BGC is not in "Manila". To be precise, the location is: BGC, Taguig, NCR, Philippines. BGC is in *Metro Manila* which is the old name of the National Capital Region ("NCR" for short) which, in turn, is composed of various cities like Manila, Makati and Taguig. Altho the "C" in BGC stands for "city", BGC is not a real city (by national law definition), but a business district located in Taguig City -- at least for now. Makati City, which is adjacent to Taguig City, is challenging this "ownership" in our judicial courts. One very convenient fact about Philippine language (i.e. Filipino) is that we are not too reliant on accent/intonation. As long as you pronounce each syllable, we will likely understand you. I hope you enjoyed your stay here in PHL ! Salamat po!
