Sales is not the same as demand. All that we should be talking about is where demand is going. If the demand is still there for these vehicles then it is usually design, cost, or content. I think we know if it is one of those, what the likely problem is. Tommy's comment at 11:28 about screen is spot on. I love the 10.6" road clearance of this Expedition Tremor. Apparently the Platinum and another of the trims come with adjustable air ride suspension. And if that Stealth package you mentioned means all black, I assume exterior only, can you get that on all the trims, the Tremor especially but Platinum too?
A couple of things they broke in the update process are putting the drive mode switch in the same spot the headlight switch has occupied for ages. Steering wheel controls is the other. We’re getting ready to upgrade to something larger for our family of 5 and I’d love to got an Expedition but the twin turbo V6 just gets atrocious mpg- we had an ‘18 and it got 16 mpg. Would’ve been nice for new Expedition to go hybrid, though I just drive an F-150 hybrid 500 miles and averaged just 21-22…we’ll probably end up going for the diesel Chevy or GMC.
The constant crying about shifters is absurd lol when a transmission is digital there is no reason to continue taking up space with fake shifters. Everyone loves to complain about fake air vents and exhausts and having a fake shifter is the same thing.
So a $6000 price increase bringing the base model entry level price to 61 and change. So using these numbers a decade from now we can expect, assuming similar price increases each year, of $120,000 for a base expedition? FFS. Do the same math on the Mavericks price increases since introduced and those will be at 50K in no time. NOT SUSTAINABLE.
With only 2:31 into the video I can assure you it’s way overpriced. For crying out loud overall new vehicle sales are down because of insane increases since Covid, interest rates and yet most if not all manufacturers increase prices on all new models. They should be lowering prices. How’s about trying that. Remove all the latest that tech that majority of buyers never use and drop them +20% and I bet they will sell more vehicles to compensate for these continued ridiculous price increases.
These companies since covid had said their profit margins are better when they sell expensive vehicles with few quantities than sell an affordable one via high quantities.

Other countries outside the US is significant more expensive
Liberals don't even need this SUV, as homosexuals won't even have kids.
I’m not trading in my Yukon until they bring back full sized SUVs with V8s column shifters and two doors….so never
You’ll be keeping your Yukon for a LONNNNNG time!
If I nod my head enough and don't comb my hair, can I get Tommy's job?
Run Andre, that guy is an alien! What a bizarre speech pattern and accent.
What are talking about
Just make the 7.3 gas engine a expedition max only option.
Can’t you just change all of these controls via voice recognition? “Headlights On” like George Jetson ha
Changing the headlights operation to the screen is the dumbest idea of dumb ideas!! If it’s really cost savings then where are the actual savings for us the consumers!!! And I’ll be shocked if this rides well on models with 24s. And damn that base price, geez!
I’ve owned 6 Fords in the last decade.
3.0 duramax. Any other engine will get 18 max. Mine gets 25 average
The prices keep going up, but people keep buying these things. What's going on?
Isn't there a 700 hp engine in the newer f150? Thanks guys.
In the Raptor R there’s a 720 supercharged V8…. What’s your point? Ya think Ford should throw that in an Expedition????
The constant crying about shifters is absurd lol when a transmission is digital there is no reason to continue taking up space with fake shifters. Everyone loves to complain about fake air vents and exhausts and having a fake shifter is the same thing.
Nobody’s happy about everything nowadays
So a $6000 price increase bringing the base model entry level price to 61 and change. So using these numbers a decade from now we can expect, assuming similar price increases each year, of $120,000 for a base expedition? FFS. Do the same math on the Mavericks price increases since introduced and those will be at 50K in no time. NOT SUSTAINABLE.
Alex Lane
NO V-8 NO SALE!
What’s up with the “Smiley Face Frontend Grills” these days? First the Chevy\GMC Silverado\Sierra then this?
With only 2:31 into the video I can assure you it’s way overpriced. For crying out loud overall new vehicle sales are down because of insane increases since Covid, interest rates and yet most if not all manufacturers increase prices on all new models. They should be lowering prices. How’s about trying that. Remove all the latest that tech that majority of buyers never use and drop them +20% and I bet they will sell more vehicles to compensate for these continued ridiculous price increases.
These companies since covid had said their profit margins are better when they sell expensive vehicles with few quantities than sell an affordable one via high quantities.
I don’t like the drl’s - it looks like a gmc!
They did a great job. It's a shame they'll sell about 6 of them. Way too overpriced.
LOL no
Before the intro add is complete. NO
‘24 Chevy/GMC sales ticked down bc much updated ‘25 hits lots this quarter.
No.
But he never touch durability ford are garbage… and the front lights looks like gmc sierra
The Tremor always brought on special offroad equipment like a torsion front differential and upgraded suspension. This Tremor is purely assthetics, like the timberline was accused of having. This doesnt even have special front hooks or skid plate like the Explorer Timberline has. Well i guess the Tremor isnt that special anymore, and its just for looks
It does have skid plates though….
I would just get a Ford Excursion in my opinion
Are you suggesting those thinking to spend 90k on a new large SUV should just buy a 20 yrs old excursion instead? Because there is no new ones available.
@DarthNero You want to pay for a expensive vehicle or rather have something you can afford? So what if the Excursion is 20 years old? I bet you can find one in good shape for less than a expensive vehicle. Yes, I recommend buying a 20 year old vehicle who gives a flying F that's a lame and stupid idiotic comment.
@@DarthNeroYeah, I’m confused too…. Does he mean Ford should produce the excursion again?
@DarthNero I'm talking for the people who don't think it should be way over priced that's the Navigator the Expedition should not be at Navigator prices. I'm speaking to those who don't want to pay for an expensive large SUV that is way too much tech. I myself if I had a family you damn right I would get an Excursion over the Expedition. I doubt that people today actually do want and need people today just buy shit because they want it not because they need.
Blame the geeks for putting the headlights switch in the screen geeks at Ford should be fired for a stupid idiotic idea. Just buy a Ford Excursion over the Expedition
Who the f cares about the headlights not having a switch when they come on automatically. People bitch about the dumbest 💩.
As a tech guy in the IT industry: no, there are some of us that don't like the oversized touchscreen, simple functions locked behind menus requiring multiple taps to get to, and digital gauges either.
Every new vehicle is trash. Way overpriced for a bunch of shit nobody wants.
