performance!! ❤❤
That was wonderful, Paul...reminded me of a great album I have, from the 60's... Robert Owen, "The Power of the Organ" ...Thanx for sharing this!
Absolutely beautiful! Keep up the good work Paul. Greatly appreciated.
Halleluja Paul,klasse
Absolutely awesome!!
Absolutely Beautiful!
I've heard a lot about you and your musical talent from my/our friend Brian! This speaks to my soul!!! Thank you
Beautiful 😍I loved it!
Can't wait! This organ was originally a 50 rank EM Skinner Organ during the 30s. My organ teacher commissioned Möller to build a 4 manual organ in 1976. Then, in 1985, it became the first 5 manual organ in DC. Simon Preston said, "Once you play this organ, it spoils you for others." Will you play the 5 manual organ at First Baptist Church.
The Trompette En Chamade was inspired by the State Trumpet of St. John Divine. The En Chamade was voiced by a Hungarian organ builder. Also the 64ft Double Ophicleide is digital.
Oooh, I will play at First Baptist tomorrow! So excited for that 😀
@@PaulFey WONDERFUL! I practice there every saturday. I assume you met Rev. Erick Matthis and the new organist Sean Burns right?
The trompette en chamade might suprise you. ;)
In NYC we never like Mollers. We always thought the were very subdued in brightness compared to the Skinner organs.
What a magnificent organ and a magnificent performance. Outstanding Paul!
Thank you so much!! 😀
Beautiful indeed. Very inspirational. Blessings!
BRAVO..! love your work, your talent keep it rollin young man.
Überwältigend, vielen Dank 👌👍
