My first guitar was a cheap hunk of wood in a Lespaul shape with a single pick up in the middle!! My mother got it for me when I was 15 yrs old, one of those starter kits, with the little cheap amp!!
That’s one formidable collection and series of backstories. Also excellently demonstrated with that Fireball in terms of tonal variation. Regarding the Les Paul. I think these can be great Black Metal guitars. Tuning stability is an issue. The way I worked mine out. When I tune, I really pull on the strings after to stretch out any potential slack pockets on either side. I keep doing this and retuning until bending the notes to insane levels leaves the strings returning back to their intended tuning point. Worked out fairly well, but it can be time intensive.
@@DevGohilIndeed. I did that even with locking tuners, as I preferred the feel and string response. Definitely great guitars on the whole for anything mean and heavy. Personally, and in the spirit of heresy, I like Les Pauls with locking tremolo systems.

I almost see it as an essential, which makes fixed bridge offerings seem a bit lacking. Hoping to have the opportunity, someday, to get a seven string Les Paul and have it modified with a Floyd Rose tremolo system.

I'd say, go to a shop with a good selection of guitars and try out EVERYTHING that catches your eye, and what the staff recommend, you'll easily shortlist what you like/dont like. There's so much selection now
Im guessing your guitars are tuned differently and you only use a specific one for a specific purpose so you dont have to goto a guitar store to constantly get them set up?
@@DevGohil i love your ebony fretboard guitars. i want a jackson minion or warrior also i am going to put an original floyd on it. and put a slanted retribution 8 pickup in it or two. i am going to have the fretboard removed for an African blackwood fretboard. With black oxide stainless frets and grey slate sharkfins wide side to the bass strings points to the treble strings. Well i thought about doing a reverse nashville tuning on it. tuned to C2 on low and C3 on high using all wounds. What do you think?

Euronymous played a Les Paul on Deathcrush and DMDS iirc, so they're certainly viable guitars for BM even if they present some tuning/setup hurdles.
Yeah I remember having to do that a lot too, a set of locking tuners, and maybe a string butler will help out a lot more too
