Hello I'm new your chanel enjoy explore beautiful grand vanice canal mall and BGC god bless Philippines a great country now thanks to sharing my country god bless stay safe I'm watching from Riyadh saudi
I've loved watching your videos in Manila. I've travelled to the Philippines 4 times, and its my favourite place by far, can't wait to go back. I've walked through BGC at 4am with friends and felt completely safe, its a beautiful place. Look forward to watching more of your videos :)
BGC (Bonifacio Global City) is a modern Business/Commercial/Leisure/Residential district in Taguig City. Foreigners especially westerners go and live there. Western foreigners also live in Makati City but Makati is more of Business district than leisure. Meanwhile, Venice Mall is in McKinley (near BGC).
I think that whole BGC area used to be part of Fort McKinley during the 50s. My cousin used to live inside the military compound during our grade school days. I can still remember that both of us used to play inside 2 unattended Sherman tanks and a half track personnel carrier right beside the camp concessionaire. That was once upon a time. Now I am happy to know that the whole area is considered a world class ultra modern city.
BGC is really cool at night also, i love the stunning bright lights. There is also a modern city in Manila it's Eastwood city, they said it's the san Francisco California vibe of the Philippines it has own version Hollywood walk of fame, nice buildings, small tram like transportation which you can ride for free.
BGC is part of Metro Manila composed of 17 cities. Old Manila is another city which used to be the country's ancient capital until 16 other cities were bunched together and became Metro Manila. BGC now is Metro Manila's high end district which is ultra modern and became our show window to tourists. It is where offices of big businesses local and foreign alike are now located.
The "old" Manila or City of Manila IS still the capital city of the Philippines. Metro Manila is just the National Capital Region, a region comprising 16 cities that include the City of Manila the capital of the Philippines.
Yeah. Welcome to the Philippines 🇵🇭 enjoy your stay. I hope you are doing well.. It’s more fun having you in the Philippines 🇵🇭🇬🇧 take care and stay healthy.🎄♥️🌹🏝💐🙏☮️🤙 Thank you for sharing your video. 🤘🌈
Wassuuppp ON THE MOVE! BGC is within the the Territory of TAGUIG CITY also included in Metro Manila. It's good to see you both enjoying your time here in our Country the PHILIPPINES! just ve Safe whatever you do and whenever and wherever you want to go Awesome Ladies!
Hello young couple! New subscriber here from the Philippines. The reason why malls here are flourishing and so vibrant it’s because of its people. Filipinos are family and friends oriented. If not in the malls, We like to have pot luck in the park or a beach picnic in large group especially on birthdays or holidays. Although 80% of us are poor or have just enough but we like the company of others and meet new friends. In 3 words we are a happy loving people. Be safe and good luck in your short stay in my country. Watching from California.
@@wavemaker2077it's a shame but this is a comment coming from a filipino working/living abroad. Yes "80% poor" is a disparage to filipinos coming from a filipino. Shame.
Haven't been there yet. But I've passed by the replica in "The Venetian Hotel" in Vegas several times which also attracts a lot of foreign and domestic tourists. Anyway, I think that replica in the Philippines is better because it's outdoors, the sky is real so the feelingis more authentic. While in Vegas, it's only a mural on the ceiling. Only drawback with it being outdoors (in the Philippines) is if it rains hard or if the sunlight is too intense, which are normal occurences in a tropical country like the Philippines.
New here I just subscribed by the way, welcome to Metro Manila! Nice to see another BGC tour vlog, though it lacks the Forbestown District and the Uptown area... By the way, here are the other business districts of the Metro if you want more to explore other than the BGC and Mc Kinley Hill areas. 1. Ayala Makati 2. Ortigas Center 3. Eastwood City 4. Filinvest City Alabang 5. Araneta City 6. Greenfield District 7. Greenhills district 8. SM by the Bay and ASEANA City (the Casino District) 9. Rockwell Center Makati 10. Circuit Makati. Love to see your vlogs in those districts. Cheers!
Ah loved this, missed actual BGC when we were there so who knows when we'll be back again, went to Venice Grand Canal Mall (which was fab) so enjoyed this. Thanks ladies😊
Thank you for sharing your trip in the Philippines, hope you'll visit some of the provinces and see the beautiful beaches we to offer. Stay safe and enjoy.

Really loved your coverage of BGC guys. I think it's one of the most extensive ones i've seen. You really captured a lot, and the shots are all great. :) Btw, the American Cemetery and Memorial actually has the largest number of graves (17K +) for U.S. personnel killed during World War II. I don't know if you're still in Manila atm. But there's still quite a lot to see here like MAKATI, EASTWOOD CITY, ORTIGAS CENTER, OKADA HOTEL, MANILA OCEAN PARK, and museums like the NATIONAL MUSEUM and AYALA MUSEUM. Check out also ART IN ISLAND - the biggest 3D art museum in Asia. and also THE DESSERT MUSEUM which is like candy land. 🍭 :)

Hello and Good morning! I've seen a couple of your videos and welcome to the Philippines!!! Firstly, on BGC. BGC is part of Taguig City, so its not part of the City of Manila (you also have Makati City in between both). Taguig City, however, is also one of the 13 cities and towns that make up Metropolitan Manila, or the greater Manila Area. Think of it as one province, with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority being the Provincial Government. BGC also stands for Bonifacio Global City, as the area was once part of the Fort Andres Bonifacio Military Complex. You can still see the slimmed down camp when taking a cab from BGC towards the airport. BGC High Street, for example, used to be the camp's Golf Course.
@@Onthemovetravelstories BTW, you probably also see McKinley mentioned a lot in the area (McKinley Hill, McKinley Rd, etc). That's because Camp McKinley was the name of the area during the American Period. It was the largest American camp outside the US during that period. When it was handed to the Philippine Government, the name of the camp was changed to Fort Bonifacio, with Villamor Airbase and the International Airport being the old McKinley Airfield. Prior to that, the old airport stood where Ayala Ave., Makati Ave., and Paseo de Roxas meet (the Makati/Ayala Triangle). That's why those streets are so straight.
