Blood , Sweat and Tears Incorporated, jazz, blues, gospel, soul, rock, and even Show tune genres in their production of their music . I’m 68 years old and They don’t make music like this anymore. I am in awe when the younger generation discovers the music that we grew up with
My all-time favorite group. Bought every album as it was released. Saw them in concert many, many times. My daughter absorbed rock/jazz fusion from the time she was four years old and forever influenced her taste in music. We also loved Chicago and collected their albums and went to their concerts.
These guys were the cream of the crop...don't hear this caliber of music today. If you do, it's rare. Oh, how we lament the passing of those days...sublime.
Blood Sweat and Tears make you feel every bit of the song! A superb band with incredible lead vocals by David Clayton Thomas. Good comparison about Steely Dan as Donald and Walter were heavily influenced by jazz.
Great track by B,S & T I was in high school when this album came out and I was playing the guitar. So if an album didn't feature the guitar, I didn't make time for it. Nevertheless I remember these songs fondly and they sound better than ever when I hear them now. There were several great songs on this album. Great reaction too bro!!
What an album. A Billie Holiday song that Blood Sweat & Tears did an awesome job covering.
This is how you develop an eclectic taste in music. Listening to different types 😊
That's why I don't have a problem with reaction channels.... young folks hearing music they may not have otherwise listened to.

Bro , more of this please & thank you .
This Group operates at the highest level .
Utter brilliance became routine for them .
From the same album: check out "Smiling Phases" or "Sometimes in Winter", from their next album, check out "Hi-de-ho", the uncut album version.
Trumpet solo by the late, great Lew Soloff.
I SAW THEM IN CONCERT IN THE 70S........WOOOOOOW!

Always loved these guys, such a fine sound, love that brass section.

This song is full of wisdom.

❤a Billie Holiday song which she made it her own. You will love this song.
I went to their concert in the 70s
Now that’s how you do reactions !
I recommend Hi De Ho from the next BW&T album. Has the same jazz feel to it with some surprises.
The whole band, but David Clayton Thomas may be one of the purest, greatest, most powerful male voices in my lifetime. I'm 66.
And check out Billie Holiday, the genius woman who wrote this song. And I know she would have dug this!
Never heard this before, this version, have heard Billie Holiday's version. Enjoyed this quite a bit, your reaction as well Ace, thanks bro!
Billie Holiday (Lady Day) wrote the lyrics to this song.
Loved your review especially when you broke into full Salsa. Funny, funny, funny!
Listen to another song they covered and added their style to, Symphony for the devil/ Sympathy for the devil
Love your hair
David Clayton Thomas
