Everyone wants to go naturally, not in pain. There will be one child born to carry on when your gone. Circle of life. Your reaction was adorable. The whole album was wonderful! Keep going, your doing well✌️
Blood, Sweat & Tears is a jazz-rock music group founded in 1967. They are noted for their combination of brass & rock band instrumentation. Especially love their stuff when David Clayton-Thomas joined as their lead singer. They have had a lot of great songs such as "Spinning Wheel", "Hi-De-Ho" "Lucretia MacEvil", "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know", "Go Down Gamblin'", "Lisa Listen To Me" etc.
There’s so much more to music, art, and life than just “happy” or “sad”. There are a million ideas, feelings, and sounds, strong, subtle, ambivalent and equivocal, filling the universe, in-between, and beyond those two simplistic poles.
Thank you for taking one of my request for this band: Blood Sweat & Tears. and this album is a MASTERPIECE!!! This is a celebration of a death or his death.
Me, too! I absolutely loved this album- God Bless the Child was an entirely different world for me. I was first a HUGE fan of "Father is Child to the Man", the first, and completely different, incarnation of the band. Both versions had a genius...a savant...at every station. Al Kooper led the band and produced (some would say over-produced, though I loved it) the first album, which largely impressed me as a 14 year old, and the next iteration had David Clayton Thomas as the singer, and the lead trumpet player as the arranger, which changed everything. Wikipedia states that Fred Lipsius, the alto sax player did a lot of the arranging for the second album, but I have otherwise heard that it was one of the trumpet players, Chuck Winfield or David Soloff who did the heavy lifting. Jim Fielder the bass player, was, and still is, a God to me. And I am forever a devoted fan of Al Kooper, RIP.
BS&T and Chicago were my two favorite groups in high school. I saw BS&T at Carnegie Hall around 1970-71. The great jazz pianist Thelonius Monk was the opening act. GREAT concert. Bobby Colomby their drummer is amazing. Hard to pick between him and Chicago's Danny Seraphine. Lou Soloff, the lead trumpet, played with jazz great Maynard Ferguson, before BS&T.
These guys were among the top musicians in the country, David's voice and the horn section stood out, not that the rest of them weren't as good. I really liked Lew Soloff's (RIP), trumpet solos. He had a high range. Very high. I saw them live, in Hawaii, 70s. The group had many genres of music combined. Some soul and blues, too. But jazz, mainly.
At once a lament and a celebration of living..no-one gets out alive..so let us go naturally... Satan get thee behind me..for there'll be 🎶 one child born to carry on..to carry on ..yeah yeah 🎶... Blood Sweat & Tears...💚...yes do their album... there's a track 💥... Celebrate you'll have no confusion on it's message 😁... 🌿🌿🌿
This song is a very hopeful song that expresses that when we die...there is another birth in the world that will happen to carry on with Life or something we were doing to carry on with what we were doing. Deep..heh. Do the whole album. It's a masterpiece. Do 2 songs every time on a day of the week until you complete the entire album. Love your energy!!! Keep up the good work! That idiot who called you an idiot is an idiot....and in reality...WE are all idiots!!!! lol
This Band became famous in the late 1960s, and had continued success into the late 70s. There were the obvious comparisons to the Band "Chicago" but some subtle differences between them in style. Chicago was much more Rock than Blood Sweat and Tears. They both used the horn section, and both bands had top shelf musicians. Thanks
It is hard to believe this song was written by Laura Nyro when she was 17 years old. You should really have a listen to her versions of this and the many other standards she wrote.

You are reacting perfectly, this is a mix of Americana and it is absolutely meant to be uplifting. There is no wrong way to enjoy music ☮️

The entire album is fire! I had the vinyl when I was 14 and the songs are even more awesome now.
One of the first albums I ever bought. Wore it out.

The album won 1969 Grammy album of the year. Beating out the Beatles and others...
Great Laura Nyro song. Love the horn section and David Clayton Thomas has that great voice. Big hit for the band.
Absolutely one of the best song writers of her generation.

You've been hitting a LOT of Classics. Keep going, you've still got a hell of a ride in front of ya!
I enjoy your reactions. Ignore the haters and keep giving new music a listen...it's so worth it! Your friends from northeast Florida
Perfect timing. Just lit up some fresh ground flower and again surprised that I still remember all of the words. And you make me laugh so much.
Thanks for your reaction to this. One of my all-time favorites.
It’s an upbeat song.

Don't forget One Fine Morning!!!
Delightful reaction. Hey. No one really knows. …… Might as well laugh while we can. You Go Man‼️😜
Doesn't sound like circus music to me. Sounds more like old time western theme
Second break with the wood blocks sounding like horses , def western vibes

We're all gonna die someday, right? So we're all Hoping for Heaven but Praying there ain't no Hell. This song pretty much sums up human existence.
I think we're supposed to be happy hearing it.
Blood, Sweat and Tears are of my generation I have this album. They were little different, I like most of the songs.
Your reaction is 😅😅😅 Grew up listening to this band 🤣🤣 🎵😅🎵☮️
Try also 'Go down gamblin', 'Hi de ho', 'God rest the child', 'Lucretia Macevil'.
A goofy fun song, I love it!
Ace, don’t worry about the outliers, you can’t please everyone all the time! So why try?
Try "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult.
The live version is amazing
there is a song "When I Die" by a Canadian band Motherlode (1969)....you might want to check it out.
If you like BST - check out (The Ides of March - Vehicle) Like BST meets Tom Jones
The circle of life
Comments are for love, only love.
Try "Go down gambling when you get to get is one of the most impressive tracks you'll listen to.

APPRECIATE IT IF YOU REACT TO A SONG CALLED YOU'RE THE ONLY WOMAN BY AMBROSIA THANKS
Dude - not circus-y - it’s old-time-y gospel-y.
I was never a Blood Sweat and Tears fan. They were boring
To bad for you
