Personally Bezels never bothered me. That is a marketing tool in my opinion aside from that I like the 8+ design and in my opinion the only true negative is no headphone jack...
I agree, however the cable on the headphones were annoying to an extent, wireless(bluetooth) headphones are easier to connect and comfortable to even walk around without having to untangle the cable.

I upgraded from the 6s plus to the 8 plus about one month ago and I cannot express how happy I am that I did it. The camera is amazing and the phone is fast and I haven’t experienced any hiccups. The battery life is great, even better than my 6s when I got it. The phone feels like a product that will last, and I’m excited to see how it is in the next year or two.
Software Network just got my 8 plus product red today! I’m still keeping my 6s plus for extra video recording, music and things like that. Plus it’s a nice clean back up on trips. One dies slip the chip in the other one lol!
Even in late 2019, it's a great phone. The 8 Plus is the best phone i have ever had, i've had mine since December 2017 and i still love it, plan on keeping it for 3 more years.

lawl laweller depends on what you want. I personally love the 8 plus. It’s fast and it looks pretty. Also if you’re not ready for the iphone x look then go for the 8 or 8 plus. I’ve actually grown used to the size. It felt like i was holding a brick for a couple days and then I got used to it and love it. I would recommend a speck grip case or an otterbox symmetry. The reason I don’t recommend a otterbox defender is because it is huge and it makes you feel like you’re holding a brick. I would also recommend tech 21 because they are slim but they offer good protection if you get evo mesh or evo check. If you have any other questions feel free

I actually used Touch ID till my home button broke ( on my 6s ) and now I miss it . Mate, honestly, people don’t keep going to change camera quality settings. Having too many options in the camera systems can confuse the consumer, hence why Samsung changed their camera UI.
By far the best phone I have had. The combination of speed, battery life, camera quality and speaker quality is fantastic. I am hoping to get 4 years out of this phone and I think Apple will be supporting at least that long software wise.

I had an X from launch and media consumption wasn’t as nice because of aspect ratios either making the screen on par with with the iPhone 7 or getting the screen cut off . Battery life was sub par and while driving ... I found Face ID to be a nuisance ( and dangerous) . I switched to product Red 8 plus and could t be happier

I tried the iPhone x twice, returned it, and the second time gave it to my wife. Just isn't as smooth as the iPhone 8 plus style body. Fingerprint scanner, control center from the bottom just is an easier thing to deal with. Also hate the new aspect ratio

We needed new phones, just bought an 8 +, but I am trying to hold out for the second one. Does Apple normally drop prices on older phones when new ones debut? I think I will still want this 8 +, I like a home button and a few other features over the X.
Caustic I got the XS Max on launch day and had it for about a week and a half. It’s a nice phone but it’s just not worth the price Apple wants to charge. Face ID is inferior to Touch ID, in my opinion, and the A12 processor is no faster in my day-to-day usage. Just about the only new feature for the XS was the bokeh effect for the camera, but you can do that with a good photo editing app. So I returned my XS Max and went back to my 8 Plus.
Caustic I mean if you prefer Touch ID over Face ID then I think you should go for the 8 plus, and if you’re on a budget or something I suggest you get the iPhone 7 Plus, the features are pretty much the same (edit) but* the chip is stronger on the iPhone 8 Plus! :)
I love my 8 plus. I have no issues. The specs are great and I still have my home button. The screen is big enough. This and the 6 plus are my faves so far.
I have this phone and like it. What kills it for me is battery life. I can never make it a full day without having to recharge it. I am not a gamer nor do I watch videos on this phone. Or use it for work and on a good day, I'm out of battery by 3 PM. In contrast, I also have a BlackBerry KeyOne and using it in the same manner I can go a full day and sometimes two days without having to recharge the battery. That's why I have both phones. One is for work and the other one is for everything else. I wish the iPhone could do both.

Robert Ibanez fingerprint sensor is obsolete and less secure and the 8+ is too big and huge bezels just aren't beautiful

I get to switch my 6s for a newer iPhone. Im actually leaning towards the 8 plus... should i get the X max? Im so conflicted.
Caustic I got the XS Max on launch day and had it for about a week and a half. It’s a nice phone but it’s just not worth the price Apple wants to charge. Face ID is inferior to Touch ID, in my opinion, and the A12 processor is no faster in my day-to-day usage. Just about the only new feature for the XS was the bokeh effect for the camera, but you can do that with a good photo editing app. So I returned my XS Max and went back to my 8 Plus.
Caustic I mean if you prefer Touch ID over Face ID then I think you should go for the 8 plus, and if you’re on a budget or something I suggest you get the iPhone 7 Plus, the features are pretty much the same (edit) but* the chip is stronger on the iPhone 8 Plus! :)

I love my 8 plus. I have no issues. The specs are great and I still have my home button. The screen is big enough. This and the 6 plus are my faves so far.

I have this phone and like it. What kills it for me is battery life. I can never make it a full day without having to recharge it. I am not a gamer nor do I watch videos on this phone. Or use it for work and on a good day, I'm out of battery by 3 PM. In contrast, I also have a BlackBerry KeyOne and using it in the same manner I can go a full day and sometimes two days without having to recharge the battery. That's why I have both phones. One is for work and the other one is for everything else. I wish the iPhone could do both.
Stop overusing your phone, then. They're not meant for that.

Anilal Kadakkal just think S9 has those features you want the stereo speakers the ar emoji the mechanical camera IP68 headphone jack infinity display slow motion 960 fps dual SIM SD slot I believe S9 could be for you if you don't these features then get one plus 6.

Cliffracer bro it's okay iPhone 8 plus is great too but to be honest I just became uncomfortable with iPhone nowadays it looks all the same to me there was a decision on what phone to get for my mom the iPhone 8 plus the iPhone x or S9+ my mom S9+ and she loves it a lot but iPhone 8 plus still a great out there

I'm going to buy the 8+red in two weeks just because I prefer touch ID over the face ID, also I don't bother about bezels. I don't think it's worth spend a fortune on an X just for a few features that I won't use that much (memoji, animoji).
