Grabbed a modpack from nexus that includes new game modes/mission types. One is called "Break Out" and it starts you in the middle of the map and you have to get to an extraction point on the edge. To up the difficulty, we purposefully start with just naked pistols and have to upgrade our weapons from our kills. It's pretty sweet and we've been having a tons of fun.

Thumb over bore aka C clamp is a very common way of holding AR's. Especially if there's a flashlight switch set up on there. Yes, it does wear you out and usually after a while guys will start moving their hand back further and further to support the rifle. I think it probably originated with 3-gun or skeet shooting, to control the barrel. It helps if you're swinging the rifle from target to target, as the mass of the barrel is easier to control that way. Try swinging your rifle from target to target while holding the mag well, and you'll notice it becomes a bit harder to stabilize.
Is there a progression system in this game ? Like looting for better equipments or progressing your character skills. Or is it just pick a loadout, do the task and move to the next mission ?
There is no progression system in the game, you get everything from the start. Now, you don't simply pick a loadout either, you get to customize your weapons however you want like placing the attachments anywhere you want on the rails! You can even customize your outfit and gear too! As for just completing the objective and moving on, pretty much, yeah.
@@obscurside3652 Alright, but the customization may as well be a game in itself. A lot of people seem to dislike the lack of replayability it has, but it's still really fun to play every now and then with some friends.
One thing that always bugs me about this game is the running animation, something about the way you just see the weapon bobbing perfectly up and down just seems goofy to me.
Game needs more and different modes with more interesitng AI so it doesn't always feel so goddamn dead and empty. Scenarios where the AI is in groups doing stuff as little squads would go a long way. I mean even in the original Ghost Recon the enemies always tended to roam in groups of 3-4 so if you shot one person the others in the group would react and break for cover or start laying suppressing fire.

@@kyles9937 Ty for your answer, replayability seems pretty low then, i'll pass on this one
@@obscurside3652 Alright, but the customization may as well be a game in itself. A lot of people seem to dislike the lack of replayability it has, but it's still really fun to play every now and then with some friends.
game textures are still fuzzy and blurry on 2gb cards, i hope they fix the streaming issues on the game engine
One thing that always bugs me about this game is the running animation, something about the way you just see the weapon bobbing perfectly up and down just seems goofy to me.
looks like Deadside for some reason. Are they using the same engine?
Game needs more and different modes with more interesitng AI so it doesn't always feel so goddamn dead and empty. Scenarios where the AI is in groups doing stuff as little squads would go a long way. I mean even in the original Ghost Recon the enemies always tended to roam in groups of 3-4 so if you shot one person the others in the group would react and break for cover or start laying suppressing fire.
i don't buy early access games. glad people are beta testing it
With Tarkov kinda being in flux, is this a decent replacement?
"I've been playing The Finals" most of us just gave up and got bored of that game after 2 weeks of gameplay from youtubers and no invite
I tried playing on the lowest settings but still get really big and frequent stutters on my laptop, which is a shame because it looks fun
The game looks now really really good and feels solid, but the ai need work, and some different voice lines
