    Howdy Ricer.Say this old video was very very good. I was surprised that I never thought about that pet food bowl trick for speeding up lighting charcoal, nice very nice. And the idea of placing the two steaks together for seasoning the edges of the steaks? Genius and why haven't I ever thought of doing that? And lastly catching your wonderful wife on camera? I can see you married up. Well done😁. Anyway I haven't seen you in awhile. Hope you and the family are doing great. Have a great day. 🌞 🔥👍🍻

    I have GrillGrates for two of my Weber grills, Spirit E330 and copper Weber Kettle 22. My Weber Smokey Mountain doesn’t need one. The GrillGrates are one of the perfect accessories for any grill. Try the Slow and Sear and add a Weber Rotisserie and you’ve got everything you need to grill with. Your video was informative. Good for those who haven’t used the grates. One thing that you’ve done and no one else, I’ve seen, is press the steaks down. I do the same thing. At any rate good video and ROLL TIDE!

    Hey just started watching your great and wonderful videos. Very instructional indeed.if you don't mind posting some links on those gloves both of them the white ones and the black ones because I'm just starting to learn about them and I really want to buy some but I don't know exactly what kinds they are especially the white ones? Thanks.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ

      The white ones are just a cheap pair of cotton gloves you can get a Home Depot and the black one are Nitrile gloves. I get mine in the farm supply aisle at Fleet Farm. But I think I have seen them at Walmart also. Harbor Freight should have them. Hope this helps!! Thanks for watching!!

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Each grate is approximately 5x20 but you can purchase many different sizes! You can cut back some on the charcoal if you want but I want the grates to get 500-600 degrees and last for 2 cooks if needed. Usually I cook a couple extra steaks so the kids have some lunch or we make up some steak tacos the next day. 🤠 Thanks for watching!!!

      Ya pulling for the Bucks been a long time since they have done anything. Ponderosa was or kind of still is in the North and Bonanza was more in the south. Back in the 70’s and 80’s it was the place to go for some pretty good steaks. Plus dang cheap! Haha

    Not to be an ass, but this is the comments section so it’s kinda required...at 7:18 you used the glove hand to touch the raw side while flipping the steak and then smashed said raw-contaminated-glove hand into the cooked side. So much for the 10 pairs of gloves you went thru in the video to demonstrate food safety. 😂. Grate looking steaks by the way (pun intended).
