- Welcome to the most modern part of Manila - Bonifacio Global City or GBC. The Philippines have kept surprising us since we arrived and this video is no exception. We did not expect to find such a beautiful, clean, modern, cityscape right here in Luzon! We are so grateful we got to see this beautiful part of Manila before we finally leave the Philippines. You didn't get the chance to go to BGC high street, which is one of the main attractions. BGC is more looking NYC, and check it out at night. Enjoy!
BGC high street was on our list but we were in such a rush this day we didn't end up there 😔 next time for sure!

That mall with a Venice theme is not in BGC. But i could be wrong. What i understand that mall is in Mckinley and that area is a whole new world.

BGC is not in "Manila". To be precise, the location is: BGC, Taguig, NCR, Philippines.
BGC is in *Metro Manila* which is the old name of the National Capital Region ("NCR" for short) which, in turn, is composed of various cities like Manila, Makati and Taguig. Altho the "C" in BGC stands for "city", BGC is not a real city (by national law definition), but a business district located in Taguig City -- at least for now. Makati City, which is adjacent to Taguig City, is challenging this "ownership" in our judicial courts. One very convenient fact about Philippine language (i.e. Filipino) is that we are not too reliant on accent/intonation. As long as you pronounce each syllable, we will likely understand you. I hope you enjoyed your stay here in PHL ! Salamat po!
